Hi girls! Well NJ you've just had my office colleague in stitches, with the 'the vagina is acidic' broadcast at top volume across the room Hopefully she won't ask what it was I'm looking at (and why!)
TEUCH, not long till postie...will you do an afternoon wee for us?
Re; questions about work, I went back full-time after dds1 & 2 and it was only after dd3 that I dropped to 'part-time' (4 days a week). Even though I get paid 20 % less I can't say I do any less, lol...I too like the 'add ons' of working out of the home (plus £ of course!)and for me staying at home just wouldn't suit me persoanlly. Having said that, I do enjoy my Fridays at home, and could 'get into' the whole SAHM thing I think if I put my mind to it...but then I'd feel guilty about not working...blah blah blah...Think part-time is a good compromise, but do bear in mind that for some jobs it means a drop in status (if that's important to you) and the drop in income too can be hard to get used to!
Oh and I think I might drop back to May if that's OK girls!! . Have been looking at schedule and it's manic in April (plus dh is away for part of it)...but who knows I might think differently come April!

Hi Everyone,

OMG we have been so busy here while we are away!!!

Not really got too much time to chat at the moment as I have loads of work to catch up on but just wanted to say hi. Like the idea of being the crude thread, suits me down to the ground!! And GOF is much better than BD, rather have that any day .

Been compulsively CM spotting this cycle and it has paid off, got load of EWCM yesterday (actually quite like the picture!!! ) on CD18. This is the first time I have paid proper attention so I am pleased I did!

Had a great long weekend, drank too much, got too little sleep but it was worth it.

Talk later xxx

largeginandtonic · 29/01/2008 13:33

Hello ladies,i have been to work this morning and between 4 of us we had 35 children. It is just a little creche run by the wives Club (dh Navy) i only do 2 mornings a week. It was busy, far too many babies. You all would have loved it!

Horay a RL meetup! BeMyLilBbaby i am in Alverstoke just outside the lovely (not) Gosport. Gun Wharf for coffee methinks?

NJ just how old did you think i was I was whinging big time about being 30 last year but only because dh is only bliimin 27 JUST!!! Gah.

We have a 5 bedroomed house but may need bigger the next time we move. Wont be for a while yet though, will stack and rack till DH job changes post.

I love the name Rupert, was not allowed I have no boys names left! DH will have to chose. Lots of girlie names i like though, trouble is i only dont seem to do girls (have 5 boys 1 girl) so i keep naming the rabbits my fave ones! Have had a Violet, Florence and Jemimah.

How is everyone else? Can someone link me to a very good TTC website please? I want the pics of CM (nice) and CD count etc. Thank you!

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 13:46

Oh LG&T a RL meet up indeed, i do lurve gunwharf, tis so nice and clean!

lucky you with your 5 bed place! 35 Babies wowzers, madness!
i quite like rupert, but DP wouldnt have it, My arguement is i'l be doing all the hard work so i want to pick but obv he unreasonably calmly declares i cannot hog the child all for myself, no fair!!!

Bet NJ will be along with a website for you shortly xx

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 14:01

Hello

Diege, I did warn about the sound! PMSL though, got such a mental picture in my head now

Georgdie, Cambodia, lovely You will have to watch you don't have a stowaway in your suitcase on the way back! I have heard stories about that place!!!

Playing, welcome back Glad you had a good weekend You do know that now you will forever be hooked on knowing exactly what your CM looks like, even when you don't want anymore children! It is a long slippery slope my friend, welcome to the dark side!!!!

LG&T, 35!!!! obviously pregnancy is catching down your way, we might have to move a little bit further south than planned I don't really know how old I thought you were, but with having so many kids, I just assumed you were erm... older I don't know of any websites that are good for TTC'ing, all of my finds I have linked to have come from other threads on MN, though a quick google came up with this, don't really know if it any good or not though. And I am sorry, but I am not brave enough to put EWCM into Google, I'll let you take that particular plunge

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 14:28

Hello agian, should be working but having been away for 5 whole days I am celarly getting MN withdrawl symptons.

Nice to meet all the new members, we are getting a nice big jolly bunch here!

Teuch · 29/01/2008 15:54

just very slightly pissed off - my head is so filled with what-if's that I am totally distracted and DH is getting grumpy with me...

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 15:55

Awww I don't know what to suggest, I can send you some tests if it will get there any quicker than the eBayer ones.

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 15:56

eBay even!

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:06

BB - I know what you mean. Got so broody over weekend. Dont know why but there is something about weddings that make you want to have a family even more. I dont know, it just makes you get all romantic and emotional.

Teuch - I hate ebay too, but its even harder when your waiting for something you really want.

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:18

BB, end of March - OMG, it keeps getting sooner!!!!! Not sure I'll make it till Sept but still trying to if I can .

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 16:20

NJ i am an amateur list maker i wont change it again i promise he he

Teuch, is there no way you can bribe someone to buy you one, or pretend its for one of your animals??? i cldnt stand the wait!!

Playing you are most definately right, just lately the slightest things have been reducing me to tears.... the song "home" by west life, the songn "sunscreen" happy stories sad stories... Im a wreck! x

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:24

BB - well we can all be wrecks together!!

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 16:31

Well, it has to be kept right No I'm kidding, look at all the fuck ups I've made on it!!!

PMSL at 'pretend it is for one of the animals'

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 16:44

he he.. ive just been too the loo and you know my AF was missing in action... now it looks like its made an appearance... which is like 2 weeks late... how very odd!!

I was looking at some lovely baby bits online today, they are so cute, and im so sad

I would seriously concoct some intimate story teuch and say you think a rabbits preggers and your gonna do a test... or perhaps pay a local youth to buy you one he he x

NatalieJane · 29/01/2008 16:49

BB, sorry about AF, explains the crying thing though! I think they say after a MC your AF's can be all over the place, and it can take a good 6 months, maybe longer, to get back under some sort of control.

I nipped into Marks and Spencers whilst in town, just to look at the baby stuff! I am so glad it isn't just me doing stupid things!!

Playingthewaitinggame · 29/01/2008 16:58

We're all doing stupid things here! Its so hard to fight your natural instincts and wait, I think it makes women crazy. Till I cam on here I thought it was just me, now I am convinced it is an epidemic!

BeMyLilBaby · 29/01/2008 17:04

he he it is indeed! im sorta glad AF is still about, cant wait for end of march!!! so of my friend with our goddaughter, she's so happy x
