Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@MO22 no I think that's normal it's still early since your miscarriage and can take a while for everything to settle back down. I think I was bleeding for around 3 weeks. And like u say DTD could have set it off! X

How's everyone getting on?
We didn't DTD last night but had EWCM..still no positive OPK but not really been ding them properly tbf. This am the EWCM seems to have dried up though 😩😩 ( sorry for TMI)..hope we have managed to do it enough this cycle. Will do an OPK properly today now we are home though and see where we are..
How are u getting on @Skl2021 is AF still hanging about? Had a little cry again last night,fear I'm falling down the rabbit hole of TTC again....x

@claremc1983 I'm cd 5 af has just about ended. Don't know when to expect ovulation my body doesn't follow a pattern 🤣🙈 hope your opk goes positive soon 🤞 but I'm sure u will be covered! Yes it's normal we have been through a shit time u need a cry from time to time 🤗 here's a virtual hug! It's a tough journey but we will get there 🤞x

Hi everyone I think AF is going to appear for me very soon, had some very light spotting mixed with cm this morning, was a slight shock to see something since I've not seen any spotting since the end of the MC a couple of weeks ago. It'll be my first AF since the MC so feeling nervous about it but will mark the start of a new cycle and journey!

Thank you @claremc1983 and @Skl2021. What was your first period like? I started spotting on Boxing Day but nothing else has happened since. And I'm getting regular left sided pain too 😩

@Cruz86 mine have been normal surprisingly! Just finished my second af now. I read lots of stories about them being worse but mine weren't! Maybe a bit more clotty but nothing terrible and my first af I didn't get pains like I normally do 🤔 hopefully yours isn't too bad! X

@cruz86 my first af was similar to @skl2021, i was dreading it in case it was "different" to what I was expecting or matched some of those horror stories that Google throws your way at 2am when you can't sleep! But it was pretty normal, maybe sorer cramps then before but I could take ibuprofen and stronger painkillers so it was manageable.

@Tofu35 yes Google is the worst 🙈 some of the horror stories I read I was dreading it! Glad yours was ok! X

Thank you both for the reassurance! Mentally it's difficult enough having to go through it so I'd hate for it to be physically tough too! Hope you're both okay x

Thanks @Skl2021 sending a virtual hug right back at ya..currently taken myself to bed with some lindor! 😆 that's good AF is on the way out...maybe start with the OPKs soon if your cycle isn't regular? That's what I've been doing...xx

@Cruz86 @Sparklesurprise29 my first AF was heavy ish for around 4 days..then had spotting for another 10 days! Seemed to be never ending...saw a bit more lining come away as well. Wasn't particularly painful. Fingers crossed yours are both fine x

Today's OPK finally looks darker, but I wouldn't say it was positive. Feeling crampy. Do OPKs tend to gradually lighten after ovulation or do they go totally negative straightaway? Just wondering if I've already ovulated or not...either way I think we'll DTD next few days 😆 x

Thanks @Skl2021 and @claremc1983, glad AF wasn't too painful! Not too sure re. OPKs but I definitely think regularly DTD can't do any harm to cover a potential window😀
@cruz86 I agree, the thought of really painful AF as well as a lot of bleeding would be a lot to handle just now I think, I could cope with one but not the other😦
A part of me is hoping it could be implantation bleeding but probably more likely to be AF!

I'll prepare for a long af just in case! Thank you @claremc1983. Your opk is likely to still have a faint line after ovulation! I was still doing them up until about 7dpo and it never changed to just one line x

I've also had some spotting @Sparklesurprise29 but it hasn't progressed to anything else. Started 2 days ago and is literally a tiny amount, but lots of cm. I'm starting to wonder about implantation bleeding but we literally dtd once about 11 days ago and I'm not sure if I ovulated then. Before my mc, af would've arrived by now so I'm not sure if it's just different cycle patterns now or it could be more! X

I've been having a lot of cm too @cruz86... Its so difficult when its so unknown! That one time dtd might've done it for you! 💖
Its hard to tell especially when it says online about AF tending to arrive 4-6 post MC. I'm technically on day 29 (first day of MC spotting) which is how long my typical cycle was pre MC so maybe thats a sign that AF wants to start...

@Cruz86 @Sparklesurprise29 did you guys properly finished bleeding from MC with negative test/before AF arrived?

Mine is constantly on and off still, and OPK is saying nothing is happening, so wonder if I'm not yet back to "normal" if I keep spotting?

Sounds like your cycle is exactly like mine @Sparklesurprise29! I'm also on cd29 and af would've arrived by now pre-mc, so I think my body is trying to do what it needs to do as well.

My bleeding stopped fully on the 9th December @MO22 and this is the first bit of spotting I've had since.

And I didn't do opks between then and now so I have no idea if I've actually ovulated or just had lots of ewcm!

@MO22 I think I had about 4/5 days of no bleeding between MC and AF if that helps? X

And no af yet, need to add!

Bizarrely enough @Cruz86 my bleeding also completely stopped by 9th Dec too so we are at a similar stage in terms with waiting on AF☺
@MO22 the bleeding lasted from 29th Nov to 9th Dec, did a preg test on 20th Dec and it was negative - 2 days prior it was still slightly positive. I spotted 7th-9th, I had passed the sac on the 5th💖

How coincidental @Sparklesurprise29!! We'll have to see how in sync our cycles stay 😂 My mc was slightly different though, everything passed on the 30th Nov and then I was bleeding right up until the 9th.

Ahh don't @claremc1983!! 😂 I don't think I will, only because my cycle could be different now and we only dtd once!
