Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@claremc1983 well it took 7 months to get pregnant. Then obviously 3 months I was pregnant and now back to square one! No I'm ttc #3 I have a 8 and 5 year old ❤️ X

@Skl2021 I've told myself I'll give it a year of TTC...will see though 🙈 also trying TTC no 3 xx

@claremc1983 did it take you long to conceive your others? X

@Skl2021 my 2 took around 3 months and this one was in the first month..kind of feel like it was bound to go wrong conceiving that quick..even though i know that's stupid 🙈 x

@claremc1983 my first took 11 months and my second was 1st month so I follow no pattern 🙈 hopefully it happens this month then for you 🤞✨ x

@Skl2021 oh god knows what'll happen...my cycle is all over the place. Need to try and relax I know but I know I'm obsessing already...u never know, next cycle might be yours ✨ xx

@claremc1983 I say that every month 🤣🙈 then I obsess! So hard to switch of isn't it 🤦 I also said I wouldn't use opks but I just can't help myself! X

Hi everyone, hope you're all okay! I've started spotting today which is just under 4 weeks since my miscarriage and the bleeding started. Does this sound unusual? I know it's silly, but it just seems too on time and I thought things would be all over the place to begin with! X

I think a similar thing happened with me @Cruz86 hope everyone had a lovely Christmas? Hope I wasn't the only loon doing OPK's Christmas Day?! 🙈😆 x

Glad you are feeling a bit better today @Skl2021 😘 didn't get the chance to do one today as been out visiting family. EWCM started today so hoping I'm not toooo far off now..x

@claremc1983 yes sounds like your close! You better get to it 🤣🙈 I feel like iv got ages to go now 🙊 this period has been worse than last month's can't wait for it to finish 🤞🙌 x

I've got moist CM from cd 10 when it usually doesn't happen until cd 13/14 so I'm hoping that's a good sign!

@claremc1983 I got a solid smile on the Christmas day OPK, so between Christmas breakfast at the in-laws and Christmas dinner with my family, we went back home so as "not to waste a solid day". Glad we live close enough to family that this was an option

Hi everyone. Just read through the whole thread on the way home from family Christmas! Would like to join if you dont mind, I had a MMC discovered the day before my 12 week scan, baby stopped growing a few days after I heard the hearbeat at a private scan around 9.5 weeks apparently. I had a SMM two weeks ago and had my first negative test thankfully today (so weird that I am happy about that!)

I guess my question is should I start my OPKs straight away? We have DTD twice last week to try and feel a bit more normal post all of this, and just wondering if I should work to my normal cycle timing of ovulation given I havent had a period yet? Or I guess I might not even ovulate this time before AF?

I'm just desperate to get pregnant again, the MMC was my first pregnancy.

@MO22 sorry your joining this group too 😩 it's good that your testing negative so I would start the opks! My ovulation was a week later than normal but not everyone's is some are on time or some don't ovulate at all. If you feel ready then start trying as soon as you want. Good luck ✨🤞 x

Definitely get what you mean about feeling glad about getting a negative, I got mine on monday and it felt like a relief that my body is returning to normal!
I've used OPKs over the past few days, no peak but did have one that looked more positive than the rest (i only tested once a day). I might have ovulated prior to the negative pregnancy test due to ewcm and other symptoms but I didn't have OPKs at that point to test. Its all a bit confusing!

@Tofu35 ha! Love how you managed to squeeze that in...well done! 😆 my OPK's are still negative...and we're home now so best get down to business again later just incase....x

I know what you mean re potentially ovulating prior to the negative test, I did wonder if I was seeing some EWCM a few days ago but I was still bleeding/spotting from the SMM so assumed not... who bloody knows! I'll whack out an OPK tomorrow morning and see I guess.

@Skl2021@claremc1983 thank you for the welcome, nice to not feel so alone. Despite being 34, not many of my friends have children and those that do have never experienced this, so I've had to get all my info online!

@MO22 you never expect it to happen to yourself until it does 💔 it can be a very lonely process and lots of us didn't get the help or support we needed so it's nice to come on here and find people who understand! If you have any questions just ask I'm sure someone will be around to help 💞 x

Is it odd that I am spotting a bit still but have had a negative pregnancy test? We DTD last night so wondering if maybe my cervix is just a bit sensitive given what it's just gone through with the surgery? Surely everything must be flushed out now if I'm getting no HCG picked up?

It's worrying me a tiny bit to be honest...
