Ttc after miscarriage 🤞🌈✨

Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

@claremc1983 ohh absolutely 🙊🥂 IV still got bits to buy 🙈🤣 at least we can enjoy Christmas now and have a few drinks 💃 x

@Skl2021 @claremc1983 Yeah they do....I just feel like for whatever reason that's not the case for us 🤣 I don't know why.

My DP is 44 and I've been off the pill since the May. The only result we got was in October which ended in my chemical, and when I checked back on Flo we had literally DTD for 5 days in a row covering ovulation. AND I'd used PreSeed AND inserted my menstrual cup afterwards.

Just feel like we need to get it right on the money for it to work, you know? But I will hope I'm wrong, or hope that this OPK means ovulation in 36 hours and no sooner, and then hope my egg lives for 24 hours 🤣

It's just so typical isn't it, I never get blazing OPK sticks, I am usually trying to judge whether it's dark enough, but this one is sooo much darker than the control line.

@LittleMysSister I totally get where you are coming from! TTC is such a stressful process....my DH is 43 and I'll be 39 in Jan. I find myself obsessing constantly about TTC even when I'm doing other stuff/trying to keep busy it's constantly on my mind - where I am in my cycle etc. It's just all consuming. Fingers crossed for you this cycle...u never know! I'm sure I read somewhere you should start DTD before you get a really positive OPK. Wishing u so much luck 🍀 xx

@claremc1983 Yeah it definitely does become all-consuming. It's so frustrating you only get one chance a month, it's such a long wait when you miss a chance isn't it?

I just can't believe I am ovulating earlier this month, it's just soooo typical. DP is usually away every other weekend but would normally have been returning home last night...because it's Christmas he left yesterday afternoon and gets back Wednesday morning with his kids, so no chance of DTD until they're in bed and it will be too late for my egg by then!

If I'd have known it was going to happen earlier than usual I would have DTD more in the run up, as it is I think it might have only been once this week, which was yesterday 😒 I thought Christmas Eve and Christmas Day would be the key dates this month.

Annoying.

@LittleMysSister it really is incredibly frustrating....we have to try stay positive though, which is easier said than done. I need to stop obsessing as well......😬...wishing that baby dust right back at you ✨...xx

This might be a stupid question but do you count the spotting at the end of your period as your period or not? X

@claremc1983 Hmm I tend to only count the days when I actually need to use protection, especially at the end when it's just tailing off.

Hi everyone if I'm getting EWCM but negative ovulation tests does this mean I'm not yet ovulating
Finding it all so confusing trying to calculate when my potential period will come, is a new cycle technically from the start of MC bleeding, when its happened or when all bleeding has stopped?
Had such a regular cycle before this, its so annoying that all my period tracker apps are wrong and desperate for my to log (what they think) is a very late period
Any insights would be handy

@Sparklesurprise29 I would count the bleeding the start of a new cycle but I don't know about ovulation on that cycle as I never wanted to try straight away

You would class CD1 when you first noticed blood no matter how small or little the amount. Its very likely You will ovulate later than usual so keeping using your opk's twice a day. I ovulated CD18 from the first day of my miscarriage 3 days later than usual BUT I find the month before when I conceived which I'm putting down to the prednacare I was taking. Good luck I'm dure your peak isn't far away.

Has anyone had any reasons given for their miscarriage/s? Just curious as I'm so anxious ttc and convinced there has to be a reason for it.

10 dpo today and bfn again 😩 definitely think I'm out and getting period pains. Was looking forward to a Christmas bfp 😭 need to switch off it's taking over my life!! X

@Hopingforarainbow27 Not a definite answer but when I had my scan they told me the baby had swelling around the head/chest area which indicated a genetic problem...x

@Skl2021 so sorry to hear that...😞 hope you are ok? I was feeling really hopeful for you. You are right, it 💯 takes over your life and becomes all consuming xx

Thanks @Jayjane79, hopefully!! Trying to keep positive that the ewcm is a sign my body is gearing up to ovulate at some point, first day of bleeding would make CD1 for me 29/11. Might use an opk this evening and see if theres any change

@hopingforarainbow27 I haven't but it happened at 8w 3d, after seeing the heartbeat at 7w2d, I've put it down to abnormality of the fetus or something placental as I was measuring a week behind, I'll never know though

@skl2021 so sorry :( its not over until AF comes so still keeping my fingers crossed for you

@Hopingforarainbow27 for me they thought the miscarriage was a partial molar pregnancy where 2 sperm fertilise the egg rather than one so would never have lived past 14 weeks.

Hey everyone, looking to join this group. Had a miscarriage (10 weeks) in early November, waited to start TTC until I'd had my period (so weird actually wanting AF to appear!) and now we're starting TTC again.

Before my miscarriage I was trying for 2 years, so I'm hoping our next BFP isn't another 2 years away!

@claremc1983 I'm trying but inside I'm broken 😩 trying to hold it all together but I just want to break down and cry. I'm getting awful pains and bit of spotting when I wipe so definitely think I'm out. I'm only 10 dpo so if it is af then it's early! Such a hard journey. X

@claremc1983 I doubt it never had it with my other pregnancies. It just takes over your life! I'm always wishing time away to the next point of my cycle. So fed up! How are you doing xx
