Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

I did a cheapie pregnancy test yesterday - I know there is a faint line but could this be an evap? Or does this indicate I still have hcg in my system? Really hoping my hcg levels have went down enough so I can ovulate again...
Any insights would be great!

Yes you definitely still have HCG in your system BUT you can still ovulate to straight away after a MC with detectable HCG in your system. I think this is why they suggest waiting a cycle to try again only because of dates. J havnt naughty me lol currently 6dpo.

Thanks for your reply @Jayjane79, luckily one nurse I talked to after my MC basically said its safe to dtd as long as you've stopped bleeding so took that as a green light to try again!
Very glad I can still ovulate even with hcg, how did you figure out your dpo? Previously I just went with what my clue app predicted from my cycles and it worked out

Thanks for your reply *@Jayjane79*, luckily one nurse I talked to after my MC basically said its safe to dtd as long as you've stopped bleeding so took that as a green light to try again! Very glad I can still ovulate even with hcg, how did you figure out your dpo? Previously I just went with what my clue app predicted from my cycles and it worked out

My pregnancy tests went negative before my bleeding stopped so my opk's were negative to pretty much straight away. Which made it easier to detect my peak. I will add a picture show you from my premom app. I have no symptoms and 6dpo not feeling very hopeful.

We’ve been trying to conceive since March and had a chemical pregnancy in October which was completely devastating and I’m still trying to process it. Thought this was my month as a few days late but got my period today and just feel a bit deflated.

I hope it’s ok to join the thread, I know I haven’t been trying for very long and my loss was very early compared to others

I have also recently found out that a friend is pregnant and due at the exact time I would have been so that’s going to be really hard.

@claremc1983 hey how u doing? IL attach a pic of my tests top was yesterday tea time and bottom was this morning. There is definitely lines on them but I'm sure there evaps 🙈 cheapo tests!! Xx

Thanks for that @Jayjane79, will download that app! Bought some opks off amazon, I'll do a pg test in a few days and if its negative I'll start on the opks a couple of days later.
Its bizarre that I'm still testing positive when I don't feel pregnant and haven't bled for over a week shows how weird the body can be

@Cruz86 it’s so painful isn’t it. I’m finding it hard letting go of what could have been. I would have been 14 weeks. You should treat yourself tomorrow, no matter how big or small x

@Skl2021 eek!! That's exciting...they have colour to them so might not be evaps?! See what tomorrow's tests are like..
Yeah am good, just back to the UK today. AF has been a weird one...just spotting today, normally it lasts a good 7 days..xx

@claremc1983 yes I don't trust these tests 🤦 we will see 🤞 oh no welcome back to the cold 🤣 hmm maybe your body is still not back to normal? It's weird how it affects it so much. Has it just been spotting? X

Anyone else scared to get pregnant again after miscarriage? I've had 2 and all my bloods are ok so all I can think is that it's going to happen again

@Hopingforarainbow27 I'm petrified of it happening again! Currently in the tww and although I desperately want to be pregnant I'm also terrified if I am 🤦 such a weird feeling to want something but be afraid of it ,🤔 x

Aw it really is horrible! I'm dreading it but also want it too then I think maybe I'm not meant to have children. It's a real rollercoaster

@Skl2021 oh no really?? Did u use the same cheapies? Hope u are ok? I've tested today and it's finally totally negative...I'm pleased as mean we can get on withTTC however it's a scary thought starting all over again XX

@claremc1983 yes I used the same cheapies and a frer. I caved 😩🙈 don't have much hope now. Oh well at least that's good news 🎉 fresh start! I was so happy when I finally seen that negative test after weeks of faint positives! X

@Skl2021 oh rubbish...but remember you're not out till AF shows...it's still v early days! Yes happy but also secretly hoped I'd fall when we DTD when we weren't supposed to....x

@claremc1983 af should be here in 4 days I think so not long to go just before Christmas 🤦 not what I need 🙈 yes I think you do secretly hope it happens but I'm trying not to get my hopes up! Need to concentrate on Christmas now 🤣 need to start wrapping 🙌 x

Arghhh I'm so pissed off, been doing OPKs & CB OPK and they have both gone positive today....the one time when my DP isn't back home until Wednesday night 😩

We DTD yesterday but looks like we'll be missing the opportunity this month, ffs. It's only CD13 for me and I normally don't ovulate until around CD17/18 so it's just bloody typical isn't it.

@LittleMysSister you should be ok if you DTD yest. Don't they say sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days? X
