Just a thread for any ladies ttc after a miscarriage! Nice to get some support from people going through the same thing. So I had a MMC at ten weeks nearly three weeks ago now. I'm still getting faint positive on tests. My ovulation tests are still all over the place possibly due to the HCG still being in my system. So not totally accurate right now. So I'm currently stuck in limbo land either waiting for ovulation or my period 🤔 any ladies want to join the journey?!?!

Ahh I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling mixed thoughts because of timings! I felt terrible saying it because there are people struggling to fall pregnant and would happily have a baby whatever month of the year, but I just couldn't help thinking about it.

My boy starts school in September too @claremc1983. The thought of navigating that and birth/a newborn really stresses me out. But I really want to be pregnant again 😩

@LittleMysSister mine was a July baby too. I was so excited to have a Summer baby 😞

@Cruz86 I know!! I could just imagine the due date being on the first day of term...will u TTC regardless now then or still undecided!? It's so difficult..I think we'll start again once AF is out the way...just need my tests to show negative now as well x

Oh don't, that would be the last thing we need @claremc1983 😂 I think I'll probably just see what happens, no tracking ovulation etc. If it happens, it happens. What are you thinking of doing? I haven't taken a test yet, I'm too scared about what it'll do to me mentally when I see a negative 😞 x

@Cruz86 Yes totally agree, don't know if I'm being stupid to even give it a second thought tbh since it took me 5 months to even get a bfp at all so not really sure I've got the luxury of being so picky. It would mean I only have Dec, Jan and Feb to get a positive before I have to stop for 2 months

But it genuinely would be so difficult for us to have another birthday around that time of year. Plus my sister's birthday is January and she has always hated it, and it's such a pain in the arse for everyone else in terms of trying to buy her a gift/wanting to go out to celebrate, it really is the worst time to have a birthday. I'd take December if it wasn't for one of my SCs having their birthday then, at least it's a cheery month.

Tbh I didn't really think it would take long enough to become an issue :( I specifically waited until May to come off my pill in order to rule out Dec/Jan birthdays and looks like it's come back to bite me as I can't imagine I'll get a bfp over the next couple of months tbh.

@claremc1983 do you think it's af then? Or has it stopped? X

@Skl2021 It's quite intense so must be AF. Just find it weird that it was only a week after ovulation..how u getting on?? Annoyingly I'll be fertile when we're staying at my parents for Christmas. Can't be getting jiggy under their roof 😂🙈 x

@claremc1983 sorry to hear that! But look new cycle new start 🤞 yes maybe it's just your body settling! Weird things happen after miscarriage hopefully your cycle goes back to normal now. I'm doing ok but it's getting harder as the days go on I will crack soon 🤣🙊 hahah what timing! You will have to be super quiet 🤣🙈😉 how's the holiday going? X

Looool this is the same for me...will either be at my PIL's or my parent's house when I am ovulating by the looks of it! Bloody typical.

My AF also arrived a week after I got my static smiley, wondering whether that was the 2nd surge people sometimes mention before AF rather than true ovulation. Who knows.

@Skl2021 ha ha I know!!! Soooo awks..having a great time thanks! Weathers been amazing so far..spa day tomorrow. Parents are out with us do babysitting tonight so we can go out. Glad u are ok.are u holding out til day 7?? X

@LittleMysSister 😂😂😂 it's such awkward timing!! Oh that's interesting....maybe it was that then. I just hope me retained pregnancy tissue disappears with this AF x

@claremc1983 is it bad that I caved today 🙈🙄🤣 yes I know pointless!!! I have some sort of problem 🙊 I need the tests put of the house!!! Aww that's nice enjoy it! And a spa day sounds lovely 😍 could just do with one!

I just wanted some opinions really, this is my first month TTC after the miscarriage. Do you think that’s just an evap line or can you even see a line!? I think I’m just kidding myself I can see something

@BigAlice I can definitely see a line but it looks too thin of a line. IV seen alot of false positives where the line is thin. I would test with another brand! How many dpo are you? X

@Skl2021 thanks for your response, I think you’re right…..it’s too thin isn’t it. I’m like 13 dpo so a positive would be properly showing now wouldn’t it! I don’t know why I kid myself 😂😂

@BigAlice you never know! Have you any other tests? Don't count yourself out completely yet! It's horrible when you get dodgy tests that get your hopes up ✨ x

@Skl2021 I have got anymore tests at home, so think I will pop to the shops tonight and get one for the morning…..maybe splash out on a better brand! I’ll let you know how I get on

@BigAlice I defo see that but it is strangely thin. I don't trust CB I go for FRER. Good luck!

It's really hard trying to think practically vs what your heart wants isn't it @LittleMysSister 😞 When did you miscarry? Was it recently?

We've decided that we're not going to worry about when we dtd and if it happens, it happens. But if not, in March I'll start using opks again x
