My dd is 11 months old and we have decided that now is the time for number 2! My daughter took 18 months to conceive with a mmc in between, so I'm expecting a long journey. This is my first month and I'm on cd4.

@CBB2021 I love how first cycle were all like oh yeh just gonna be casual. An by cycle 2 were like wtf why am I not pregnant?! 🤣

Can’t cope. I’ve done opks this month but this is cycle 4 for me. Wanted to just check we are getting the right time. Which I got a static smiley today so we are..just nice to have it confirmed.

TTC#2 this will be our first cycle trying, our little one is 15 months old. Currently on cd 5.
Hoping this is a lucky month for all of us!

Like you say it’s good to get the confirmation that you’ve got your timings right and you’ve got the best chance! I think with TTC#2 you expect to follow a similar pattern to that of your first but we all know it doesn’t work like that!

Urgh I’ve already ovulated this month so got to wait ages to actually start! Never mind 😂

@Goodgoodthings my friend who is due her second later this year said she didn't have the time to focus on the tww the same as the first because she was too busy with her toddler. Conceived much quicker second time.

@Hullabaloowho we only want two so it seems sad that my pregnancies will all be subject to covid times but that's assuming I fall pregnant soon I guess.

@GreenFlipFlop good luck for this cycle! My fertile week begins on Saturday and I'm thinking about the lost sleep when my daughter has only just started sleeping through 😂.

@Indianna2006 Sorry about your mmc. I had one in my first pregnancy and it then took me 8 months to conceive my dd, much like your 7 months so expecting it to take time again.

Currently TTC #2 we started last night even though I'm only on CD8 and I ovulate around CD17/18. I have a nearly 8month old boy. Wondering if I'm crazy 😅 but #1 took 18months to conceive so I'm not expecting it to happen quickly! Not back to work to January so if it happens before im back my work is gonna hate me 🤣

@PartyPotato 8month old here on the 31st? I wonder too if we are crazy 🤣🤣

@whatsthecraic91 we might just be, our current babies have obviously lulled us into a false sense of security 😂

@Chanel05 really hope that logic works for me too! Still no AF over here and got a lovely sinus infection right now so hoping that doesn't have too much of an effect on it all 🥲

@PartyPotato you have a good sleeper too then? Our boy has been an absolute dream! He currently does 6-6. Also he got 2 teeth at 5months and I didn't even know until my mum told me. He's just the best baby 😂

@whatsthecraic91 hiya, no that's fine! Welcome ☺️ well I have long cycles thanks to breastfeeding and PCOS so pretty sure I'm 14dpo but def not pregnant. Think waiting for my period makes it even later in my experience 🤦‍♀️ can't wait for cycle to start so I can get cracking but I'm getting comfy in these TTC forums as I have a feeling I'll be here for a while.

Congrats on your super sleeper, please feel free to share your secrets as my 14mo has literally never slept through the night 💀

@Goodgoodthings well done on keeping the BFing up. I found it so hard! I lasted about 6weeks. There's nothing worse than waiting on AF when TTC. Long cycles are annoying too! I'm very thankful my AF has come back consistently but cycle has been anything from 26-34 days. 34day one I thought I was preggo 😅

I have no secret he just does it 😅 put him in the cot and walk away 🤣

@whatsthecraic91 thank you, though feel I got really lucky and it was always easy/comfortable for us! She now only has it at night time which is clearly related to not sleeping through, but we're working on that!

Isn't it amazing how we're all so different!? Keeps us on our toes I guess. I've been drinking turmeric tea which apparently helps regular cycles 🤔 I'll try anything at this point.

@whatsthecraic91 yeah he’s always been a fab sleeper. 11-12 hours a night. He’s fairly laid back and low maintenance. Although going through a fussy phase now with teething plus frustration that he can’t always get what he wants haha

@Goodgoodthings it's maybe the BF making your cycles out of whack. I read something about eating pineapple can help with cycles.

Just got my flashing smiley on Clear Blue so my chances start now! Planning to DTD every day until 2 days after static? That should surely cover it right? Hoping this will be our month, only cycle 2 and fed up of the waiting already 😂

@wegoagain that's defo more than enough! I've said I'm going to be super chill this time as I was crazed with #1, I give it a month until im doing OPKs & temping 😂

My cycle has been all over since returning too. I was BF to 13 months but AF came back at 7 months and since then has been anywhere between 22-28 days but feels like it's gradually getting shorter... Also waaay heavier than before

Like @whatsthecraic91 I'm trying to play it cool with TTC. About to apply for a job in the North East (all our family are there) which would mean a major relocation, house sale etc so actually a few months delay might be in our favour. But it took us 12 months last time including an ectopic so don't want to wait too long, and I've started to feel so broody at all things newborn... I give myself a month before the OPKs too. In fact, I'm already wondering whether I have some left over from last time.

HOWEVER I definitely ovulated mon-tues last week. I had loads of EWCM which I only get without fail when I ovulate. So how could I get my period now?
We DTD when I was ovulating, but we used protection. It can’t possibly be implantation bleeding… right???

Fingers crossed it's implantation bleeding. It would make sense with your dates? I've had what I think is that but only when I did a cervical mucus check. It's stopped now. Holding out to test. Good luck to you! Xx

@caz198917 I mean if it is that would be great but we weren’t TTC last week, we only decided this week. So would be mad if we had managed to get pregnant by accident 😆 I’ll see how the bleeding goes, it’s still light.
