Hello,
I couldn't see a thread for ladies trying for baby no 2, so I thought I'd start one.
I'm nearing the end of cycle 3, 12DPO today, AF due on Wednesday. Having all sorts of symptoms that I don't usually get.
My first LO turned 2 a couple of months ago.

Haha yeah, he's not long started there and he works for my dad so best not to distract him 😂
Ahh yeah I will thank you. I'm going to test again at lunch time just to be doubly sure! Haha but I will call asap.

@coles85 are the chemical last month I was hoping to wait until a couple days after AF due but who knows I'm already symptom spotting eyeroll! how you feeling? x

@EJLM ah yes of course, makes sense you'd want to leave it until after AF is due. Hopefully you'll get your BFP too!

@coles85 I'm just a little concerned as I took another FRER this morning and the line was lighter than yesterdays. I'll have to do another and keep an eye on it.

@MamaSJ15 oh that's such a stress, I can see why you'd be worried. Definitely continue to test over the next few days.

I don't want to minimise your concern, because I'd be the same, but there are lots of things that can cause the line to appear a bit lighter so try not to worry too much. You're right to keep testing though, fingers crossed your test later is back to the same strength as yesterday. 🤞

Did you tell your DP last night?

@Indianna2006 it's insane! I did another clearblue at lunch, still positive but I little lighter than yesterday so a bit concerning but I'll test again tomorrow.

So the progression is going backwards, think it may be a chemical...
Top one was yesterday morning, middle was this morning and bottom was tonight

@MamaSJ15 oh no hopefully not! Does look like it’s getting fainter doesn’t it.
But this afternoon could be because of not FMU but I don’t have much experience of that. And knowing if it gets darker quickly and how quick.

I think everyone is different. All you can do is test again morning. As 2 days from your first test should then be darker using FMU I’d presume.

Even when we get a line amount of tests we continue to take…I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you hun xx

Oh @MamaSJ15 I really hope not 🤞 like @Indianna2006 said, take another one first thing and see how it looks.

@Indianna2006 @coles85 lighter again today, I'm putting it down to a chemical. After a fairly strong positive, I think any time of day would give you an accurate result, especially based on the fact that I had already peed 3 times on the first day I tested!
As previously mentioned, my head was a bit all over the place with us just having had a discussion about putting it on hold for a bit. I just need a definite answer now. I need to see either a stronger line or a complete negative. Will test again in a day or two and hopefully I'll have my answer x

I'm so sorry if it is a chemical @MamaSJ15 - especially after such an emotional rollercoaster. I guess keep testing and see how it goes over the next day or two. It can't be easy having it on your mind.

Do you think you'll still continue to put TTC on hold if it is a chemical?

@coles85 Thank you, I feel okay about it I think. I have been a bit messed up the last few days, I just want a definite answer now!
Yes I think we will to be honest. I'm thinking it's a sign that now isn't the right time.

Sounds like you're handling it really well @MamaSJ15 and I think sometimes just the clarity of making a decision can feel like a weight lifted. I hope you get some resolution really soon so you know either way 🤞

Thanks @coles85 I feel like I've had a lot going on this week and I was feeling a bit lost with all the uncertainty. I have ordered more frer tests to arrive tomorrow so I'll do another test tomorrow and I'm hoping that will be able to give me a more definite answer. I don't see it going any other way though with the tests getting lighter. X

@MamaSJ15 I'm so sorry :( this is what happened to me which is why I want to try and wait at least 5 days to test this month its a heartache isn't it! xx

@EJLM we're you bleeding too or just the lines getting fainter? I was bleeding before I tested and still am, not heavy or anything. I did a clearblue digital today that said 1-2 weeks but it should be at least 2-3 by now. I'm waiting for a call from the docs x

@MamaSJ15 my lines got fainter first then I started bleeding the next day. I have everything crossed all is ok for you. xx

@ejlm Ah right okay. I've had a call from someone at the docs (not a doctor) who just said the doctor wants me to take another test early next week and update them with the result. And just said if I get clinically ill over the weekend (temperature and what not), to either call out of hours or go to a&e. How is that supposed to make me feel any better?
