Hello,
I couldn't see a thread for ladies trying for baby no 2, so I thought I'd start one.
I'm nearing the end of cycle 3, 12DPO today, AF due on Wednesday. Having all sorts of symptoms that I don't usually get.
My first LO turned 2 a couple of months ago.
Look forward to hearing others' stories 😊

Sorry @Laureatus I didn't mean to worry you or suggest you had that - just that there's probably a reason and the GP will be able to advise. Its probably nothing but worth asking.

Are you hanging on to test @MamaSJ15? I hope I have your resolve this month!

@SLT90 it's horrid isn't it?! I do think colds are just the worst. I'm sure feeling grotty won't affect implantation, women get pregnant in all kinds of awful health situations. Fingers crossed to you this month!

What do folks do about ov tests and needing to drink a lot? I do the CB ones with FMU but am slightly 🤔 as to their accuracy and was planning to do the easy@home ones in the later afternoon but I can't hold it for longer than a couple of hours!

@darcey87 yes I'm planning on waiting till Friday to test if AF hasn't shown. But I'm usually bang on 28 days which will be Thursday.

hi ladies hope everyone had a lovely weekend - I think I'm well into my fertile week now I haven't done ovulation tests but just based on my app and my body. aiming for every other day or every day if we can I have also woken up with a cold this morning so hopefully that doesn't affect things to much. I think I will wait until after I'm 5 days late this month after last month chemical. is anyone due to test soon?

Good luck for your fertile week @EJLM. Have fun!! Do you think you'll be able to 5 days past AF due? I'm hoping to hold out till the day after it's due this cycle, but couldn't go 5! Fair play if you manage it! Sorry to hear about your chemical last cycle.

@MamaSJ15 well I don't think so with my first we were just seeing what happens and I didn't even realise I was a week late so found out at about 6 weeks pregnant. last month I tested 5 days before and got positive and kept testing every day so I will do well to wait but that's what I'm telling myself at the moment lol!

@MamaSJ15 I’m due AF on Thursday too…tempted to test as 11dpo today. But know I should hold out. Sigh lol

I’ve been super patient this 2ww and tried not to look at my app or on here too much.

I know if I test early and it’s negative I’ll be grumpy until AF shows. Once it comes I almost get over it an just think about next month.

Couldn’t help but test… BFN. Eugh. Keep telling myself could be too early still.

But both other times I’ve been pregnant (mc) and my dd I had a positive by 12dpo.

@Indianna2006 sorry you got a bfn, but you're right, it could still be too early.
I literally had a test in my hand yesterday evening and I had to talk myself out of testing! I'll only be disappointed if it's negative then just waiting for AF to arrive. I'd rather just wait till it's due and not waste a test. My luteal phase is quite short so I don't have the 14 days between ovulation and AF. I'm possibly 9 or 11 dpo today, couldn't 100% pinpoint ovulation.

@MamaSJ15 yes my luteal phase isn’t 14 dpo either. Normally 12 dpo.

Tested again this morning with a FRER. Couldn’t of been more blank. 12DPO today so my period will come tomo but expecting it now.

Had my moan to husband this morning. Onto cycle 4 🙄…

Fingers crossed for you! Anyone else due to test soon?

Sorry to hear about the BFN @Indianna2006 but you never know, it's not over until AF arrives. I'll keep everything crossed for you anyway!! And if AF arrives tomorrow then I have a feeling cycle 4 will be your lucky one x

@MamaSJ15 still no AF is a good sign. It's still quite early too, test might not have picked it up yet. Did you test first thing? Still keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

Sorry about the bfns @Indianna2006 and @MamaSJ15 - if you ov'd later could you be only 11DPO and still in? Has AF arrived yet both?

Unfortunately I've been so ill this week we haven't DTD once in my fertile period, and going by last cycle I should ov on Sunday. My ov tests are still decidedly negative, my clear blue says high, I have no EWCM 🤷‍♀️ I wonder if perhaps due to being ill ov will be delayed or I'm getting a 28 day cycle instead of 26.

We are going to try to DTD today even though I still feel quite rotten.

@coles85 Yeah it was first thing. I'm hoping it's just early. I naively assumed if AF was late and i was pregnant that it would show straight away, but I guess it's possible that I'm only 11dpo today... (its either 11 or 13 based on when I think I ovulated).

@darcey87v2 welcome back! AF hasn't arrived yet, I'm hoping its just too early. but time will tell! Sorry you've been feeling rotten this cycle, its not ideal over fertile week is it?!

@MamaSJ15 aww man! Still a chance tho could be too early seeing as you’re not sure. That blank test is just crap tho isn’t it.

AF arrived this morning for me so onto Cycle 4.
Hope some of you other testing ladies have more luck xx
