TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

Sorry second peak CD26, on CD29 now!

God knows I've just done a clear blue faint line but I'm still so unsure it did come up within time frame but I just don't trust any tests lol with the reputation of evaps

That's great! My pregnancy with DD didn't show until 13DPO. I'm currently 8DPO, and all FRERs have been negative so far! So I'm trying not to lose hope as I know it's still early. You were definitely right when you could see a shadow yesterday!

Was another negative this morning! 9DPO. Time drags so badly when TTC doesn't it.

Agh still early days @MrsRosaline but you're right the wait is painful!!! I'm 10dpo but holding out until my period is due next week if at all possible!

@jkm2793 can I ask did your stretchy mucus continue or has it settled?! I'm just asking as I had some last weekend but nothing since....x

There was quite a bit after ovulation for a few days then hardly anything but when I was checking my cervix I would get a tiny bit of mucus that was stretchy not tacky at all xx

Hey @LittleDoveLove how are you doing? Another negative for me at 10DPO ☹️ Whenever I look online I can see that most women do get positives by now.

Having said that, in 2017 I took a test on 10DPO and it was negative. Then 13DPO it was positive. Who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

What day are you going to test @newtolineofduty ? My period is due Tuesday/Wednesday and I'm starting to think I should've just waited until then, rather then seeing negatives every morning!!

@MrsRosaline I wondered how you'd got on this morning. Sorry to hear that. My cycles used to be 28 days so that'd mean period due weds, but my last couple of cycles have been longer (30/32) so I'm going to try and hold out until Friday. I asked DP to hide my pregnancy tests last night as I was getting tempted! But I just figured there's no point testing as if it's negative I wouldn't be able to trust it yet! Xx

You're so right! I've gone totally the other way and keep buying more. Perhaps I should get DH to hide mine too 😂

My period is due on weds if it's a 28 day cycle but not until next Sunday if it's a 32 day cycle like last time, so I know it's early BUT I'm 12dpo so I'd have thought there'd be enough hcg in my system if I was pregnant to pick it up? Or does it not work like that?! I guess it depends when implantation occurred? X

Hi @MrsRosaline yes on my first pregnancy I think I was about 12 DPO on the positive. I'm pretty sure it didn't show up at 10.

I'm doing ok thank you, I've been off alcohol and very bloated but I think it could be the heat rather than anything else as is a bit early for anything. I'm not expecting a positive really with the surge confusion but will see, I've still kept on with the sticks to follow the cycle to the end for my own research!

@newtolineofduty it can widely vary depending on when you think ovulation happened, when it actually happened and when implantation might have happened. So it's difficult to get the dates spot on and everyone's body is unique, so some eggs will implant 6DPO, some 12 etc.

I am also 11DPO today, and so far they have all been negative. ☹️ I'd like to think I can wait until period is actually due but I'll probably be testing again tomorrow morning 😂

I've had what looks like the start of my period this morning, some red blood, so I've no idea what's going on with my cycle 😢. Can't have been a second peak if it's my period now as only 6 days after it.
