TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

I think I'm going to test on Friday (18th) because I have a dentist appointment that day and I'd quite like to know if I am - if it's possible to know! I'll only be 9DPO so I know it's probably too early.

I had some cervical mucus today which was white, creamy. I think that's a bad sign. Although like you @newtolineofduty I've been having pinchy cramps lower down since 3DPO. I am 5DPO today. The wait it sooooo long!

@MrsRosaline my friend is 8 weeks pregnant and she said it's only very recent her mucus has changed she said in between ovulation and getting her BFP her mucus was still tacky which I suppose every women is different we can't count ourselves out until AF shows up! I've bought some first response tests which should come tomorrow I wanted to hold off but I know I won't be able too so I'll prob end up testing tomorrow which will be 9dpo for me too I hope you get your bfp Friday xx

@jkm2793 I bought the clearblue ones. Both stated you could test 6 days in advance. I wonder if there is any difference between them!? In the end I went for clearblue because I used the clearblue OPKS so just knew the brand 🤷🏻‍♀️

Aw well let us know how you get on I don't know the difference between them in all honesty.

I've been doing some reading online and think I will also buy first response! Those seem to be the best/most popular...

Well you can always use the clear blue closer to period can't you if they aren't as sensitive.

@MrsRosaline I bought 2 packs of first response so 4 tests for 11.99 which so I'll just test once a day from tomorrow x

Finally got my second peak! Hurrah. TWW for me starts tomorrow I think. Cycle day 26 🙄

Yay great news you have your second peak! I know what the wait soooooo long I wish it was 2 days and not 2 weeks haha x

Haha I know it feels like ages doesn't it! @jkm2793 I don't have a drink in the TWW either - just in case , so can't even relax with a wine whilst I wait! 😂

Has anyone else been having weird dreams? I haven't really dreamt a lot since having DD 3 years ago, but since Sunday I've been having the strangest dreams. It could just be that I'm knackered and sleeping more deeply....

@MrsRosaline so sorry I must have missed this. I have dreams that a remember every morning so it's not a different symptom for me but people do say vivid dreams was a sign for them early pregnancy!!! X

Right girls I have just done a frer there was very faint line within 3 mins but it's that faint I can't tell if it's evap or a faint positive (with colour)! I heard so many people lately get evap within the 3 minutes :(

I always thought if it came up within the time frame it was a positive! Guess you can always do it again in the morning. I also did a cheapie 'early response' one and it was definitely negative!

I don't know if you can see the pic or even the faint line on it but I can't tell if it's an indent

Hmm I'm not sure. There might be a shadow of something. I'd test again with FMU. How many DPO are you?

Yes i know it's hard to know I think it's evap to be fair even though it came up within 3 mins even before that. I know if you take it apart the test is void but the line didn't darken when I took it out I took a picture and discarded it but this is it out the monitor.

Yeh I can see the line that you are talking about! Do it again in the morning and update us.

Ahhh I've got so long to go and you're all doing tests, exciting!
