TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

Had 2 days of no face after the peak ones then i have a flashing one again. This is the second month it's happened now 😢

@LittleDoveLove oh how confusing. Are you monitoring your whole cycle then? I never new two surges was such a thing! I stop testing after the first peak so I'd never know if I had a second! X

@feliznavidad2 yes it's very normal to ovulate on different days! And hormone levels fluctuate cycle to cycle. So sometimes you might have a stronger (or weaker) LH surge.

My ovulation is confirmed as yesterday, Wednesday. Would you still DTD tonight!?

I POAS this morning at 10DPO and got a BFN. Bit disappointed though but will try again tomorrow.

Just out of curiosity does everyone actually pee on the stick or pee into a jug and dip the stick?

@MrsRosaline do you class the day of ovulation as the day you got a peak, or the day after (given it's supposed to have 12-36 hours after a peak)?

I had my peak and significant cm on Tuesday so I'm hoping I ovulated that day as we managed to DTD that night but not last night 😳🤦‍♀️😭

I do OPKS but also BBT. So I can see that I ovulated yesterday because of the temp drop!

Can anyone explain temping to me over your cycle so does your temp drop when you ovulate or does it drop? Xx

Your temp drops just before ovulation and then it increases and usually stays up until end of cycle! I'll attach a pic of mine.

Does it stay high until you start your period then ? X

Yeah normally; it does for me anyway. And then it should drop again just before your period comes.

@newtolineofduty i only knew because it happened to me a couple of months ago when I was tracking and I got some EWCM and thought that was strange so did a it was another peak. So I have been tracking after yes as you can have multiple surges.

I get confused by the temping how do you know day 16 was peak when day 13 was lower? @MrsRosaline

It couldn't have been day 13 because I didn't have 3 days of a higher temperature afterwards! The peak reading was a clearblue test.

So on day 16 I had a temperature dip, followed by multiple days of higher temps, plus a peak clearblue which tells me that that must have been ovulation day!

So do you only know the peak after it's passed if you don't do an ovulation test? I still get confused by this 😂 it all looks retrospect to me. I just wake up to much to be able to track like this but it really interests me!

Yeah, you can have a good prediction of when ovulation is but you can't exactly pinpoint it until it's passed!

After ovulation do you get lots of thick mucus or does mucus disappear after ovulation? X

@jkm2793 I don't have any but I think if you do it supposedly goes thicker/stickier as opposed to it being very wet like it is during ovulation xx

If you were to have conceived would CM increase straight away after ovulation or after implantation? X

@jkm2793 I'm with you on the symptom spotting-I've been googling 3DPO symptoms today and I promised myself I wouldn't!!!!! X

Does anyone know if stomach cramps are a sign of anything. I would be 2DPO and got weird stomach cramps this evening ... 😬
