TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

Just tested - it's static! 🎉

Random question, but how long do you stay lying still afterwards? I've been waiting about 30 mins but since having DD I always seem to need the toilet not long afterwards ...

I never knew it was a thing till the other week and I thought oh I always go for a wee after haha but they do say you should lie down after DTD not sure how long for but I have just been trying to for about half an hour haha not sure if it's actually meant to work x

I will remember this for next go! Is hard to lie down when have a 2 year old though I agree!

It's definitely a thing!! Just hard to do.

That's great @MrsRosaline! I got a static this morning too after just one day of flashing! And got plenty of CM today! DTD last night but will hopefully have time tonight before I go out with friends!

I lie down afterwards if possible-last night I even put a pillow under my hips hehe x not sure how much it helps!? X

Same here @newtolineofduty we DTD last night but not this morning so will definitely go again tonight....

Haha we don't usually (ever)! But we did yesterday morning because I told my DH to set an early alarm 😂

Like I say, he reaaaally wants another baby! Just got to get DD1 to bed first...

I think 16/17th June would be 10DPO for me. So I will wait till then and try first response! Fingers crossed for us all xx

Hi ladies!!!! So managed to DTD tonight on second attempt! 😳 x

So today was my first static smiley-so would tomorrow be 1DPO? Or the day after?

Wondering if We should try tomo too!?

My period would be due 23rd June if it's 28 days but last cycle was 30 so going to try and hold out until 26th June!

I really want to avoid testing early-I'd rather not know if I've had a very early miscarriage xxx

I would do tomorrow too if you can as can be anything up to around 48 hours I think from static one depending when you catch it. The more the better they say!

@newtolineofduty My understanding is that from the first peak reading, ovulation happens 12-36 hours later. I'd definitely try again today! My period is also due 22 June; we can be testing buddies! You raise a good point about the early miscarriages.
