Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

I'd be tempted to test again in the morning if your period isn't there....!

@newtolineofduty well normally I'm a 27 day cycle and have been for years. Currently on 34 as I ovulated late. So app predicted Friday for AF🤷🏻‍♀️ used CB 2 minute test 🙄

@Aims1991 how reliable are those ones If taken early? Xxx

I'd get a FRER if poss if you want to test early again or wait and test on Friday with the CB again xx

@Aims1991 I agree, try a FRER.

I don't think this one is going to stick for me. Lines darkening on FRER but my symptoms disappeared since yesterday. And my RHR has taken a nose dive on Fitbit chart also. Not feeling hopeful.

Wish i hadn't started testing so early. But I'd want to know either way anyway!

@QueenLagertha I wouldn't stress. When I was pregnant with DD all I checked was the pregnancy test. Checking all these other symptoms can drive you mad! Like progression looks good.

Thank you @MrsRosaline. My head is completely fried. Plus DS got his pre school jabs yesterday and woke with a fever at 5am.

I probably need to step away from the tests for a couple of days. And take the Fitbit off. Easier said than done. I just want to know now either way.

When I fell pregnant with DS I did a FRER at 12dpo. It looked exactly like todays. And I just accepted that I was pregnant. Didn't know anything about chemicals etc to even worry about it. Was great.

What about you today? And sign of AF?

@QueenLagertha I agree with @MrsRosaline I'd just go by the lines and they look great! I'm not too clued up on RHR in early pregnancy but pregnancy signs and symptoms come and go so I wouldn't read too much in to having a good couple of days xxx

I chickened out of testing again today. Still no period... I'll test tomorrow... maybe... 😂

With my FRER I've only ever bought them on Amazon, so not sure how much to trust them there. Do they tend to be faulty from Amazon and better from pharmacies? In the past with Amazon First Response my partner saw the line in person but with the same line didn't when I sent it to him. I am using MomMed IC right now but not sure how to trust them either. In the past I have had only one line from MomMed but now I can see two. The second line is faint and doesn't show too well on here but I still see it. This was a couple of days ago xx

I think that the ones from Amazon can sometimes be knock offs and not genuine first response.

Oh dear mine are coming from Amazon when the courier can find my house! 😬 xx

I think if they're genuine FRER they are in bright pink wrapper and say "first response" on thumb part. From reading reviews on Amazon the fakes are in white wrapper and don't say this on the thumb part.

I also have a box of mommed but haven't tried them yet. Didn't think they'd be sensitive enough before missed period

@LittleDoveLove I really wouldn't trust them from Amazon and from the reviews I've been reading this morning about false positives and false negatives I'm not going to get them again!!!

No period yet and (tmi) I've had a good feel around and no red/brown on my fingers but got some cm. no cramping and feel like SHIT!

All sounds very promising @MrsRosaline! I'm deffo waiting for AF next month after giving in at the last minute this month! X

I'll see if I can get some from the pharmacy. My First Response are in the bright pink packaging and everything looks right. I have also had brown CM. I don't know if that was implantation or not. If it was implantation, then how long do I wait to test? xx

@ButterflyBailey I don't trust FRERs full stop after reading all the reviews. Mine was from a pharmacy but the control line looks dodgy (pic doesn't really capture it) so I'll use CB from now. I'd wait at least a week until after you think implantation happened x

First Response have had my hopes up before so I think you're right not to trust them. Yes, I'll wait a few more days before I test. If it was implantation then it would be a week since it happened today or tomorrow x

I will check packaging when they arrive, they were accurate last month but I will definitely be checking the packs! Xx

@LittleDoveLove check the lot number/expiration date on the packs matches the box xx how are you feeling? Xx

@newtolineofduty I randomly did a test just now. It was negative. My wee was quite diluted, but I would think at 13DPO even in the afternoon it would show up by now!

@MrsRosaline that's what I thought yesterday! Was it a FRER and where from!? I imagine you're feeling so deflated but don't give up yet! Are you having symptoms other than the boobs? No AF here yet, can't feel it coming and I feel SHOCKING! Starting to doubt the FRER but maybe clutching at straws!

It was a FRER that I'm pretty sure I got from boots last month. Boobs still sore, no sign of period yet.
