Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

@MrsRosaline hey!!! You're doing really well not to test!!!! Are you feeling different? Sounds really hopeful!!!!! Just tell yourself if you wait until Monday you can really trust the result either way!!!!

If I was allowing myself to symptom spotting/feel excited I'd be thinking I had implantation cramps weds/Thursday but I trying not to go down that road! No temptation to test! Will test Thursday if AF doesn't show weds x I think Monday will feel too early for me xx

I'd be 12dpo which I know is plenty but I've been reading more about testing early and it's just totally put me off! I'd also rather see AF than a negative test!!!! The disappointment of a negative test is worse for me than seeing AF! You're due Sunday right!? Xx

Yeh that makes sense. Mine has changed a few times, it was Sunday at first, then Tuesday and now Wednesday 🙄 I won't test early because I don't want the confusion like last cycle!

@MrsRosaline totally! I'd rather take ONE test and TRUST that that one test is correct! Last pregnancy I just did the one on the day my period was due and then followed with a digital a few days later then that was that! I'd like to be more like that again! Need to order some frers but going to wait to make sure they don't arrive before weds just in case I do get itchy!

I have other 'signs' too like more cervical mucus but I had that last month too so I've learned that I can't trust any of these things! My first signs last time were bleeding gums and coffee tasting fowl so I'm more looking out for those signs! What were your early signs last time? X

@newtolineofduty @MrsRosaline I know what you mean about being twitchy about testing. I am going to try and wait till Monday at which point I'll hopefully be 13/14 DPO.

I'm feeling lots of things cramping, high overnight temperature etc. It's so difficult isn't it?
I will be buying some FRER this weekend though and 🤞🏼 will get to use and get a BFP x

Yes totally agree @newtolineofduty! Last pregnancy I did an early one a few days before period was due (it was negative) and then a standard one the day period was due. I wouldn't say I had early signs last time. But I do remember 4/5 days before the positive test I was having heart palpitations and I felt exhausted!

My "signs" this cycle are a sore throat; and really sore swollen boobs. I've been having bad backache, which was a huge pregnancy thing for me last time, I suffered with my back throughout. However I get it every month before period now. So not sure whether to count it or not!

@MrsRosaline @newtolineofduty I am symptom spotting like you wouldn't believe... temp and HR are elevated, had some cramping and as not as energetic as normal (training for a half marathon in 6 weeks so need to get over that 🤣).

Please inspire me to hold the line until Monday. I have a busy day tomorrow which should help but Sunday afternoon is very free.

Just read it again and made me realise that even I if I tested now and it was positive, the worrying would start because I would wonder if it was a true positive. Especially after all the weird tests. I had last month!!

I'm alright - I had a negative again today. I'm going to ring docs on Monday as I think it's a chemical that hasn't left if that makes sense.

@Itsjustme20 do you think maybe the tests was picking up your surge instead and you ovulated late? As it did pick it up very early, did you say 6 days DPO? (Sorry if I confused that) I'm wondering as they can pick them up if that's what's happened maybe. As the other ladies know I've had a couple of mad months with the sticks and multiple surges! The one I got pregnant in last month I had 5 solid peak days.x

Ahhh I'm the opposite you know @MrsRosaline I would rather know if I was having chemical ones as that helps if need to get any assistance from doc or ivf as will help eliminate what the issue is. I am an over planner though 😂 x

Yes I know what you mean @LittleDoveLove but I had some positives last cycle and I still don't really even know if it was a chemical or dodgy tests! I'm also still a bit miffed that the period that came after was so light. Lighter than it's been since having my daughter!!

@MrsRosaline I understand and yes wait to test as will reassure you more when you do. All these sticks are causing us all loads of stress aren't they, if it isn't the OPKs it's the Pregnancy tests! X

@LittleDoveLove it's a really good point. Do you know if, in fertility investigations, is a chemical pregnancy classed as a miscarriage when they ask how many miscarriages a person has had etc? I wasn't sure whether a chemical pregnancy carries the same 'significance' as a miscarriage in terms of the potential for future ones etc? X
