Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

@newtolineofduty Just rang them now. They're refusing to do a blood test. I've got to wait 3/4 more days and test again 🤦🏽‍♀️

@newtolineofduty They said to test again in 3/4 days. She also said if I miss 3 (!!!) periods and still get BFN then they'll test then to see what's going on.

@newtolineofduty I know!! 🙄 I've just been reading a thread about a woman who kept getting negatives until 2 days after her second missed period!! She's 8 weeks pregnant! 😳

@newtolineofduty @MrsRosaline - what pregnancy tests will you take? I got a CB one as part of my advance OPK but not sure if I should get another more accurate/easier to read one if needed?

As part of my "not symptom spotting" 🙈🤦🏾‍♀️ I've spent my afternoon (apologies to my employer) tracking my overnight temperature as measured via my Fitbit sense and it seems as though something different is happening. This is the longest I've ever sustained a +0.5degree (vs baseline) centigrade. I know it's not as accurate at bbt but hopefully it's something (BF) positive 🤞🏾.

So glad we have this pact else I'd develop an expensive POAS habit x

@wannabeamummysobad I don't understand temping etc but you know your body so well that sounds exciting! I have a clear blue one but I'm going to order a frer-theres something about the blue dye ones I don't like! Evaporation lines are harder to rule out I think! I don't feel tempted to test at all-I'm really dreading it actually! It's the potentially for disappointment...I'm 8dpo and have had cramping on and off today which would be perfect timing for implantation cramps but after last month I'm genuinely not thinking anything of it! How many DPO are you? X

@newtolineofduty I'm 7/8 DPO but I have a shorter cycle so if I weren't TTC I'd be expecting AF on Sunday (hence testing on Monday). I'll order a first response from boots now.

I know what you mean about worrying about being disappointed but I'm hopeful for all of us. Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs and the stickiest of beans x

@Liliarosa I also really rate the Boots own brand ones! Never ever had a false positive.

yes I am glad as well! Usually I'd be glancing at the tests and thinking "why not"! 6DPO. Had some weird stomach cramps down low, which felt similar to the cramps I used to get when I overdid it during my last pregnancy. But again, the first cycle TTC I had cramps and thought "ok I'm 100% pregnant" when I wasn't! This time next week we'll know 🤞🏻

@wannabeamummysobad I'm going to order one at the weekend/Monday and wait until weds (day period due) or Thursday to test!! My cycles are so regular though so if If it's not arrived by Thursday I'd be very hopeful! Are yours usually very regular? Xx

I was reading a thread earlier that was very negative about early testing, saying how CB and FR use false advertising/biased research to simply get people testing earlier and spend more on tests! X

@newtolineofduty yes, I've always been very regular 25days (the one time in April I was 28days I was so panicked even though we'd always had protected sex 🤣).
Because of this I'm confident to test on Monday but it is stressing me out. I think I'm getting so excited I that I could be pregnant that I don't want any disappointments.

So far, I am feeling different to other months where we weren't ttc so 🤞🏾. Fingers crossed the coming 5days fly by x

It's interesting, because I also either have 27 or 28 day cycles. CD28 would be Sunday for me. But I would only be 10DPO so that's why I am going to wait! FF is predicting my period for Tuesday 17th, which I'm guessing is based on my luteal phase trend.

@MrsRosaline because it's our first time TTC I only know about the mensuration cycle academically- other than that I've tracked my AF due dates to make sure I'm never surprised.

Used OPK the first time this cycle and saw my ovulation was 3 days later than my cycle would predict suggesting my leuteal phase is c.12/days - not sure if that's good or bad. I just want this weekend to pass without AF arriving 🤞🏼

Agh great you're in the sweet spot @LittleDoveLove before it starts to get stressful! I'm 9dpo and like you am starting to get abit 'itchy' but only in terms of googling symptoms etc-no urges to test early this time!!!! The disappointment of a negative test...I'd rather see AF! xxx

I've come to the decision that I'm not pregnant and I'm just having a missed period. It's 4 days now since my positive test (3 days since the really faint one) and I've done another this morning that was a BFN.

So I'm going to OPK test every day and HCG test every other just in case and hopefully I'll ovulate soon and we'll catch it🥰

I've been having really bad back ache, which does usually come before period though. 🧐
