TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

@newtolineofduty do you put the test stick in a different holder each day then? I thought once you saw peak you couldn't test again! Once I've seen peak I haven't done any more tests...

When I say second peak day I just mean the day after I've received my peak as the static stays there for 48 hours which they refer to as your two peak days xxx I stop testing after seeing the peak x

And no. I am on day 9 of the flashing smileys!!! No idea wtf is going on. Hopefully I get one tomorrow..

Managed to DTD very late tonight so I'm a happy girl now! Going to go Thursday I think just in case it's delayed! Fingers crossed for your peak tomo @MrsRosaline x I think doing those tests are as nerve wracking as doing a pregnancy test sometimes! X

Any joy this morning @MrsRosaline? Day 3 of flashing smiley for me today, CD 12. I've usually ovulated by now

This might sound really silly @QueenLagertha and @MrsRosaline but when we had the heatwave I remember reading that pregnancy tests can basically be rendered useless if they are stored above a certain temperature. If you have the same monitors from last month I wonder if they're not quite working properly if they were stored in a hot room!? I think they are supposed to be kept under 25degrees and I know my bedroom got up to 32 or so! I've put my pregnancy tests under the kitchen sink! X

Can anyone tell me if this should be enough sex for this cycle?

I got my strong positive on 2nd August So ovulated 3rd August (yesterday)

We DTD on;

24th July AM
28th July PM
31st July AM
1st Aug AM
2nd Aug AM
2nd Aug PM
3rd Aug tea time

We did a mix of positions either Doggy, missionary and side by side

I know this is TMI but I have started to write down these timings because it might help me for this month! We have been trying for 2 and a half years and I'm now on my 4th month of clomid! So it is definitely getting me down

Can someone reassure me that this is enough? Thankyou!

Woohoo I finally got my peak this morning! CD17 so 3 days later than normal. Haha yes @newtolineofduty I think that doing the OPKS fuels my POAS addiction!

I've never thought of that @newtolineofduty. I'm sure it is a possibility. I store mine in the cupboard under bathroom sink so hopefully are ok.

OvuSense may have it right yes, although I will wait for confirmation! All my sticks are also in the bathroom, so hopefully they're ok!

@Raindrop25 that certainly sounds like a lot of sex so I'd say you're in with a good chance!

Hi all , excellent on your peak @MrsRosaline !
Just wondering, did anyone experience any menstrual issues after a covid jab? Had my first one n feel like coming on my period, some cramps, cervical mucus with slight tinge of brown at few times (sharing!). I'm CD13 and DTD this morning so start things off not no idea what's going on now!! 😩 x

My period was really delayed after the jab @LittleDoveLove and I've seen lots about it delaying/disrupting cycles x my friend experienced the same thing x only temporarily though xx

I've seen lots about the covid jab delaying periods etc.

Personally, mine has been a bit haywire since I think! I'm currently CD32, 3 days late for AF yet a BFN today. 🤷🏽‍♀️

So ladies I think I'm officially in the two week wait!

I'm feeling LOADS more chilled this month as last month I learned that you can have every pregnancy symptom going and it means nothing, so I'm confident I'll be doing much less of the symptom spotting! X

And so it begins again @newtolineofduty. I'm hoping that I'll stay chilled this month too. Last months TWW was horrible and I had every pregnancy symptom possible. Such a head
It just shows the affect your mind has on your body! I am telling myself that I am likely to be in it for the long haul so need to go with the flow now. Can't be putting myself through that mental torture for months on end

That's exactly how I feel @QueenLagertha! I had this weird instinct I was pregnant and when AF arrived I was just thinking how cruel the TTC is so I really need to find a way to cope better! X where abouts are you? X

@newtolineofduty I was convinced it was going to happen for me last month too. It's so hard. I'm usually so rational. When it comes to TTC I turn in to a nutcase. I'm calm and relaxed now but I'm not sure if I'll still be this time next week

CD 12 for me today. Usually have ovulated by now. Still on flashing smileys. Praying for a nice juicy mature egg 😂 Maybe my supplements have delayed my ovulation this month

Yes @LittleDoveLove my cycle was a bit messed up immediately after but it resolved itself quickly.

@newtolineofduty can't believe you're a few days ahead of me now 😂 we have DTD today, and yesterday. Will continue tomorrow... Won't officially be in 2WW for a few days I think! I don't think I will test early this month (although I say that every time!!!)

CD14 here, usually ovulate CD17-21 so we've a few days to go but we've started DTD now. Hopefully it's short lived with the spotting - seems ok today 🤞 x
