TTC - Ovulation

Hi!

I have been TTC this month. I got a flashing smiley face on the clearblue OPKS this morning so all is looking good! I would love to talk to anyone else who is also TTC this month... I am currently driving my husband mad as it's all I can talk about. 😊

I intend to do 3 days in a row once I get my peak. But the third one doesn't happen as we are too exhausted by that stage 😂 haven't DTD much this month despite still tracking. Did it last night and prob won't do it tonight.

I temp as well to be sure that ovulation has passed.

I'm wondering this too. Got my static yesterday- DTD twice but not sure if I go again today.

It's been a week of DTD and I'm shattered 🤣

@wannabeamummysobad we also got peak and DTD twice yesterday. Looking back at when I had my DD, we continued for two days after the positive OPK!

@MrsRosaline, thanks for the heads up! Booked in a morning meeting and DTD! This is definitely a benefit of TTC when wfh.

Yes when trying for DD we also were doing it in the morning and evening on peak day. We've only been able to do in the evening this cycle, when DD is in bed. She's awake too early for anything to happen in the mornings 😂

Had some weird pulling pains in my lower stomach area. Been having them all afternoon.

Already symptom spotting and not even sure I'm any days past ovulation! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

We are out for DH birthday today. I'm going to enjoy it and take a break from stressing... until tomorrow 🙈. Really hoping for a BFP.

@newtolineofduty @MrsRosaline I'm 3/4 DPO but won't be testing until AF is (hopefully) late so will test next week Sunday. I mean this is my intent.... let's see if I can stick to this come Wednesday next week 🤣.

I am also deciding when I will wait until. My period is due 16 august according to FF, but I haven't quite worked out when I ovulated. My temperature dipped on Tuesday, I got the peak on Wednesday. So I suspect that ovulation happened sometime on Wednesday. That would put me at 3DPO but OvuSense hasn't confirmed yet...

I woke at 5am yesterday and today. Fell back asleep but then DS woke before 7. I usually temp at 6am. So now my temps are inaccurate. So annoying. I've haven't added any other data to fertility friend this month to see when it predicts ovulation based on temps alone.

I'm heading out for a boozy lunch now. Haven't had a drink in a long time. Looking forward to it and it'll be a welcome distraction.

@QueenLagertha I did my temps last month I just did it when I woke, didn't pay attention too much to exact time. I did conceive then had the chemical so I'm doing the same this month and just doing it whatever time I wake up. Enjoy your lunch! May also have a little wine here x

@newtolineofduty we are cycle of 1 however we've been working towards this (pregnacare, period tracking etc) since the start of the year. We are recently married and wanted to wait until that was sorted before DTD unprotected x

Think I'm at my peak ladies I've refrained from clearblue but I did get 7 boots own sticks after the spotting and have a dark line today and my temp has dipped. Will know in next day or two with the temp. How's everyone getting on? X

Agh @LittleDoveLove so glad your cycle is back on track.

I'm 5DPO and feel very different this month in terms of how chilled I feel etc! Think I've set myself up for it to take a while now which helps take the pressure off!

Definitely @newtolineofduty so glad you're feeling more chilled! I had some reflexology on Friday and loved it, almost asleep again 😌 . Feeling ok thank you, happy I've got some ovulation signs as I was worried after the jab x

@LittleDoveLove yes I've seen loads of posts about it delaying periods by weeks and weeks! Have you tried acupuncture? Xxx

Hi all! Just wanted to join the thread on this crazy waiting journey! I'm currently 9 or 10dpo and did a test this morning and BFN. Today I've had some very light pink spotting which lasted a couple of hours with some very mild cramps so burst into tears that AF has just arrived 5 days early. Now everything has stopped so I don't know what to think! Anyone had this and then got their AF a few days later? X

@newtolineofduty thank you! It could be or... could be AF and this whole waiting thing is making me crazy! On and off for about a year now and if this cycle isn't successful we're off for some tests. I've been reading up on IB and apparently it's rarer than people think so I'm going with AF! This would make my cycle 22 days which is the shortest I've ever had it! Now that's panicking me!

@hoola23 if your period is really unusually early id have thought it's much more likely to be implantation and especially if it was only a couple of hours xxx
