@AnxiousWannabe I used to but I’ve learned that no, full flow is cd1, apparently

Hey when are you starting your IVF

It's always so depressing when you know you are out..lol.

@AnxiousWannabe not yet, we’re still waiting for more results and consultations. The urologist is on holiday all of June so we are twiddling our thumbs for a while yet. Lister gave me a few pages to read on all the add-ons with HFEA ratings as well as their own opinions.

Good luck to those entering the fertile week. Literally the first thing I thought when I got my BFP last month was ‘thank God I don’t have to do another fertile week’! It’s the worst - I hate, hate, hate how forced it all is. We ended up doing five days in a row this cycle because of the way that stupid flashing smiley went! After twenty years together we’re not even two nights in a row people 🤣

@Magnum99 did you make any decisions about taking a month off? I could totally relate to what you were saying - I found it really difficult to get back on board with TTC this month. Hope you’re doing ok 🥰

@GuessHowMuch yes we ended up DTD on Saturday night after what would probably be considered as being far too much alcohol than a TTC lady should consume.
I didn't use OPK this month but pretty sure it was around the time of ovulation.
I'm going with the attitude of you've got to be in it to win it, at least I'm in with a shot this month and there's every chance it might happen since I've not actually tried very hard this month.
I'm just going to have to try and not think about it, I'm not testing until I'm several days late this time.

@thislittlebird No I haven’t had it yet, I’m finding the communication with them through Egress really frustrating! I can’t seem to reply to the same person, it just goes to their main switchboard so there’s a lot of crossed wires and no fluidity. It’s doing my head in!

@Magnum99 agreed - I’ve always been an early tester but definitely won’t be any time soon.

@Misty84 ah ok, when I spoke to AT she told me to contact her secretary from now on and gave me the email. After my initial issue with an appointment I managed to speak to a different secretary and she was great, so I stuck with her until I had the right secretary’s email. Did you get given your consultant’s secretary email? I found the regular reception/admin team very confusing too and glad I can swerve it.

@thislittlebird Yeah I’ll ask because every email has come back from ‘Switch Gateway’ and it’s always a different person so I have to keep starting from scratch as there’s no continuity. Such an infuriating way of doing things!

@Misty84 it’s super annoying. I was getting nowhere with the initial appointment because randos kept picking up my emails. It’s been much better with the secretary comms, definitely track down your one! I haven’t had a bill for the hycosy yet which is odd, maybe it’ll arrive tomorrow.

@thislittlebird sorry was planning to type more but af just killed all my happy cells sigh. We are pretty keen to try but it also means we need to wait for a month post egg retrieval for egg transfer. Oh well. If we have good eggs at all I guess.

@thislittlebird that's great if you're getting ovulation signs!
I've found the only way the cheap opk work for me is if I use fmu which you're not supposed to! I'm with you on all this dtd schedule, this month I've done absolutely everything I can think of to help and so much dtd and still no bfp! Because of the stupid long cycle we managed cd6,8,11,13,17,19,21,23,24,26,28,31,33,34 &37 just for luck as I've was 33/34! 😵
@GuessHowMuch I'm at the end of my tww finally 12/13dpo and feeling like af is on the way and temp been dropping the last couple of days 🙄
@AnxiousWannabe sorry af arrived, I always have a sulk on af day then i put my big girl pants on and start planning more things I can try for my next cycle. I'm expecting it any day now so I'll be joining you. Hope you're feeling ok

@Marvellouslymadmum I would never be able to dtd that much!! 😂 And yes I know what you mean that it’s tough when you put all that effort in and it’s still a bfn 😡
Going to try and have a proper go this month as we only dtd 3 times last fw. It’s just so obviously forced though, I hate it 🙈 Just like @GuessHowMuch said! But seeing how much you ladies have managed makes me think I just have to try harder! 💪

You deserve a nap, that’s a lot of dtd 😩

The only good thing I can say is we’ve got it down to a fine (or more like fast) art. A few minutes and done, no time to hang around.

Ladies. Just checking - would u go for your vaccine shot during your tww ?

@Misty84 it feel like what's the point - all this effort and no result! I'm wondering if I ovulate a couple of days after my peak, this month my last peak opk where I actually got my rise in bbt we're on cd33&34 but what if I didn't ovulate until cd35/36? Are we missing it because we give up after ovulation maybe?

@thislittlebird I'm Not really sure what else to suggest! To be honest the cheap strips have never worked for me before either but I persevered this month as I couldn't use the cb and got there in the end

@AnxiousWannabe absolutely, I had my first one a couple of days into my tww and second at time of ovulation which did probably delay it but an extra 2-3 weeks but rather that than Covid, I'm on another thread with a lady who had a late mc after getting Covid which must be devestating

@Geriatric1234 honestly I'm on the giving up train after this month! I've put so much effort in but my temps have consistently be dropping the last few days so I know af is on the way so still no bfp here, I need some renewed hope lol

@Misty84 You’re totally right about the slog - doing it so often is making it last longer and longer and I’m sure on a lovely, romantic weekend break that’s lovely. But at 11pm after I’ve taken care of all the other things that need doing I actually just want a quick delivery of the goods. Poor DH 😅

@Marvellouslymadmum that’s a epic month you’ve had! There’s absolutely no way I could have kept up with that! You definitely 100% deserve a BFP and if the universe doesn’t oblige then there’s obviously no justice! Clinging on to hope that the lower temps are an anomaly for you and a BFP is forthcoming. I’m not sure whether to stop doing my temps soon - 8DPO and not sure I want to see them crashing down next week.

@AnxiousWannabe I had second dose of Astra last cycle at maybe 2DPO. I had a chemical but wouldn’t have thought the vaccine contributed. I would 100% have the vaccine again while TTC but that’s because I really believe in the importance of being vaccinated (for me and others).

@GuessHowMuch I just carry on temping every day, I find it easier not getting out of the routine!

Super random here guys, but I was just reading this thread and if you go through the comments (ignoring the very occasional troll) there are an INSANE number of older mothers describing when they had their children. Most over 40. Just a nice little bit of mid-week motivation for you all! X
