@MgW1 This is so exciting!!!!

VixFromThe6ix · 28/05/2021 20:31

@Katiekattty thank you 💕 for indigestion I take activated charcoal. It's natural and it works. What's causing it for you??

@got2be I only talked to the nurse today but I was told I'll be taking it till week 10 or till placenta forms as it produces its own progesterone.
I'm sending you all the baby dust!! ✨✨✨✨

Thats great 😊
Were your previous mc chemicals? X[/quote]
First and second were at about 6 weeks... And last month I had my first chemical. So I can't be too excited till I'm past that dreaded 6 week point..... 🥴

@VixFromThe6ix
But am i right in thinking , this is first time with progesterone?
I am not testing 🙈 my husband doesnt want me to! We are going for a meal for my bday and he wahts me to have a nice time after a shite year with a glass of wine included!! So il try and put it to the back of my mind now and test on monday if no AF
My boobs are killing! X

Katiekattty · 28/05/2021 20:51

@VixFromThe6ix I’ll add that to the list of things to try. It’s everything these days, every meal I eat I’m massively bloated after. Sometimes I’m bloated before so I can barely eat and I end of starving with brings on nausea.

Noodella18 · 28/05/2021 20:53

@Katiekattty have you been tested for coeliacs?

notyetamumbuttrying · 28/05/2021 20:54

Thanks for the tag. Place marking.

ImpatientTTCer · 28/05/2021 21:00

@MgW1 I’m beginning to think that nobody actually gets good results with FMU 😂 next time you test, try the SMU or even late afternoon....my best results are always after 6pm!! Congratulations (in advance) though, and happy birthday!!! 🎉

Yes, you're right. First pregnancy with progesterone. Which I hope is all I've been missing.
Maybe it's smart not to test, especially if you have a bday weekend ahead so you can be in the moment with your hubby and not think about a test result. Happy birthday, by the way! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

Hmmm... I'm kind of feeling like that last few days - the bloated feeling. Not sure what can be done about that. I tried drinking more water, but it almost makes it worse... Have you tried digestive enzymes? I think I may try those for bloating, though I don't know if they are safe for pregnancy...

Thank you for thread @VixFromThe6ix and for tag @got2be xxxxx

Katiekattty · 28/05/2021 22:18

@Noodella18 no I haven’t, I’m lactose intolerant and pretty sure I’m not gluten intolerant. I lived in a gluten free house and the additives in gluten free did not agree with me at all. I’ve only been feeling like this since my BFP. If nothing changes I’ll go to the gp and ask for medicine that everyone takes. I’ve forgotten the name.

Noodella18 · 28/05/2021 23:10

Ohhh sorry @katiekattty I got you mised up with the other Katie on here, you're pregnant... you need some omeprazole! I had killer reflux in my first trimester with my daughter, made me feel even more sick. Some doctors can be a bit funny about prescribing it (not because it's not cleared for pregnancy, but because some of them are a bit old school and think you should just tough it out) but my partner is a gp and said that nexium, which is esomeprazole, is essentially the same (very slight structural difference, but pharmacist assured me it would be fine to take because it's basically the same). You can buy it over the counter, which is useful if you can't get an appointment!

Katiekattty · 28/05/2021 23:11

@Noodella18 thank you so much. I’m buying some first thing in the morning.

@MgW1 happy birthday!! Hope you have/had a lovely day!

ElsieG3m · 29/05/2021 06:00

Ladies has anyone here had a hycosy? I've booked one for July as suspicious of blockages/scarring. I had a manual evac after my first miscarriage and after my daughter was born the placenta didn't come away with drugs and was forcibly yanked out my a midwife. I suffered extreme blood loss. Didn't think about it until chatting to husband last night. I've also had incontinence and recurrent utis since then. So basically thinking hycosy could be sensible investigation. But heard it can be very painful. Has anyone had this/have tips for the pain?

ElsieG3m · 29/05/2021 06:04

@Katiekattty old wives tale but reflux in pregnancy is supposed to indicate baby will have a good head of hair - was def case for my sister - but think it's quite a fun little spin on some of the less than joyous symptoms of the first tri 😃 I didn't have it but had to drink ice cold water for the nausea. Room temp just wouldn't cut it. Maybe that could soothe it a bit. Think bananas can help too. Hope you're feeling well otherwise.

MgW1 · 29/05/2021 07:40

Thanks ladies , I hope bloody AF doesnt pitch up today 🙄x

Marvellouslymadmum · 29/05/2021 09:24
