@thislittlebird hope you are feeling ok ahead of hycosy. I found it really helpful just to focus on big deep breaths during mine. And it wasn't painful, even when they found my blocked tube, there was only a bit of cramping for a few seconds

@GuessHowMuch so next step is to ring the nurses and they book me an early scan for 6-7 weeks pregnant and then if all ok they send me off into the normal world of the nhs! I have to continue with the pessaries for 4 weeks.

@GuessHowMuch hello! I whizz up a pile of spinach, cucumber, apple, ginger and lime each morning. I have also increased the amount of tofu I eat and added red meat this month into my diet too. Could be complete coincidence tho!! If it takes a steak pie tho I will persevere!
Onto cycle 7 now and got GP booked for Monday afternoon.

Congratulations @notyetamumbuttrying! I knew it would work for you, I’m not sure why but I just thought it would. As @Kitekat81 said, we need more of that ivf luck.

Had my hycosy . Yeah did not love it lol. It was uncomfortable, but not painful, and they had to do most of it twice because they found a blockage. Got quite stressed/upset in the middle of it at the thought of having to fund a private investigative surgery but it was ok in the end. They flushed the blockage out with water, said it was a mucus plug.

I had 23 (and a tiny 24) follicles today, 10 on one right, 13 on the left. The report says cervical cannulation was “easy” but I’m not sure why that’s relevant, maybe they use a cannula in ivf too? Not sure. Everything else like the lining was fine.

I feel awful now though, think it’s the large quantity of antibiotics. Had to take 4 orally and another one as a suppository, my body is feeling a bit overwhelmed right now.

@thislittlebird amazing news that they flushed a blockage out! Sorry you're feeling so crappy afterwards though. Hopefully you've got time to rest up and be waited on by your husband tonight / rest of the week
