Thank you @GuessHowMuch @thislittlebird @ImpatientTTCer @AnxiousWannabe @Kitekat81! I only had 3 single G&Ts, and plenty of water…god it’s lame being sober when all friends are drunk!! But got to think of the bigger picture 💪 I was ready to go home to bed at 10pm 🙃

KiteKat I’m so sorry to hear you’ve had a false start!! I wouldn’t even think about the cyst risk either! So difficult for you when you’re having to book accommodation. I hope they can tell you more at your follow up. Thinking of you.

Coming to the end of my TWW now, only a few days to go until AF.
Where is everyone else up to in their cycle?

@AnxiousWannabe thank you, I'm not generally a stressed person to be honest I'm more the relaxed one in our relationship and my oh is the stresser lol but looks like I finally ovulated cd33/34

@GuessHowMuch you're supposed to use the cb digi opk with fmu I had 8 days of flashing before a static before but don't stop using them then start again or it won't pick up the rise

@Kitekat81 sorry about the cyst but that's really good that it doesn't effect anything and you can start again next month!

I’ve spent the first hour of today trying to find a pharmacy that has Metronidazole suppositories for my hycosy tomorrow but no one has any 🙄. I was trying to save time rather than (presumably) queue up at the Lister hospital pharmacy but oh well, not time saved and lots wasted this morning.

They asked me if oral would be ok and I’m like ????? no idea, can’t be bothered to make enquiries at this point.

@thislittlebird can no one order them in for you? Sometimes I find they say they can order things in for later that day

It takes up to 2 days and I don’t know what to do for the best @Marvellouslymadmum. I should have taken the prescription last week but I didn’t realise it would be hard to get hold of.

@thislittlebird hmm maybe try calling the lister and see what they say?

@thislittlebird oh good! At least you can get it ok, I had to buy some ear drops for my dog at the weekend (I know, totally the same thing 😂) and I normally pay just over £10 for them but her ear had started to get sore so I needed them quick so went to a vet to get them - double the price! 🙄

@Marvellouslymadmum I now know the price locally so it will be interesting to see if it’s different.

@thislittlebird yes definitely interesting to find out! I know I expected it to be a bit more but not double, I mean wasn't the end of the world as it was £20 but still just very annoying that I could've got it for half that if I could wait a couple of days

Thanks @Marvellouslymadmum, luckily my cheap LH test rose the same day so carried on with the CB and got the peak that day. Annoyingly the peak was three days ago, LH tests have started fading and I still haven’t had a temp rise. I started my steroids (for rheumatoid) yesterday so hoping it hasn’t fluffed up ovulation at the last moment! I am sooooo tired of all the DTD already 😂 Congrats on ovulation! Was it late for a reason? (Sorry if I’ve missed something).

@GuessHowMuch not sure why mine was late, I had 4 ov attempts this month before it happened! I did have my second Covid jab this month but a few other things could've caused it too so no idea really!

Wooohoo glad to hear it @Marvellouslymadmum! Cd2 here, back to start again.. boo. On plus side no spotting this month for first time in ages, which I think has been helped by the seven seas and eating a green smoothie every morning! That's my theory anyway!

I'm 36 in a couple of weeks on cycle day 11 and second 'proper' month of TTC baby 2.

We've not been on contraception since DD was born two years ago, but actively been avoiding pregnancy by tracking via calendar apps!

It does make me worry slightly as we've not had so much as a hint of pregnancy in those two years and some months we've not been as careful as others!

Will be LH testing from tomorrow or Wednesday onwards as I'm around 6 days away from ovulation.. no signs yet but hopefully this'll be our month

I used to look forward to tww and testing early. But after so many disappointments..I am just meh..lol

Well I've done something today that I said I was never going to do again - I took a contraceptive pill 😣 Felt so strange as it's the absolute opposite of what I've been doing for the last 21 months. But this is what they said is going to suppress the cyst and get us back on the ivf track, so I just need to go with it...

I can imagine the pill feels really strange now. I would feel the same. Fingers crossed it does what it’s supposed to do for you.

@Kitekat81 I can’t even imagine doing something so strange and the opposite of what we’ve been trying to do for so long! So bizarre isn’t it!

I’ve started spotting which means AF arriving tomorrow or next day. Onto Cycle 23. It’s so effing ridiculous. Could not possibly be doing anymore to help our chances.
