@Misty84 tbh I could've been a lot better but I'll put it down to upping veg and fish. I still ate sweet things tbh and the odd low alcohol beer and gin and slim! 🤭
It is very liberating giving it over to the professionals, let them worry about it rather than you! 2 months now, yay! Hopefully the time flies by for you x

Noodella18 · 06/06/2021 21:39

@GuessHowMuch really sorry to hear about your chemical 😔

@notyetamumbuttrying oh my goodness how exciting! Sending loads of positive vibes to you and keeping fingers crossed the little embryo snuggles in firmly and clings on for dear life! When is your official test date?

Noodella18 · 06/06/2021 21:52

@Farfaraway1 really sorry to hear about the evap, but glad you're feeling ok about it.

@Magnum99 argh, really tricky, I hope it's just a bit of implantation bleeding. That test looks good, hopefully it will be stronger tomorrow. My bleeding on period due date has cleared up and lines getting stronger - I think it's quite common, so fingers crossed it's the same for you.

Noodella18 · 06/06/2021 21:56

@Geriatric1234 I'm doing ok, thanks for asking 😊 haven't had any more bleeding, temps are still high, boots are bigger and tests are definitely getting stronger. I submitted my registration form for the area midwives and mentioned the bleeding so I'm half expecting that they will get me in for blood tests. I feel quite chill about it tbh, I'm relieved that we've managed to get pregnant relatively easily so even if this one doesn't stick there's a good chance a pregnancy will work out in future. How are you getting on?

@Noodella18 ah really? That's good to know that you had bleeding but still a positive outcome.
Currently convinced AF is coming, I feel achey and a bit crampy, feeling like an utter idiot for thinking I had a positive this morning but then bleeding this afternoon. At least it's not just me who can see a line though.
Fingers crossed I get another positive in the morning.

notyetamumbuttrying · 06/06/2021 22:23

@Noodella18 thanks! Omg me too 😂 17th June. Good to hear you're getting on well still!

@Magnum99 good luck for the morning!

Noodella18 · 06/06/2021 22:35

@Magnum99 I mean I wouldn't say I'm out if the woods yet, but it definitely appears as though things are progressing. I had pink spotting on the morning of period due date, then quite a lot of red blood in the evening, then a little bit more blood and a couple of tiny clots the next morning. That was Thursday and no spotting since then and all signs have been positive since then. I did spot pretty much every day of first trimester with my daughter, but only from 6 weeks. Fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. Also I find second morning urine far more concentrated than first!

KatRee · 06/06/2021 22:59

@Farfaraway1 Sorry that af is here after all- so disappointing for you- but I hope this cycle will be the one

Keeping fingers crossed for all new BFPs

@notyetamumbuttrying Hoping you will get a BFP soon and glad you've managed to get some rest today - you've definitely earned it

@Misty84 Thank you lovely- you're so kind- I may well need your advice. He counted 9 follicles on my right ovary, which he said was average, but then only 3 on the left, which he said was low. Bit confused as I never realised it could vary so much between the two of them on the same cycle and not sure what this will mean for ovarian reserve overall.
How are you feeling about everything atm? Hope you're doing ok x

Marvellouslymadmum · 06/06/2021 23:16

@ElsieG3m yes I use the clearblue digital advanced and the cheap strips but the new box of cb arrived too late for this month so just the strips and I've had a peak 3 times so far! Cd15,21,28 but no temp rise after so no confirmed ovulation 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Magnum99 it's so hard to know what's going one with outlet bodies. I do hope it's just ib for you and this is your sticky bean! I know how you feel with your son, mine is also autistic and has adhd but he's currently in his bedroom getting cross with his xbox and keeps shouting and banging (he's 16 and the neighbours think everytime there's shouting and banging it's me shouting at him!) sometimes a little quiet time is well deserved!

Ahh I'm sorry @Farfaraway1 I do hate the confusion ttc brings.

@Noodella18 that's great that your lines are getting stronger!

Magnum99 · 07/06/2021 06:39

Well AF has arrived 😢
I still did a test this morning, I did it automatically first thing this morning but I had wiped and seen the blood, today's test doesn't have a indentation line at all which makes me think it was a CP.
Has anybody done the online day 21 tests to check progesterone? Or have you done them through NHS? If it's NHS has the GP done them or fertility clinic? I've been referred to fertility but wasn't sure if GP can do that test?

KatRee · 07/06/2021 07:06

I'm sorry @Magnum99 , that sucks. What a rollercoaster this whole thing is. Hope you're doing ok
My day 21 bloods were done through the GP

ElsieG3m · 07/06/2021 07:09

@Marvellouslymadmum hmm - that's odd. No wisdom here I'm afraid - I'm not having any luck with OPKs. I drink loads of water due to migraines and pee every hour! Wanted to reduce dtd a bit this month as it's turned into a bit of a chore tbh but not sure we'll see the positive OPKs to have confidence so might be another every other day month 😅

ElsieG3m · 07/06/2021 07:12

@Magnum99 sorry to hear that lovely. Is AF in full force? I'm having progesterone checked privately next month. Didn't even consider that the GP might do it tbh - I think mine would just tell me to go away - actually GP is lovely but they're so busy I don't think they'd be able to accommodate.

thislittlebird · 07/06/2021 07:38

@Magnum99 The GP does them, it’s done at whatever place local blood tests are done for you (hospital in my case).

Misty84 · 07/06/2021 09:06

@Magnum99 Sorry to hear that, it’s so rubbish 😔 I had 21 day test done through GP.

@Marvellouslymadmum I finally got a temp rise but we gave up dtd nearly a week ago, oops. It’s just too tiring to maintain!

@KatRee That number of follicles doesn’t sound too bad! At last count I have 10 (6 on one ovary and 4 on the other) which they said was quite good for low amh.

@Geriatric1234 Great to hear how good acupuncture has been for you, how has it helped you?

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 09:44

@Magnum99 sorry af showed for you, my gp did my day 21 progesterone test, mine was just taken by the nurse at the practice, so hopefully you can get one done through them.

@ElsieG3m I'll just keep plodding along I guess and at some point af should show up!

@Misty84 my temp dropped back down to 36.19 this morning so deffo no ovulation here yet and I'll probably miss it when it does!

Farfaraway1 · 07/06/2021 10:02

Thanks ladies for your kind words. I guess I’ve seen so many negative tests for the last year that it was no surprise when AF showed.. sigh.

@Magnum99 sorry your AF arrived too. So disappointing after a glimmer of hope isn’t it. Xx

Noodella18 · 07/06/2021 11:30

Really sorry @Magnum99 :(

Geriatric1234 · 07/06/2021 11:43

@Farfaraway1 ans @Magnum99 I'm so sorry you've both had rollercoaster months :-( But at least your bodies are really trying!!

@GuessHowMuch How are you feeling?

@Noodella18 Ooooh that's a lovely strong line!! I'm good. AF allegedly due today (CD27) but after vaccine threw me off last month I'm not testing unless she still hasn't appeared by CD30 as I think I'm still not late. Plus I'm cramping a little so I fear she's imminent! Overall I've just gone very zen. I'm 42 and not intending to have IVF or any fertility assistance, so the DH and I have agreed to just live out lives for the year and he'll get the snip in 2022 whatever happens. I don't like the destabilising nature of TTC, especially with the stats at my age. So I'm taking my supplements and POAS OPKs but still drinking a little and living life!

@Misty84 So, when I had my MC I realised my periods were seriously messed up. Mainly because I didn't find the MC (at 6+5) upsetting as it was exactly like my normal period. After discussing this with a midwife she told me I shouldn't be living like this and suggested acupuncture. I found a guy who specialised in women's health acupuncture and after 4 sessions my periods have dramatically improved. I used to be on painkillers for a week beforehand and fully chugging codeine the first 2 days. I would bleed clots well over a 50p piece and go through super plus tampon in 30 minutes. Since acupuncture the pain is far less, I don't pass clots anywhere near as big or frequently and the flow is much lighter. Honestly think it's witchcraft!!!

Loladoodle · 07/06/2021 12:15

@Geriatric1234 I’m going to start acupuncture soon I think for similar reasons. Kindof in the same situation in many ways just living life and hoping it happens but if it doesn’t it doesn’t. Although we weren’t going to do any fertility tests but have now decided just to both get checked out as it would be good to know if there is something that is preventing it from happening or if it is just down to my older eggs! 👵

Misty84 · 07/06/2021 12:53

Thanks for the info @Geriatric1234, I’m glad it’s helped you so much 🙂

@Marvellouslymadmum I’m still not convinced that it won’t drop again tomorrow! Really not sure what’s happened this cycle. Hope you get a bit more clarity soon.

AnxiousWannabe · 07/06/2021 13:04

@Marvellouslymadmum
You are like me ! I am on CD 23 with no temp rise...the stress is getting to me. Which is like a vicious cycle. I am thinking of getting a progesterone on cd 30 and just let it be.

AnxiousWannabe · 07/06/2021 13:07

I wish there is a button we can press to induce ovulation!

Misty84 · 07/06/2021 14:15

@AnxiousWannabe a pregnancy button would be even better!😛

Marvellouslymadmum · 07/06/2021 14:15

@Misty84 @AnxiousWannabe I'm getting to the point where I'm just thinking of stopping the opk and waiting for af! Cd 31 with three failed attempts at ovulation 🤷🏼‍♀️ spoke to the doc this morning about my scan results - who told me I have adenomyosis, not a total shock but wasn't exactly expecting it. Mentioned my cycle issues to her and she just said it could be to do with the second jab but could also be to do with the adenomyosis
