biglips - so sorry about AF turning up

TS - I used Clearblue Digital Ovulation kits which I found really good, I used them the month after AF turned up again and got a (the indicationof an LH surge prior to ovulation) on CD15 of a 27 day cycle which also was the day I had OV pain. The cycle I got pregnant on I used ebay cheapies OV sticks, which were ok and again showed a surge on CD15 but I had no ov pain this time. Oh and I had EWCM about 3 days before this.

TwilightSurfer · 13/11/2007 15:32

Shazza & Sweetkitty good information.

Biglips are you sure it's AF and not implant bleed?

biglips · 13/11/2007 15:51

im sure it is the AF as i BD on 1st and 2nd Nov (had a ov pain on 31st oct)....and wasnt expecting my AF at least the 16th so im too far gone for its to be the implant bleed as im on about 12 or 13 dpo

biglips · 13/11/2007 15:51

oh and im still waitin for my CD pg test to arrive..prob tmrw

sweetkitty · 13/11/2007 16:43

at least you will have them ready for next month

TwilightSurfer · 13/11/2007 16:56

Okay I've just set appointment with new OB/GYN for 28th. He's suppose to be young and dreamy. As he's new to this particular practice, his bedside manner should be set pretty high so he can build a patient base. My stated reason for the visit is ovary pain post-mc (that is true). I feel very impowered today having a set date to look fowards to...even if it's just a look-see at the equipment.

biglips · 13/11/2007 17:02

Twilight - thats good to hear that youve got an appointment sorted. Good luck

beaniesteve · 13/11/2007 17:22

helloo everyone.
Anyone for a glass of wine tonight? maybe just a virtual glass of wine... but in that case it should be a big one.

Just had my 4th day back at work since maternity leave ended. Blimey. The real world is a bit of a shock. We'd better get on with making baby 2 so I can disappear into baby dreamworld again as soon as possible...

tho this month I am sitting back and relaxing - I'm CD9 I think, and dh is now away for 2 weeks with work. We BDd last night but that is far too early I'm sure and by the time he gets back the egg will be past it, old wrinkly and ready to drop out. Kind of nice to know that we've got a month off

I'm ready to lurk and cheer at the BFPs you lovely ladies will be having.
xx

biglips · 13/11/2007 18:54

thanks Spink - it was a vvvvv faint pink line (on one of those ebay cheap pg sticks)...so must've of been an error but as i said i had a feeling that i wasnt pg this morning but whats weird is that i had no AF symptoms and still havent now where i usually get mega sore boobs, bloated tummy, sore back but im fine. This is my first month of TTC too so better luck for next time....and hoping Dp is better by the time my ovulation peaks again...

beaniesteve · 13/11/2007 19:10

Thanks anniemac I wasn't holding out that much hope as the first test I did was negative so I'm not that disappointed, infact in a way I am glad I have time to think about this more. Not that I don't want to be pregnant but I did get a little bit over excited about the fact that I might have fallen first try and I'm not sure that's a reasonable way to be behaving! :D

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 19:33

sorry for AFs girls.. next month will be our month

Hey anniemac, how did scan go today was thinking of you xxx

Proud of you Shrek - you're a shining example to us all. I am so inspired I vow to do the same. Oh yes. For at least a week until AF stops.

sarahnh · 13/11/2007 20:43

is anyone like me, vowing to take note of all my symptoms each month in the hope not to obsess the following month, but then stupidly not doing it and obsessing all over again???

I geninuely think i'm losing the plot!

Anyway - there's plenty of time for being sensible when we're pregnant! For now just lets enjoying peeing on sticks. I must check my supply of OPK's.

I worry about stress - ho ho ho at the irony of that comment.

I do have a fairly hectic and pressured job and I also lately have tended to upset myself fairly easily with this whole pregnant as a surprise then mc then ttc business. I used to say 'stress is what you do to yourself' and be fairly blase about the fact that I coped with my life without feeling unduly stressed. Now I realise it is indeed what you do to yourself and I'm doing it to me.

I do need to chill out. Maybe the fact that my first BFP was when not expecting it whoul teach me a lesson.

So what can we do to take our minds off ttc whilst posting in the ttc forum?

How premature was DD? And how old is she now? You're very lucky I love little girls. I have two nieces and I adore them, so much more fun than my (much loved) nephew.

ClairePO · 13/11/2007 22:06

whoul = should

obviously
