Just checking in and so pleased to see 2 BFP's congratulations Twighlight & Foghorn Lets hope that's the start of the next batch of BFP's

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 06/12/2007 21:28

Congratulations Twilight and FoghornLeghorn. Do you know I am so slow I had to google FoghornLeghorn to see what it was . My DP told me and I didn't know what he was talking about. Now that I do, I too think it is a cool name .

TwilightSurfer · 06/12/2007 22:00

Well I just got back from having bloods drawn for HCG and Progesterone tests. If I really am pregnant these will be my baseline and I'll have them checked every little bit to make sure the pregnancy is progressing properly. (that's a bit of tongue twister.)

Excitable I think I had my test flip flopped. I'll be smarter when the doc calls on Monday to discuss the results.

Sparkling glad your happy with arrival of AF. That was a long wait.

Thanks for all the congrats. I'll hold on to them for a few days while I wait for bloodwork to ease my fears.

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 06/12/2007 22:03

Twilight I am soo happy for you. . There must be some truth in the 'being more fertile after MC' thing! Didn't you wait ages for your first BFP?

TwilightSurfer · 06/12/2007 22:12

Last BFP took 13 cycles...MCed at 10weeks...28 days later another BFP. Odd isn't it.

BuckytheRedNosedReindeer · 06/12/2007 22:13

Odd but FAB .

undertheMRSEI25toe · 06/12/2007 22:47

HUGE congrats to all the BFP's!! foghorn and twilight what a lovely result for the both of you!!
for those who have been caught by AF!! {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}} for you all xx
how is everyone getting on?
how are my cycle buddies?? shreksmissus emmsy you both holdin up ok? i have officially fallen into 'have i havent i' testing too early circle!! i promised myself i would wait and up to now i have wasted 2 tests 1 being a clearblue one but hey ho still hope for me as iv got about 3 days left before i get a visit so fingers crossed!! ah well we have all been there...
i am still having my very confusing symptoms which i either have never noticed before and are normal for me or are a sign of things-a-growin the sore (.)(.), heartburn, feelin sick, really tired but plagued by insomnia (had this with DD from day one!![shock), cryin at the drop of a hat (jeremy kyle is the most recent cause and i never cry at anythin!!) all of these are causing me to get super excited and then when i get th BFN!! i should just wait but we all say that dont we!!
anywho...
xx ei xx

Yay, CD5! Now it feels like I am properly moving through my cycle, instead of stalled on day 1.

I decided this morning that I have officially become a loser, as I was idly working out exactly how much work time I would have left if I actually got pregnant this month (never going to happen, due to family history of poor fertility, but I can dream!). With all holiday for next year taken just as I left on mat leave and a couple of weeks of mat leave before due date, I could be looking at only 6.5 months more work. Feel free to slap me for my geekiness! You have to get your kicks somewhere when you work in finance...

Deffo gonna ask about PCOS and check my thyroid again. I dont know what else really.

teeheelaydee · 07/12/2007 14:42

hopefully Can't tell you off for geekiness as have been known to do that myself Usually when having a bad day but even so I really shouldn't.
Glad to know I'm not the only one though.

undertheMRSEI25toe · 07/12/2007 14:42

ok so AF due in 2 days and got a BFN this morn one of many i suppose!!
i know its only my first official month but its still a little disheartening when you see the space where there should be a line you know what i mean. i think i am a bit hormonal ( af ones i think) so i feel a little bit down today i have been misdirected by my symptoms and it made me get my hopes up
xx ei xx

teeheelaydee · 07/12/2007 14:45

Just read the end of your post and I kind of work in finance too ! There we have an excuse now.

THL, clearly it's a side effect of thinking about numbers all day.

ooh, AF has finally bogged off again (I got used to her only putting in a 2 day appearance when I came off the injection ages ago, and now consider it to be most unreasonable if I have to suffer for more than 48 hours!), so I can get on with the fun bit of ttc.

Am going to just go for every other day for a while (dp will actually think it's christmas), since I'm trying to avoid being obsessive in month one and attempting to spot ovulation. Probably will still be analysing cm etc though...

fruitloop79 · 08/12/2007 08:09

As I'm up early, thought I would update everyone

Hope all correct

Wow...there is nobody here . Hello? (hello hello hello...bucky's voice echoes in the empty waiting room)

twinklingfairy · 08/12/2007 21:14

Has everyone scarpered over to the 2ww thread?
But look, I have my party hat on, please come back

santasmissus · 08/12/2007 21:20

don't worry girls, i'm going to be herer forever i think

07mumstheword · 08/12/2007 21:43

We are up to 1000 msgs and I was really worried we would get stopped so I have started a new thread not very inventive but desperate.

It is called TTC waiting room stay as long as you like part 3.

I'm so sorry but don't get how to do links and I'm too tired so if anyone else can link that'll be great. If not just got to my profile (central icon next to envelope on the right hand side) and choose it from my most recent posts.

Hope no one minds but thought I'd better do it incase we get maxed out.

I'm just going to get the list now.

07mumstheword · 08/12/2007 21:51

I'm giving it a shot so here goes for a link
