FL - sorry about the BFN but you have tested mega early, give it another 2 days at least then retest.

biglips - I don't want to get your hopes up but thats what happened to me AF due Weds, BFN on ebay cheapies Sunday, the faintest of faint lines on Tuesday and Wednesday, BFP on CBD on Weds, I have come to the conclusion that ebay cheapies are useless until AF is actually late, took me 5 days after AF due to get a BFP, time before that had 3 BFNs on ebay cheapies, 3 days after AF was due BFP on CBD. I would say it's looking good if you are getting a v faint line.

digitalgirl · 12/11/2007 15:12

GG CD4 already . You'll be back in business by the weekend!

biglips · 12/11/2007 15:31

yes i know that the Ebay cheapie do have a bad-ish reputation and i havent got my hopes up , as ive had it in my head that i am NOT pg....till ill rcve my CB digital..i ordered it last night so it be wed/thurs i hope it arrive.

biglips · 12/11/2007 15:38

so it is possible to have a vvvvvv faint line on ebay cheapie stick and have a BFN on CB digital?? as i think you do dont ya?

sweetkitty · 12/11/2007 15:45

I don't know about getting a faint line on an ebay cheapie then a BFN on a CBD as it's never happened to me. I think ebay cheapies are OK as long as your past AF due date.

This is what I did (it's the scientist in me) dip one Ebay cheapie in your wee and at the same time one in water or better still ask your DH for a sample, compare the two at the same time. My water one had no line AT ALL near it but the wee one had the faintest of faint lines. With mine it took a good few minutes for the very faint line to show as well.

When is your AF due?

Well DD1 was feeding about 4-5 times a day at least when I got pregnant with DD2, my periods came back 4 weeks after lochia stopped.

Someone told me that if you have at least a 4 hour gap between feeds theres a good chance you will ovulate.

biglips · 12/11/2007 15:50

it is due between 14 - 16th nov

I'm another one feeling like I'm out of the running this month. AF due tomorrow and a tiny bit of spotting today, plus feeling very pre-menstrual (grrr, snap, grrr). Ho hum another month, another egg...

Spink · 12/11/2007 20:29

pistachio - I'm still bfing, every 4 hours or so, and I fell preg in Sept (but then miscarried - like Starlight this apparently had nothing to do with breastfeeding)
So. it is possible.
For both our sakes, I hope it will happen soon! how old is your dc?

sweetkitty · 12/11/2007 21:08

for Starlight and GGG

TwilightSurfer · 12/11/2007 21:35

Hi. I'd like to lurk for a while. I miscarried Friday evening so can't ttc for a bit. Technically I'm a graduate of this thread . I guess that makes me an odd ball of sorts. Trying to stay positive because I truly believe nature does things for a reason. I thought hanging out here might help me stay positive as my hormones begin to drop. I've never gone through anything like this before so I don't know what to expect. Physically I've felt wonderful since "it" happened...I assumed I'd feel like a train wreck, boy was I wrong.

Are there any cakes left or should I pop out for some more?

sweetkitty · 12/11/2007 21:46

TS - oh so so sorry about the mc, I remember you got your BFP the month before me theres another mc thread and it's been a great source of support for me whilst having the mc, ttc and even now I'm newly pregnant again. You will get through it and come out the other end.

Thanks Sweetkitty. What's the name of the mc thread? Am I correct in saying you conceived again very quickly??

sweetkitty · 12/11/2007 21:58

TS the mc thread is here, it's a lovely support thread mc thread

I had my mc on the 11th August, had two AFs and got my BFP on the 31st October, feel very lucky but am very nervous as well

TwilightSurfer · 12/11/2007 22:07

That's wonderful news. Congratulations. I'm sure all will go well for you this time.

ClairePO · 12/11/2007 22:21

Hi TwilightSurfer, so sorry about your mc please do come see on the ttc after mc thread, everyone is supportive and lovely

Bucky2007 · 12/11/2007 22:37

Aw shucks..Twilight I am soo sad now . You seem to be really strong. It never ceases to amaze me how resilient you all are. MC are the worst thing EVER, I cried for days, but I agree with what you say...everything (I hope) happens for a reason. You had been trying for so long though
