@Motherofkittens28 I feel the same about the ovaleap! I'd rather just draw it manually with insulin needles 😩 I'll be coming to you for advice then if you had that one. There's so much to remember how to use it 😳
I don't remember being in that much after my lap, but then mine was for a different reason. Get the turkey baster out 😂

My IVF clinic has my NHS scan and the consultants happy for me to carry on as planned. I asked how many mature follicles I ended up with on the Clomid and I have 6 on my left ovary and 1 on my right.

@notyetamumbuttrying it is! There's no escape at all 😂

@Crazydoglady123 no not yet, I've got a Tesco delivery Thursday though lol yes I think my brain muddled everything into one! Thats a lot of mature ones! And wow that's a lot of drugs!!

@crazycatlady1981 great that you've got your date too. My son was born 22nd december it's an awkward one having a birthday so close

@Crazydoglady123 that pic is madness! I think if OH saw that it would the first time it would dawn on him what a big deal and effort IVF is. Atm he seems to think it's not big deal we might end up going that route and seems to be fairly confident that means we'll definitely have a baby...

@aimzie never tried it but been on other threads where people conceived using just that and no... interactive BD shall we say? So clearly does the trick in helping swimmers get to where they need to!

@Juno231 it only sunk in to my OH after the appointment explaining what injections to take when and to do what that he turned round to me and said it's actually pretty intense on a woman this isn't it. I was like finally you get it! Tbh it's still sinking in with me. I can't think about it too much or I feel like I'll freak out a bit.

Talking of the Ferti-Lily cup, I have one which I ordered off Amazon- obv haven't used it and it's still in its packet but if anyone wants it I'm happy to post it? Guessing it's unreturnable and saves it being a waste me throwing it. Also have a new box of preseed too.

@Aimzie yes I have one! Used it for a few cycles but nothing, might dig it out this month!

Mm yes I read a few ones where women conceived on the second cycle with it 👀
Mm i just think it looks like you'd pull it all out again after taking it out after an hour lol but sure will try it out along with preseed again next time 😁😁

@Aimzie yes I've used mine a few times, it hasn't worked for us yet but obvs we have issues 🙄 I'm on a group though where everyone has one and one lady fell pg first or second month so far. I believe the idea is that they've all swam off to where they need to be by the time you take it out haha

@Juno231 I think it's odd when people use the ferti-lily without actually dtd I mean that's not actually what it's for lol it's just to push up the swimmers towards where they need to go!

@Marvellouslymadmum works great though if he deposits his swimmers into it and you push it up in there! If only we could get hold of swimmers without needing men full stop...

Theres nothing like being told my the clinic that you cant have sex for a month.....to make you actually want to have sex again hahaha! Never thought I'd see the day 😂😂

@crazycatlady1981 i had the same thought about Christmas baby- but after do long it doesnt matter does it! Plus labour wards are quieter around that time apparently as all the fertile unicorns stop trying for a month as they have the privilege of being able to do that hahaha

@Annny27 haha damn fertile unicorns! I guess that ties in with maternity wards being swamped in Sep because the unicorns all want to time it well with the school year. My friends has two kids - one born in Oct and the other in Nov - both first cycle babies timed perfectly with school starts, clothes sharing (as in she had all the winter wear ready for the next newborn) and no overlap of birthdays...

Fertilily is like a mooncup but shallow - designed to keep the swimmers up by the cervix to improve your chances.

So I've been to see my consultant today. They're testing my blood to see if there is an issue after my miscarriage as now acknowledging that I've had a few.
They were really hopeful despite my low AMH. Said it's all positive that I've conceived before.
I'm booked in for scans etc which are in 12 weeks time.
If I do fall pregnant I have to contact them ASAP so they can get me looked at as I'm now higher risk due to my miscarriage history. Don't know how I'm feeling to be honest. It's not negative so I should feel a tad happier, I think I'm just a bit meh as it's been so long. I'm terrified as don't want another MC as last month was horrific.

@Annny27 it's awful! I've just been googling low amh, normal afc and all sorts today, went right down a rabbit hole! These two weeks need to hurry the eff up!!
@Theawkwardblonde I'm glad you're being looked after now. It's sad that they have to wait for 3 MCs to do so but just take solace that you're being looked after now so hopefully no more MCs now 😘

@Juno231 😂 I think you can pay for the kind of service! I think with the size of the ferti-lily there would be rather a lot of 'splash back' from doing that! 💦

@Annny27 it's a little cup thing a bit like a menstrual cup that you insert after sex to push the swimmers higher toward the cervix, supposed to be good for mfi and has lots of good reviews too.

Evening all, no results from my covid test yet, hopefully they will ring first thing and give me the all clear! I'm hating being back at work, if I wasn't in the middle of this journey I'd seriously be looking for something else! Also my wedding venue called me today and almost tried to talk me into cancelling as they are almost certain there will still be significant restrictions come our wedding day in July. I'm now feeling all depressed about it, apparently even if we have no number restrictions we probably won't be allowed music and dancing and everyone will have to wear masks and social distance!

@Motherofkittens28 oh no!! What will you do? A socially distanced wedding with masks would be a bit strange 😕

@Motherofkittens28 that sucks about the wedding. I have a couple of friends who have theirs booked for this summer and autumn and they are feeling confident it will happen. I think you just have to keep positive and hopefully it will. My husband and me had our wedding in June 2019 and we booked it late in 2018 so almost delayed it to 2020 - I really lucked out getting in there in 2019!

I'm also staying in my current job purely down to TTC it pains me that I stayed for the last year and a half for no reason as I haven't got pregnant yet. What kind of job do you have? Fingers crossed the covid test is clear 🤞

@Motherofkittens28 that's rubbish! Can you not look at an outdoor venue? Friends of ours had one a few years ago and it was beautiful.
