@Kitte321 thanks hun, I'm quite confident about ivf, it's more the natural that's causing me anxiety but I suppose the means of getting pregnant doesn't really matter. Just as long as I get pregnant eh! It's all speculation until I get to speak to the nhs on the 6th. I'll be more informed then. Thanks for the reassurances tho 😘 it's all so confusing isn't it 😣
How shorts your luteal phase btw? Are you on b vits for it?

@Kitte321 I also have a short LP, what have you tried for it? I'm on B complex and Progesterone pessaries. First 2 cycles with B complex only, I conceived but mc at 4.5 weeks. On second cycle with progesterone now. Got a 12 day LP last time, hoping for 13 this time 🤞🏻

@notyetamumbuttrying anything from 7 (that was a particularly bad month!) to 10. I guess I was hitting 9 on the avg month. Tried everything (B vits, Vitex, Vit C, acupuncture) nothing made the slightest bit of difference.
The progesterone pessaries (which are a delight!!) have done the job.

@notyetamumbuttrying mine don’t see too close either, and sadly not outstanding enough to get the bloody egg to meet the sperm 😂

They’re all in there just being lazy ass follicles. Sounds like me tbh.

I think of it all as a rough guide, I suppose. But if nothing else it made me less worried about perimenopause, my mother claims her menopause was early but I don’t know how much I trust her memories, she’s very vague.

@Kitte321 how many days have you got now with the progesterone pessaries?

Hello @GlassLily I didn’t have a period at all last cycle until I stopped taking them at 14dpo. It then took 3 days for period to start. So it’s a bit annoying that I know the cycle has failed but have to wait. Today I got a BFN at 12dpo.
Loads preferable to the anxiety of my period starting early constantly thou. I just hope at some point I get pregnant 🤦‍♀️

That's brilliant - mine started while I was still taking the pessaries which I thought was pretty crap. That was only 200mg though, I'm on 400mg now. Yes, annoying about the extra wait (makes my cycle ~ 32 days if I get to a full LP) but like you say, better than the alternative. Also annoying to have to test every month, and I worry about getting a false negative and stopping the progesterone, then having a mc.

@Kitte321 so sorry for your bfn. I'm testing on Thursday but not feeling like it's my month either. We will get there! Stupid short LP 😫

@GlassLily yes I’m on 400mg twice a day. I know what you mean about the testing - I just dread it. I also have no idea at any point whether I am pregnant as I know that any symptoms are probably just the progesterone.

@Narwhal88 no trigger on Clomid, the two trigger injections are for the IVF. I have everything crossed for you for your EC 🤞

@notyetamumbuttrying even if I wanted to I could as firstly have to abstain as start the ivf drugs next week which would affect the pregnancy and secondly if I was to get pregnant to one or ten if I get even a mild form of OHSS from this pregnancy makes it worse. Have you got any news on the date for your lap yet?

@Kitte321 I know what you mean. I'm constantly symptom spotting, then have to remind myself it's just the progesterone. I weirdly look forward to testing because even though it's dreadful and miserable to see a BFN, I find it's better than the constant questioning in the week beforehand.

@Kitte321 do you get terrible bloating with the progesterone? I am so bloated that I'm worried people will start asking if I'm pregnant, which will totally make me cry 😂 I look huge 😱

@GlassLily I find the symptoms lots worse for the first few days - bloating, feeling tearful (defo not me!) and nausea. Then it all subsides like my body adjusts. Though If it gets me pregnant/prevents another miscarriage I’d gladly stuff 10 up there 😂

So I’ve just worked out that if I miraculously got pregnant this cycle, my due date would be Christmas Day, which obviously wouldn’t be ideal, but given that right now I’ll happily take a baby any day of the week and that Sod’s Law states that I’ll get pregnant this month, we’re gona go at it like rabbits and hope for the best! 🤞🏻😀🤣 🐇 🐇🐇

Sorry I've been a bit absent I'm very impatient waiting for my fw to start! Last time I had my flashers by now but cd9 and still a big fat ⭕️ on top of that I had the weirdest dream last night - I wasn't at a private scan and they told me I had an afc of 31 but it was very odd as I had 30 on the right and only 1 on the left which was probably why I hadn't got pregnant because it gave me little chance every other month! But this month I had 4/5 eggs about to be released from the right side and they didn't know why 😂 @Crazydoglady123 I think I may have been channeling you in my dreams but I've no idea where the dodgy afc came from lol

@Kitte321 I'm glad the pessaries helped! I can imagine they're like the thrush ones that make everything chalky right?! 😬 sorry for the bfn.

@notyetamumbuttrying I feel your pain. That 'limbo' state is the most frustrating bit for us women! Could you not just get you AMH re done privately if you're stressing over it? I'm sleeping really lightly atm and waking up so many times tossing and turning 😣 I'm dreading after ovulation this month as last time where my ovaries were swollen and the cysts I couldn't sleep on my side or front as too painful and I struggle to sleep on my back.

My IVF meds arrive in the next two hours 😬

@Crazydoglady123 I just need to suck it up, it's only two weeks away now so I'll save my money and hope the nhs do it. Gosh that sounds hellish! Hope it's not the same this time round.

I’ve just got my zoom appointment date with satellite clinic through for 12th April!! Yay! It’s just before my next period starts (assuming I don’t get my Christmas Day miracle baby!) so hopefully we’ll be able to start ivf next cycle!! 🤞🏻😄

@crazycatlady1981 yay to an apt date! I think I'll be on similar timings to you then! My April period is two weeks after our appointment so if we can get going that quickly we'll be starting then! Will keep fingers crossed for the Christmas miracle baby in the meantime! 🤞🏾

@Crazydoglady123 I see you've got the ovaleap, what dose to they have you on? The pen really freaked me out at first, especially when I had to do one dose from two pens but it was actually fine and I was worrying over nothing!

I've not been keeping up very well at present, I feel so in limbo as we arent trying right now due to having to keep 2 metres apart! Had my pre op covid test yesterday so waiting to hear if that comes back clear and then lap is on Thursday. I'm wondering if we would be able to dtd afterwards as it's my fertile time, I do remember my first lap being very painful but I dont recall how long it lasted. Maybe we could resort to artificial insemination instead? The things we have to resort to!

@crazycatlady1981 like I'm not looking forward to the pain but i just don't want anything to interfere or delay my ivf now. Great news about your appointment I can tell you Xmas day baby's are...challenging haha. DS was due 13th but was two weeks overdue and was induced on 27th December. I had the whole of Xmas in limbo as to if he was coming or not 😂 I just did a pregnancy calculator on my IVF transfer date and it's 17th Jan due date.
