@Crazydoglady123 ah you should do something nice darling. Thanks for the tips, have peppermint tea in and I guess prune juice for the potential constipation! Check. Can I get charcoal tablets at a local shop? Meant to be self isolating so will need to send Dh out for them.

So ladies, my rapid Covid test didn't arrive yesterday...who thinks my surgery will get cancelled now?! 😬 I tried calling the dept but obvs no one was in as it's the weekend. Tried the main hospital and the operator just said it might come at 9pm...it did not. Will call again today but not holding out much hope!

@notyetamumbuttrying anyone can get a rapid covid test now so have a look on your councils.website and book one for today?

@notyetamumbuttrying I can't really do much as have to isolate as much as poss during treatment. My mum said she'll pop in the garden after work but tbh I know if it's not good news on my scan I'll feel crappy anyway so I'm kind of pleased not doing much. I think I ordered mine off Amazon before. Rubbish news about the Covid test! I'd definitely pick up a LFT from your nearest location and use that as a back up just in case

@notyetamumbuttrying I bet you must know someone that has some tests? Everyone seems to have them!

@Annny27 had a look and it won't come in time for Tuesday op, my best bet is to go down to a test centre tomorrow (no slots left for today) but then I'm meant to be self isolating so will they still accept it knowing I've been out 🤷🏾‍♀️

If I can't sort my nhs one with a courier tomorrow then I'm gonna tell them I'm heading out to get it done and see what they say. Can't seem to find online which pharmacies are selling them. Will send Dh out down to the high st and see if he can pop in and ask them.
@paintfairy I do but my family and friends don't live in London. My dad actually offered me one of his last time I was round, i just laughed and said I don't need one, I should've taken it now 🙄

@notyetamumbuttrying if you can do it via a drive thru then that should be okay self isolation wise? What a ball ache! Can't believe (well, I can actually) they messed it up.

@Crazydoglady123 thank you 😊 I looked there earlier and gave up as I couldn't get it to zoom in properly but looked again and the Asda nearish to me is open so I'll go there or get Dh to.
@Juno231 yeah there's a drive through one at our nearest tube station but we don't have a car sadly. Thanks tho, think I'll go get one from Asda. Yeah I'm annoyed but not entirely surprised! How are you today?

@notyetamumbuttrying my hospital booked me one at the local hospital, they had a system set up for day surgery and they obviously didn't include my two trips to the hospital as breaking isolation (I also had to have bloods and mrsa tests in the week before my surgery) I can't believe they were relying on the postal system! Defo go get a drive through one done tomorrow.

@Motherofkittens28 it's madness right! No car unfortunately so can't do the drive through. Asda didn't have tests today so will have to try again tomorrow if the nhs can't organise a same day courier or offer me the test Tuesday morning before surgery.

@Motherofkittens28 same here actually - my pre lap covid test is at the hospital itself! Like you said, it's madness relying on the post 🙊

I am pleased to report that AF has arrived right on schedule as expected! Now I can get my scratch booked in with the clinic and we should be on track to start our second ivf cycle around 8th May. First time I've been happy to see it arrive but as we didn't dtd anywhere near ovulation there was no way I was pregnant.

@notyetamumbuttrying you'll be fine going just for that, I went over to the hospital for my covid test during my isolation x

Snap @Motherofkittens28 af rocked up today for me. Had a bit of a wobble earlier thinking that the next time she arrives, we'll be starting ivf!

@VenusStarr that's really cool, we should be starting exactly the same time then, do you have 28 days cycles? Mine are generally 27/28. I really can't wait to start again!

Normally about 25 days @Motherofkittens28, had a 28 day cycle this time after the letrozole. I think any time from about 5/6th May. Eek!
Havd you got any appointments before then? I've got my nurse appointment / injection session on 20 April :)

@VenusStarr I will have the scratch I think that's normally on day 21 but I'll phone tomorrow to book it. Otherwise not as far as I know but I might need another nurse appointment as they are changing my meds.

Period arrived 3 days early at 13dpo!
Kinda annoying as now my hycosy will be literally on the day of ovulation, potentially just after. But there we go.

@motherofkittens28 @venusstarr cycle buddies all of us - although I am not starting ivf unfortunately (maybe this 17th cycle since miscarriage will be the lucky one.....)

@notyetamumbuttrying I am almost convinced I have endo too btw - period cramps today had horrible bowel cramps and nearly threw up and was kealed over on bathroom floor in pain. Used to happen every period as a teen but only happens infrequently now!

I'm sorry @Annny27 I think that happened to me when I had my hsg, so we missed ttc that month (but I did conceive 2 cycles later) 🤞 sorry you've had horrible cramps too, hope it's easing.

@notyetamumbuttrying that's a nightmare with your Covid test! Everyone's supposed to be able to get them easily now 🙄

@Annny27 annoying the hycosy will be on ov day now, good to get it done though! Might be nice missing a month, give you a break from it. Ooh you could do! If you're with a fertility clinic be worth saying to see if you can get a lap booked to diagnose.

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm feeling a bit better now thank you, got to see some of my nieces and nephews today in the garden which was lovely - and made me want a little one even more! Think my sil is pregnant again (they have a 7 month old) too even though they've not announced yet x

I'm just frustrated with my cycle as after the lap and hsg and the norethisterone its looking like a longer cycle and I've had like ewcm for 7 days out of last 11, temp hasn't raised. feels a bit weird as we're being followed up 3 months so things will get sorted, trying to just have fun (whilst still sort of not missing the boat!) as whatever happens things are in motion but stalled at same time. Does mean we'll be ttc 22 months by June's review....bah! fingers crossed for everyone's tests, IVF, etc, hugs for those who have had AF and announcements x
