We've put TTC on the back burner this month as it just seems like too much on at the moment. We've still dtd but I've not tracked etc as not really in the right mindset.

I'm still off work which is both a blessing and a hindrance as it's got my mind going in overdrive.
DH and I have had some difficult discussions this last week around TTC, and if we put it off until MIL is hopefully better, and I've got the all clear from hospital regarding my health issues. It's just thrown a massive spanned in the works which wasn't needed!

@Crazydoglady123 I got mine day 10 of the buserelin, two days later than I would have expected for my natural cycle. Its common for it to delay AF, sometimes by quite a few days. I wish there was a test you could do to see if AF is on its way!
I'm due on tomorrow if the ivf and lap haven't messed up my cycles but in all honesty I have no idea where I am in my cycle. I've been getting some cramps but I dont think I ovulated so all my normal symptoms are absent!

Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time @Theawkwardblonde it sounds like things are really tough right now and I know there's nothing anyone can say to make it any easier. I just hope that things start to improve for you soon and that one day your wish for a baby comes true. In fact, I wish that for us all. That's what we all want.

We have officially been referred and funding is in place apparently 🎉 awaiting our ‘info pack’ from the unit and then I have been told to get in touch with the satellite clinic once received, can’t wait to see next steps etc now.

@VenusStarr just read your update from last night, all sounds positive and moving in the right direction then! I reckon we'll have a few going through ivf in May. Think I'll likely be June but just gotta sit tight and wait for the nurses call! 😬
@Crazydoglady123 the doc I saw on Tuesday said he'd start me on busereline on day 21 but then said probably earlier as I ov cd10/11. I don't actually know the size of my follicles but know I only have 12 (had two AFC's now and been 12 both times) so I'm a bit confused as to why this is the best course for me 🤔 do you think it could be to do with my low amh? 5.4. Really hope you can start Tuesday my love! Tuesdays the day of my lap too!

@Juno231 yep all booked in for Tuesday! Have my rapid response Covid test coming on Saturday so as long as I haven't got that I'm good to go! Need to pack a hospital bag on Sunday and work Monday and then I'm off! Will let you know how it goes. Apparently you can carry on ttc after two weeks if no complications which is right before ov for me. Can you imagine if we catch straight afterwards!! 🤩 I mean wishful thinking but fuck it 🤪

@notyetamumbuttrying I think people with lower egg reserve they like to use buserelin and then they can really stim you. I swear when I had my scan last Wednesday there was a lot of follicles on my right ovary 🙄 Fingers crossed for a good day Tuesday 🤞 Bet you're excited for your lap now

Feeling so down girls 😞frer was negative, was at 3pm tho, so il do another one at 8pm and in the morning but don't think it's looking good as I can't imagine that it could just disappear like that 🙄🙄 so frustrated

@notyetamumbuttrying same kinda timeline as me! Covid test on a Sat and lap on a Tuesday. I hadn't even thought about post lap TTC but luckily 2 weeks after takes me to just before the start of FW so that would be perfect. I'd be soo happy with a Feb baby but let's not get ahead of ourselves lol.

@thislittlebird @MiniBaker my sister didn't get pass although once came close. Unfortunately it didn't happen for her but that because due to her age (she was early 20s) they would do anything for ages and I think she was 7 years trying by the time she got to ivf but she hardly ever ovulated or had a cycle. I have cycles 33-45 days with clear temp rise once I have. The diagnosis has been easier as my sister has diagnosis first (there's a genetic link) my FSH and LH are in 'normal range however lh is double fsh aand should be roughly the same. I struggle with weight, anxiety, oily skin and facial spots and hair and body hair in other places. I have normal appearance ovaries but have a high afc of 33 (over 30 is pcos). Its a lot of things together however I don't have high BP or insulin resistance

@Aimzie no full on AF though...? Really feel for you, a bfn is one thing but to get lots of bfps and then bfn again. Not fair in the slightest 😩

Guess what... the soonest available SA appointment was the day of the fertility clinic appointment 😭 so I now need to call the fertility clinic and ask for a reschedule. Hope my husband has learned to listen to me!

I have to wait until tomorrow to speak to the fertility clinic as they close at 3.30 on Fridays. Will call tomorrow to try and sort it but I bet they reschedule for months later 🙄 definitely hoping it halogens naturally now if everything is being delayed further.

@2020mission can you book in privately for your dh's sperm analysis? We ended up going to a place that did same day results, cost £100 (actually cheaper than the nhs clinic privately and quick turn around). You just need to make sure it does the 3 readings. Don't cancel your fertility appointment xx
