Oh @Narwhal88 I'm so sorry to hear that, I really had hopes for you. I know how it feels from my failed cycle. You have two in the freezer though so I have everything crossed that one of those is the baby you've been wishing for. xx

Oh @Narwhal88 so sorry- big love to you! ❤ our friends who recently had a baby using a sperm donor took 3 attempts to get there, so there is hope! I know that's not helpful right now but I don't want any of us to lose hope! I believe we will all get our happy ending 1 way or another

@Marvellouslymadmum so sorry you're finding it so tough atm, very happy to chat privately if you wish, I'm still finding it hard to grapple getting my head around the real possibility of maybe not having a biological child. Fiancée and I been having some very hard conversations about it recently also 😓

@Aimzie I am so sorry, that is so, so cruel after so many years TTC to have 2 CPs teasing you like that. Just awful. Big hugs. I watch so many things about unwanted pregnancies and I think it's just not fair! All these women desperate to have a child of their own. Very unjust. I will continue to believe we'll get there in the end though.

@Narwhal88 oh I'm gutted for you, I really am. I know it's hard but try and remember sometimes the first cycle is almost like a test run. Your consultant will know more what to do for your second round. Have you still got to do your official test on Tuesday? Thinking of you lots ❤️

Thank you @kerrym87 much appreciated- it's jist ludicrous neither establishment has contacted me about it! I asked previously for extra in case this were to happen and was told no! I'm definitely going to insist now!

Thanks everyone. We do have 2 in the freezer and we get 2 cycles on the nhs so I know there is still hope but it doesn't stop the sadness as you know. It really is 50/50 luck on whether it works I think.
@Crazydoglady123 yes official test is Tuesday but loads of others have their OTD at 10dp5dt so I know I'm out. It means I have to keep injecting progesterone until then though which isn't fun.

My husband was really upset this morning, I think it affected him more than me as I did the test with him and he has never done that before. I said how this is what it is like every month for a woman and he said I can't believe you have been feeling this every month for nearly 2 years. Like he finally understood what the grief every month is like. Obviously it feels worse when it is ivf but the grief is still the same I think.

@Narwhal88 as hard as it is for you both, if him understanding what you've been dealing with comes out of it now then that is something. My OH doesn't "get it" either and thinks even though he's scared of needles that "it's only injections" I'm going through. Take care of yourself and allow yourself time. We're always here for you and rooting for you ❤️

@Narwhal88 big hugs to you both, it’s so exhausting and emotionally draining, but if we don’t try we’ll never know. You’re right, you do still have hope, it’s not over by a long shot! I’m glad he gets it more now but not glad you both feel so upset 😞

Thank you all, I'm feeling a little better after my wobble earlier, been on a course today which was great and family to see tomorrow outside for my nieces birthday (lots of little ones but I'm ok with that) @Crazydoglady123 I'm really trying not to give up hope but each month that goes by seems to take a little piece of it away and there's not that much left! Loving that meme!
@MIW01 thank you, it's such a hard thing to accept, I know we each have children but now they're all teenagers it's not the same and having one together would be so amazing,

@notyetamumbuttrying nothing 😒 Oh and a tip for your lap Tuesday, stock up on prune juice, peppermint tea and if you can get some charcoal tablets. They really help with the bloating from the gas after!

@Aimzie so sorry to hear about your CPs. Make sure you tell your consultant about them. I had two CPs back to back last year, and a MC this year. Consultant now says I class as high risk for any future pregnancies. It sounds bad, but it reassures me that if I ever fall again, they will get me in straight away for scans etc. Hope you're doing okay.

Been a lurker again as been back to work this weekend after a bit time off to deal with things. I hope everyone is doing okay. Genuinely cannot thank everyone in this thread for their support. I'm not the most active on here but it's just so lovely seeing how canny everyone is on here ☺️☺️
