@Motherofkittens28 yes it's definitely an excuse. She's not happy about any of it and so isn't bothered. I had 2 friends like that. One was just jealous. The other- I'm really not sure what her issue was. But she got married abroad and was a bit the same. But then tried to take over massive things like she was making up for not having her own here! I even let her. But it still didn't please her. You can't win with these people.
@2020mission results themselves don't usually take too long as they have to sort it there and then. Ours was around a week. But it's more the actual appointment. We were lucky and it was only about 2 weeks i think. But it literally just varies depending on how busy they are. If he's not done an SA though before and there's an issue, they like to wait 3 months before doing a second one. So it could delay things for later. Mine had to call. I just stood there and told him to sort it out. Luckily he did. But I don't see why you can't call.

@VenusStarr is there anything you can do to help your immune issues? What test did they do to find out? I wonder about me. I'm never ill!

Morning all. We had our review session this morning. They are going to change a bunch of things for my next ivf cycle, extra drugs during stimulation, adding lubion for extra luteal support and doing another endometrial scratch the cycle before. Hopefully it will all help the next cycle be more successful! Also they confirmed our local satellite clinic has reopened so most of our appointments will be 20mins drive rather than 50mins to the main clinic which was a big pain!
I've been crampy the last two days so hopefully that means AF will arrive as expected at the weekend, then I know we are only 28 days from starting a fresh cycle!

@paintfairy @VenusStarr I just asked my Dr about natural killer cells and he said steroids for the luteal phase are the recommendation and that I could try it if I wanted this time but there is a small risk of a baby developing a cleft lip. I said I'd leave it this cycle but might consider it in future if I need further cycles.

Hi everyone! Just had my first phone appt with the fertility clinic this morning - have to book in some more blood tests but they said everything looks great so far so we're probably unexplained and will be able to apply for IVF funding in Sept if we've no joy before then. She said IVF usually works really well for people who are healthy and unexplained. It's quite a while off yet but I'm really glad to have a timeline.

@Theawkwardblonde really sorry to hear you're having such a tough time, hope you and OH can take some time away from everything and take care of each other. Sending hugs.

@2020mission my OH took a while to call and had lots of excuses too! But when he finally did it was a couple of weeks for the appt and then a week for the results - sounds like it's really variable!

@Juno231 I'm fine with it all, just want to get started again. They are making all the changes I would have wanted, some people seem to have really had to fight for the clinic to change things so I'm glad that wasn't the case. Obviously the dream would be a natural pregnancy next cycle but that's pretty unlikely! Id love this to work and to be mini pregnant for the wedding and baby due a few weeks after I turn 40. I'd always said I wanted to have my baby before I was 40 and if it hadn't worked we'd give up, oh how silly that sounds now!

Not yet, be here by lunchtime, not feeling too positive now tho have a little spotting at 16dpo, probably af but hoping not as temps still up 😔

@Motherofkittens28 that sounds like a very positive appointment! So glad to hear they are making changes for your next cycle! There’s definitely a chance on your natural cycle now that you’ve had the lap done too!

@PeanutButterBrownies great to hear about your appointment! It’s so nice to have a plan in place even if it’s not for a little while! All the waiting around not knowing when things will happen is the worst! I’m also unexplained and we are both very healthy so that’s good to hear about ivf working well!

Had my jab yesterday and the fevery/headachy reaction kicked in overnight so got my feet up today and DH is running around looking after me for a change! 😬

I’ve plugged a tampon in and am trying to ignore... AF due today 🥱 have chased up bloods to see if we’re any closer to actual ivf referral paperwork being sent. Such a waiting game I think my life is passing me by sometimes!

Was due af yesterday but was even getting negative this morning, then had the cramps and spotting. I think the spotting is finished now but still a little crampy. Il grab the triple check one and maybe try tonight at 8. Oh girls I really hope this is real 😭❤️❤️❤️😊

10dpo brown spotting annoying happens every month so af arriving soon 😡 although aimzies spotting then bfp has given me false hope hahah!

Sorry ladies have been reading all your messages but lacking motivation to say my own things if that makes sense haha. I just have the same boring cycl2 pattern every month and samd symptoms always leading to no bfp 😂😂
