@Aimzie they're definitely positives! 🤞🏻 for a sticky little bean!! That light spotting is so common but they're strong lines, if you're passed when af due most should show up now. Good luck!

@notyetamumbuttrying love that one! I have now accepted that I wo be in my 3ps having my first baby now as turn 30 end of the year so this month was my last chance to be in my 20s. Which sounds ridic but given that I started ttc at 27!!! I thought I would have had a baby in my 20s haha

@PeanutButterBrownies it will definitely be here before you know it! I think because we wish away half the month each time and are watching everything constantly it makes time go very quickly

I did but they are all so so faint but I've went to the loo about 100 times today checking the spotting too so il have to just have patience now and wait a day or two ❤️ hoping this spotting stops soon, it hasn't filled a pad once but its making me anxious 😭

@PeanutButterBrownies it’s just the thyroid level - my fertility clinic wanted to see it increase before officially referring us to our chosen assisted conception unit, so once we’re referred I’m hoping for an initial appt to understand more about timeline and recommendations / meds etc. Just waiting from one appt to the next for months now.

I feel the same as you guys, reading comments but nothing new to say. Sick of my own story 🤣

Hi everyone, lots to catch up on!

@paintfairy I'm following an immune protocol with hydroxychloroquine daily and intralipids at ovulation and then prednisolone at ovulation until around 10 days and then test, if positive I'll be on the steroids until 16 weeks.

We had our ivf consultation today and the doctor said I might be better having a lower dose steroid from the start of my cycle and then increasing @Motherofkittens28

Had a really tiring day as our ivf consultation was first thing. I really like our consultant, he spent ages with us going through my recurrent miscarriages and the tests we've had.
We are doing mild ivf and because of my amh (5.9) he isn't anticipating we'll get lots of embryos, maybe just 2-3 so we need to prepare for maybe a day 3 transfer. We did discuss pgs testing too, but our last baby was chromosomally normal and with such small numbers we're not going to do it for this round.
Randomly though, I seem to have a 16mm follicle on one of my ovaries 🙄 even though af is due any day now and I have a corpus luteum on the other one, so I did ovulate (and used a trigger injection). He didn't think it was a cyst. But it's weird.
So we're taking a month off ttc (can't wait!) and we'll hopefully be getting started on my May period, so sometime mid-May, all being well. Got my nurse consultation in 2 weeks. X

@VenusStarr I had 2 x 50mm follicles and 1 x 60mm cyst still there days after ovulating on my last scan

Oh really? @Crazydoglady123 are you in lots of discomfort?? I feel a bit tender after he's been prodding. Do they just keep growing then? So it's not affected your cycles in any way? Am a bit worried it'll delay ivf (although I'd rather that be sorted before starting).
I messaged my recurrent mc specialist but not heard back yet. Really regretting doing the letrozole cycle now.... 🙄 Xx

@VenusStarr my scan was with my IVF consultant the day I was due to start down regs and he wanted to delay the cycle but I got upset so he had a think and decided to let me start a day later on the buserelin. The buserelin is meant to shrink the follicles but it's a bit up in the air if I'll be able to start stims when planned (my next scan is on Tuesday so will know then). I was uncomfortable but whether just a coincidence the afternoon of the first day of down regs the pain and discomfort eased. The scan before the one with my IVF consultant I had 7 follicles ranging from about 30mm-50mm each. Hope it doesn't delay you too much!

Hi Everyone, sorry to just jump in but just wanted to know if anyone knows what the normal range is for Antral Follicle Count? What is normal amount for each ovary? And does the amount of follicles you have change throughout your cycle? Me and @sunshineandshowers3 have just recently been for scans but trying to make sense of the numbers is difficult. Any wisdom appreciated 🙏 xx

@VenusStarr thats great news, we are starting our second cycle in May AF depending so we can be cycle buddies

@MiniBaker I'm not sure about a normal range but it can change every cycle. I had 9 at my AFC scan and only 5 during my ivf cycle. My Dr today said he never pays much attention to AFC as the AMH is indicative of how many eggs you should get. Follicle count is quite relevant for OHSS risk though (definitely not an issue for me!)

@Motherofkittens28 I see - maybe mine is a bit high then ... I had 13 on one side and 14 on the other when I went for my scan. Is that not normal? The nurse said it was normal but it sounds a bit high now to me...

@MiniBaker this is on my IVF clinics site. For reference my AFC was 18 and my AMH was 17.6
