Temp plummeted today so am expecting AF to show tomorrow. No BD next cycle due to lap so cycle 18 in May will be my next shot. Feels weird to miss a month - I've not done that before!

@Crazydoglady123 i don't remember feeling sore, although I did have some impressive bruising by the end of it all from all the jabs!
@juno231 so sorry to hear that, it never gets any easier does it? Skipping months isn't great, we had to skip one for my hycosy and then also this cycle because of the timing of the lap. I'm just wishing away the days for AF now so we can get on to the next cycle! We have our counselling session tomorrow and our ivf review session on Thursday, I looking forward to hearing their recommendations and hopefully getting the go ahead to do another ivf cycle in May!

That's really positive things this week for you @Motherofkittens28. The one piece of information I'm trying to hold onto is that the first IVF cycle is often almost an experiment as to how you respond to the medication.
I usually bruise like a peach but haven't yet. I read muscle ache and abdominal pain is a side effect. I just want my scan now 🙄 (I'm so impatient)

@Narwhal88 how are you doing today lovely? Remind me how many days post transfer are you now?

@Crazydoglady123 that was my exact thought when I was in the first cycle, not really expecting it to work, i was surprised how upset I was when it didn't given my mindset going in. I'm with you on the impatience, I'm not the most patient of people anyway but ttc really brings it out! Im dying at the moment not trying and not in the ivf process, i just want to be in with a chance again! I'm thinking of you in your process, you were so very supportive when I was going through mine and it really meant a lot!

@Motherofkittens28 aww thank you lovely. I don't think the mix of hormones being pumped into you exactly helps with your mindset too well tbh. You'll feel so much better when you have a plan on place again. Mays really not that far off. Time is flying by especially now we're allowed to do more things. I feel really anxious atm as it's so up in the air as to what the plan is for me. Obv originally it was buserelin for 14 days then stims but because of my consultant chopping and changing his mind because of my cyst and talking of my buying more buserelin I don't know how long I'll be staying on buserelin for 🙄

Can I join the donkey bus?

Im 32, trying for number 1 since March 2018, so just over 3 years now. Had a fertility clinic appointment 1.5 years ago and everything is fine. Need to lose weight for a hycosy scan so been putting off the 2nd appointment . Next one is July so trying my best to stick to my diet and hopefully get approved for it.

@Crazydoglady123 currently cd14. BBT looks good, so just trying to enjoy the BD!

@Motherofkittens28 I'm 6dp5dt today and have been going insane up to today but back at work which is distracting me. Have been quite upset the last couple of days as convinced it hasn't worked. Really sorry to hear about your MOH, what a strange situation. I agree with everyone else in that a wedding is more important. Does she have a controlling family? My family can demand I attend things sometimes and it can be difficult to go against them.

@Crazydoglady123 my lower abdomen is tender but I think it's from all the injections at this point. The progesterone injections have been worse than stims.

@Narwhal88 if it helps most of the people on my ivf group had zero symptoms and the majority got BFPs

@Narwhal88 well this isn't the side of her family she is close to and they live up north so I doubt she has seen them more than once a year ever. They have refused to change the date apparently. Doesn't change the fact that she could have made a different choice though. She doesn't seem to think she has made a choice.

@MrsChicken89 gosh that's a while! Is the big gap between appointments purely due to the weight loss they're requesting? What a pain!

@narwhal88 We're all rooting for you, no symptoms means nothing - I swear most don't get any anyway!

@notyetamumbuttrying I've tried everything but just can't stick to it for long, even with all the motivation. Currently calorie counting and walking as 6 miles a day.

@Juno231 there was 6 months between appointments, but I just keep pushing them back, she made me feel awful the first time so I'm dreading going back without a big weightloss behind me.

@Narwhal88 yeah maybe that's what mine is. Progesterone injections are meant to be the worst ones 👀 Don't stress about no symptoms. When I had DS I had hardly any symptoms.

Feeling so emotional today. I'm so annoyed as I've been in such a good place the last few weeks and had a friend messaged me to say she's pregnant (she doesn't know we're TTC) but she has a few kids already and so it's just knocked me. I just keep crying and now feel so fragile 😔

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm really trying not to but now I've discovered my Lp likes to move around each month I've no idea when af is due anyway 🤷🏼‍♀️ could be anywhere from two days ago until next Monday!

@Crazydoglady123 so sorry you're feeling low today, baby news isn't easy ever is it! I'd guess the extra hormones are making the emotions more active too.

@Yutes my bbt barely changes from my fp to Lp, it's literally 0.1-0.2 difference

@Marvellouslymadmum that’s interesting. I think I have evidence of ovulating once and my bbt did rise significantly. But I’m not sure i ovulate on my own. Day 21 bloods should help. although I think it’s technically day 22 bloods. But whatcha gonna do?

@Yutes I did look it up (good old google) amd it does say it can be a sign of not ovulating which is what I suspect anyway so would make sense but I'm speaking to the doc this week about it. I've had day 21 test once (which was on day 22) and they came back at progesterone 64 or something so the doc just said yes yes that's fine you're ovulating! I don't see how that means I do every month though 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Marvellouslymadmum it’s encouraging though! Well , fingers crossed for me. Bloods next week should confirm or mean a retest the following week. I had a good feeling this time, when I started letrozole. So may I continue to feel hopeful and not hopeless.
