@Annny27 @MiniBaker I did have a chemical in January 2020 and then August 2020 and I wondered if those triggered the spotting as they were pregnancies even if they were only a few days long? Have either of you had chemicals? It's possible you have even if you don't know as a lot of the time they are missed unless you test early. I've had my spotting start today so it means I'm out this cycle but will have another 2-4 days of the spotting before AF kicks in 😑

@Dogmum13 I actually have quite minimal symptoms these days, just really painful ovulation that can absolutely floor me for a couple of hours. However, my symptoms back 13 years ago when I had my first lap were all around painful sex, that went away after that treatment. When I was a teenager I had horrifically painful periods and would be lying on the bathroom floor crying in pain. It seems to have been really variable over time. It goes to show its true what they say, you can have quite a bit of it with minimal symptoms as I'm stage 3.

@2020mission that's an interesting theory as some months I spot for days before AF and that's exactly what happened on my ivf cycle, I spotted 5/6 days before AF arrived, from 3 days after transfer. I've not seen a positive test in all my time of trying though

@2020mission I tested the first month and second month TTC but since then I have never tested as I find it too upsetting and prefer to just wait for AF so possibly could have had chemicals but I have never tested so I wouldn’t know... I’ve been spotting since Tuesday now and AF still not properly here! So annoying as I’m booked in for my ultrasound and AMH on Tuesday 30th and now I’m thinking if I don’t come on today I should probably reschedule it ...

@Motherofkittens28 I do hope you're feeling better today, it's quite strange to know that endo can be such a sneaky little thing! Especially when it can get right in the way when ttc

Well I'm glad we've been dtd every other day anyway, I got my first flashing smiley yesterday and a static today cd12! Last month had flashy from 6-12 then static in 13 confirmed by a dip in bbt too, only very slight but my whole chart is like that anyway it's so subtle it's hard to spot any changes! Funnily enough I even had some ovulation twinges yesterday but they were on both sides and lasted longer than usual so I thought I was imagining things and it was too early! @MiniBaker over the last 2 years plus TTC I've started spotting now 3-5 days before AF. My fertility consultant says it's normal though and not worried. Re your ultrasound and AMH you can be on your period so don't reschedule. I was due on for when mine was but still spotting at that point.

@Crazydoglady123 two months in a row for ovulation woohoo these suppliments must be doing a good job! Is it possible to have ovulation pain in both sides though? Funny it felt like a stretching sensation this time where as usually it's just twinges/sharp pain and lasts a shorter time 🤔

@Sjhigs yeah have heard that one gets all the worse reactions. Glad you're at the other side of it now! What date is your private consultation?
@MiniBaker pink grapefruit juice is better than the golden one if that helps but both are a bit nasty tasting. On the other group we call it ass juice 😝 defo try the evening primrose oil though!
@PeanutButterBrownies how long until your next appointment? Defo don't assume the worse, hard to do tho when things aren't happening right!

@Marvellouslymadmum it is possible but more common when treatments involved (like Clomid) but maybe the things you've been trying your body's responded to really well!

Urgh @notyetamumbuttrying never gets easier having AF arrive even when you know it's unlikely it's happened every cycle! 😔 I'm feeling cramps this morning so I don't think I'm far behind you. I'll be getting a full caffeine latte and a cake from a coffee shop nearby when it does and pouring a wine that night. Definitely get yourself some treats!

@RobinRose I'm feeling pretty rough still, my throat is killing me from the breathing tube and ice got shoulder tip pain that's quite painful. im just generally wipped out.
@notyetamumbuttrying they weren't clear on recovery time but didn't seem impressed with my plan to go back to work on Monday. The good news is the surgeon said I didn't need to wait any longer for my next ivf cycle, so fingers crossed I can go again in early May! He did say not to ttc this month though, but perhaps more because I'm due to ovulate this weekend than anything, although he did say he hadn't spotted a follicle that looked ready to ovulate, might be the after effects of ivf!

@RobinRose take paracetamol, wear a hat 👒 and hope he doesn't notice? 🤷🏼‍♀️ if he does maybe you could pass it off as role play 😂

@Motherofkittens28 sorry you're still feeling rough but great news about the next round of ivf! I would imagine getting all the endo cleared with definitely have a positive effect on your chances too. Hope you feel better soon ☺️

@2020mission I haven't had a chemical but I miscarried at 12 weeks last year and the spotting started after that. Guess its just a bodily change after pregnancy - perhaps because the baby and sac did "pass" through the cervix making things a bit different physiologically? Not sure haha

@robinrose this is a great example of where artificial insemination would be good! All you need is a cup and a scalpel syringe basically!

@Motherofkittens28 interesting on them not wanting you to work on Monday. I was hoping just two or three days as it's only wfh but I guess sitting up all day might not be ideal. Hmm interesting! I bet you feel far from dtd anyway right 😆 May is great though for the ivf! I was expecting my letter by now so now I'm thinking it might clash with my ivf appointment, so frustrating 😣

Have you thought about what treatments you might want?
