Yes @MiniBaker I spot anywhere from 3-5 days before AF. I can't give you answers though... when I told my GP all she did was book me in for an early smear and said "oh yeah I can see why you're spotting your cervix looks red and I can see a bit of blood on it too". She then said she usually only sees that in pregnant women or those on hormonal contraceptives, neither of which I fall under.

I definitely never used to spot for more than 1 day before AF until I started TTC in January 2020 though so I feel like TTC has caused it in some way, that or something just coincidentally changed as I started.

@MiniBaker I spot too, which I always hope implantation... tight!!

@MiniBaker I never get much ewcm either and I tried everything. Even tried drinking cough syrup which actually worked but tastes so disgusting! It has to have Guaifenesin in it. Also tried grapefruit juice but didn't notice a difference. Evening primrose oil worked a little.
I also spot 3-5 days before AF but fertility consultant kept telling me it was nothing to worry about.

@Crazydoglady123 my birthday is Weds next week, I've booked a few days off and then it's Easter weekend, I'm so looking forward to it! @polejunkie yay to another Easter birthday! We can justify eating all the chocolate @Marvellouslymadmum ahh shame you won't be able to have a drink over your birthday - you'll just have to eat all the cake instead! At least with the pandemic there's less pressure for us to explain why we're not drinking to friends and family!

@notyetamumbuttrying the Hycosy is a good idea and maybe AMH too but OH seems to be keen to just wait and see what they say at our appointment and to not assume the worst... he probably has a point, I am quite impatient!

@RobinRose - I laughed a lot at "our donkey vocab" - I use so many phrases and acronyms now that I'd never known before (as well as all the crazy supplements and diet changes haha, my friends are all baffled by seed cycling). Sounds like we're at a similar point in our journey. I hope your phone call next week is really informative and you can get the ball rolling properly!

@Narwhal88 sorry you're finding it tough at the moment. Going through this infertility journey feels really isolating and lonely as it is, especially when friends and family are just having completely the opposite experience of fertility. The pandemic is exacerbating all emotions and loneliness isn't it. It's such a shame that you're having to go into scans and things alone at the moment, fingers crossed that they start letting partners in soon, they seem to be doing that in some places already which is promising!

@Juno231 Those are great results although as I've said, I've found it quite frustrating that our infertility is so far unexplained. I hadn't heard about silent endo before? Good that you now have a timeline and can feel like you're moving forward

@Juno231 unexplained is horrible but really positive that they're still being practice and sending you for a lap!

@PeanutButterBrownies yes I actually rarely drink at home anyway but if we actually ever went anywhere I would have a couple normally so it's good not to have to give a reason lol

Evening everyone. We'll the lap has totally floored me, I don't remember being so exhausted with the last 1.
They confirmed stage 3 endometriosis on my pelvic walls, vagina and a small spot on one overy. I think they also mentioned some near the tube entrance. Dr said he thinks it should improve fertility but obviously not egg quality. I went in at 7:30 and have only just got home!

@Narwhal88 good luck for EC tomorrow if I've kept up and that's right

@Motherofkittens28 one of my laps (years ago) wiped me out completely and the other was like nothing happened, so strange. I hope you’re ok, hopefully it will have helped you x

@2020mission that is the exact same as me... I never used to spot before TTC and I actually feel like as the months have gone on I’ve started to spot more and more.

I feel like it can’t just be a coincidence and that it’s related to something... xx

@polejunkie oh I’m with you. It’s torture isn’t it but it’s too consistent for me to think it’s implantation anymore!

@minibaker @2020mission I used to spot for 1 maybe 2 days before ttc and then after my miscarriage I know spot for up to 5 or 6 days!!!!! Maybe it's the stress???

@Narwhal88 It’s really interesting that we both lack EWCM, we both spot before period and we both are struggling to conceive don’t you think?

It does feel like there is some relationship there...

@MiniBaker haha yes it's evening primrose oil - I had to consciously stop myself from calling it EPO when I first recommended it to you 😁. As for how I feel about ivf... Gosh it just feels very strange, like it's happening to someone else and I've got nothing to do with it. I think it won't feel real until much closer to the time to be honest!

@Marvellouslymadmum @PeanutButterBrownies thank you and I agree that unexplained is poo. People jump to the conclusion that everything must be fine then but in reality it just means you're extra helpless as they just don't know what's wrong :/

@Juno231 beforehand he said something about vaporising it, I guess that's ablation?

@Juno231 absolute best of luck to you with your next steps. I can imagine how frustrating it is having the tests and not getting answers as to why it’s not happening. It’s great that you will have a good shot at IVF though with your test results! Hopefully you’re not too far off now👶

@MiniBaker yes evening primrose oil lol, I'm just a lazy Typer haha it's supposed to be really good for ewcm you take it each day up to ovulation
