Hey 😋

Thought I would start a thread for people trying to conceive their 2nd child. Hope some of you lovely ladies want to join in to keep each other sane!

So as I said I’m TTC #2. This is my first cycle. I’ve been tracking my period on the Flo app since my DS was born so have a good idea of my ovulation window. According to the app I’m due to ovulate tomorrow but I got a stronger result on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday than what I did today. DTD yesterday and hopefully again today if we find the time.

My first pregnancy was kind of unexpected i fell pregnant very quickly - around 2 months - after coming off the pill. I have not been on the pill for over a year and have been using condoms instead so it will be interesting to see how long it will take this time.

My pack of FRER are due for delivery today (a whole day early) so not sure if to test today or wait til tomorrow

@tuxedocat yeah I'm fine. A little bit more spotting which is weird 3/4 days away from AF for me. I didn't expect it to happen this month but still disappointed.

@JJ94 you are right you become hyper aware of everything when TTC I think

@tuxedocat I would say TRY and hold off till morning as if it was me and I got a BFN I would think hmmmm maybe because it's not FMU and ever so slightly early so would then test in morning anyways 🙈HOWEVER, if you do test let us know!!!!

@moonpie32 hmmm that is strange- I know everyone always says this when spotting is early but implantation maybe? Or hopefully it is!

@moonpie32 could it be implantation bleeding if it’s not full flown AF? Hopefully it’s a little bit of spotting and that’s all 🤞🏻

@May2311 I’m tempted to wait until tomorrow but my DH is up early for work now and not back until late afternoon. Would FMU be too long to leave in that case?! I feel a bit sick with nerves tbh 😂 i am tempted to leave til tomorrow or Saturday tho, as I’m due tomorrow so at least I’ll know I’ve actually missed one?! Tho it’s my first cycle off the pill so it’s a guessing game anyway!

@May2311 @tuxedocat my cycles are "short" so 11 DPO today and currently on CD 23 out of 25 but I've just had a look back and my cycles vary between 23 and 25 so I'm pretty certain I'm out. I think I'm gonna try convince hubby to get OPKs for next month so I can at least have some sort of idea 🤣

I would also try hold off till at least tomorrow but it's easy for me to say not being that position!

@tuxedocat how early is early? As in is it not too early that you are likely to be awake with nerves anyways? I've heard that storing FMU is fine but not too sure. I think if your due tomorrow though a decent hold would show on a FRER so you could perhaps try and do a decent hold for when hubby gets home?

@moonpie32 aye I do like the certainty that if I know when I ovulated I know when I'm due AF so helps with knowing whether to test or not!

@May2311 about 5am! My delivery turned up and I’ve annoyingly ordered the first response rapid result by accident - typical!!

I've got some OPKs that i will try use this cycle, i tested a few times before around the time I thought i should be ovulating but i only ever got a tiny faint line. So this time i will test sooner to see if i catch the right time.

@JJ94 good idea! I feel more in control when I know when I ovulate etc.

@JJ94 exactly! I like to know as well cos I'm so impatient!

Cramps have continued although not always noticeable and only on one side and spotting has stopped. Boobs feel sore as well so I'm not sure what's going on. Like mentioned, our bodies like to play tricks on us! 🙈

Yes, 100mui or whatever the measurement is (I googled it!) It’s put me off testing because I’ve heard such mixed reviews 😩 but as I’m due tomorrow it shouldn’t make much difference - why is everything so difficult?!

@May2311 between 4-6th based on my CM. I’m due on today according to Ovia. I was tempted to get up with my husband at 5am but he kept me up snoring so I couldn’t be bothered for my toddler to wake at 5.50am 😖 wish I’d gotten up before!

I saved my FMU in a cup and I’m tempted to test this morning. It’s so bloody bright it’s like orange squash. Not sure if this is normal or in radioactive 😂

@tuxedocat 🤣🤣 my LO was up early as well today! I think it's the lighter mornings waking mine up! I think you should go for it. Your at least 13DPO so I reckon it should show something by now. X

@May2311 I was between the 7th and 10th so I know it would be detectable now.
I'm just gonna wait for AF now.

I caved!

I’ve got the faintest faintest line! You know the type when you’re like I see it, no I don’t, yes I do! This is with a first response rapid result so I’m get a FRER and try later or tomorrow morning 🤞🏻

My hubby does Lat flow testing twice a week for work and I love looking to see if I can see a squinter on them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's like an obsession!

@tuxedocat i can see something there! But it is really faint, so deffo do a FRER to check. I wouldn't be able to wait until tomorrow 🙈

@JJ94 I’m so glad to have you guys it makes it so more bearable. It’s SO faint. I wonder if maybe my cycle is longer than I thought perhaps. I’ll def get some FRER today and hold some wee.

@tuxedocat i'm glad i have you all too! You're right, it does help. We are all in the same boat and completely understand.
I obviously can't talk to anyone else other than my husband about it all, but he is way more chilled out than me about it, 🙈
