Thought I would start a thread for people trying to conceive their 2nd child. Hope some of you lovely ladies want to join in to keep each other sane!

So as I said I’m TTC #2. This is my first cycle. I’ve been tracking my period on the Flo app since my DS was born so have a good idea of my ovulation window. According to the app I’m due to ovulate tomorrow but I got a stronger result on a clear blue ovulation test yesterday than what I did today. DTD yesterday and hopefully again today if we find the time.

My first pregnancy was kind of unexpected i fell pregnant very quickly - around 2 months - after coming off the pill. I have not been on the pill for over a year and have been using condoms instead so it will be interesting to see how long it will take this time.

I've just been checking. Asda cheapies are 25mlU/ml so my understanding is they aren't overly sensitive and should be used after 10DPO I think?

FRER are 6-10mlU/ml so may just wait till day before or day of AF if she doesn't show up

@moonpie32 sounds like a plan! I feel like if you doubt a test then you won’t trust it fully? When is AF due, this weekend?

I have one cheapie test left in the house, I'm resisting the urge to go an pee on it so bad! 🙈

@tuxedocat Sunday so still a few days to go. I've had a slight cramping on my left side for a couple of hours now. Which I now don't know if it's normal for AF or not 😂🙈

I'm 7dpo on cycle 6 of ttc baby no.2 after coming off the mirena IUD.
Using LH strips and bbt to track my progress.
Stupidly depressed myself today by doing a IC at 7dpo... Obviously bfn... When will I learn 😅
Desperate for this to be the month, as it'll mean I'll have my baby 1 month before my 30th birthday. I always wanted to have had two children by 30

@Tabbycat92 welcome to the group! Few people have BFPs, others are testing prior to AF and a few have just started the TWW so a wide range in here 

@JJ94 it's so hard isn't it. I keep thinking well maybe my hcg levels would be high enough tomorrow to pick up on the cheapie 😂

@moonpie32 i think exactly the same! I just want to see a second line, even a faint one!! My eyes sometimes convince me there's something there sometimes 😐
I use 4 different apps now, all telling me I'm between 2-4 days late for AF.

@moonpie32 I would say cramps a few days away isn’t normal for AF but that’s just me! Sunday isn’t too far, does it feel like dull cramps or just crampy cramps?! I’ve found mine have not been as dull as before I’m due!

I’ve had so many tingles in my boobs this evening. Ive got one or two tiny white spots on my nipples. I’ve also been a right mardy cow 😂

@JJ94 I'm the same. I had like 4 apps all telling me different ovulation windows but all AF starting on same day. Deleted 2 and I'm either 8DPO or 10DPO today but AF still arriving Sunday 😂 it's so confusing this TTC lark!

@tuxedocat that's what I thought and I've had it for a few days now. I only ever really get cramps with AF after it's started 🤷🏻‍♀️. It's more of a pinching when i notice it. Not dull but not very sharp if that makes sense 😂

Thanks for the welcome all 😊 been having all the symptoms today, hence why I tested. Crampy, tingly/painful boobs, achey lower back, the smell of my coffee this morning made me want to puke. So who knows 🤷‍♀️ I'm only 7dpo, but according to premom I'm only 4 days away from AF (cycles have been quite irregular recently)

@moonpie32 makes no sense does it - I have no idea when I ovulated (between 3-6th I think with loose tracking) but I’ve gone off period due on the 19th.

Cramps sound good though, hopefully it’s things working away 💞🤞🏻

Well AF has just paid me an unwelcome visit 🙁 i had honestly got my hopes up with being this late, oh well.

@tuxedocat I'm exactly the same. 1 app shows 7th the other the 10th - what is that about 🤷🏻‍♀️ joys of not using OPKs I guess. Still feeling cramps and a bit sick but I'm sure that's still residual illness.

Thank you both 💕 i just appriciate being able to talk on here about it! I think it's good to be able to rant, saves bottling it all up!
I'm trying to stay positive but it's hard isn't it 😕
The only positive i'm trying to keep in my mind is that i'm due AF next month on my husbands birthday... so if i got a BFP it would be the best present xx

@JJ94 it’s definitely ok to feel sad and let it all out! Talk it all out, and go into the next cycle all positive.

Maybe next month is the month - imagine what a wonderful birthday present that would be, maybe That's what the universe has written for you 🖤

Well I got my peak on Monday, presumed I ovulated Tues due to cramps but yesterday I had cramps still plus a headache so now wondering if I actually OV yesterday- tbf the cramps could be all the pineapple I have been having and grapefruit 🤣🤣🤣🤣 2DPO I think I'll say as it's sooner to test then 🙈

@JJ94 I hear you. It is hard being positive so Thais is a good wee space to let it out. Like tuxedocat said how nice would it be on you DHs birthday.
I think I'm out as well. Last night had pink spotting when I wiped and very faint spotting this morning too with my cramps getting a little worse.

Thank you all for your replies! ❤️ i have my fingers crossed for you all!
I think our bodies and minds can definitely play mean tricks on us when we are TTC, i get my hopes up with every single twinge or symptom i feel 🙈
I feel less sad this morning, i think i'm just thinking about our next cycle now rather than dwelling on what wasn't meant to be.

2dpo may be a bit too early to test...😛 but hopefully the next week or so goes quickly for you!
