TTC baby number 1 - late period negative test

Hey everyone

We're ttc on cycle 2, I'm normally on a 25-28 day cycle but on CD31 now and nothing, I did a test this evening but was negative, going to try again in the morning

I'm never this late so not sure what's going on😓 anyone else late but negative test?

I was literally going to post the same thread! I'm cd26, last month I had a 23day cycle - it was my first month off the pill though after 13 years but I was expecting a similar length this month (I had super short cycles when I was younger which is why I went on the pill). I ovulated on cd13 (not tracking, just know from symptoms and increased EWCM) so I was expecting either AF or a BFP last Saturday. I've tested every morning for about 5 days now and BFN. I usually have cramps a few days before AF arrives and so far nothing. Last week I had aches in my pelvic/vagina area which I'd not experienced before for a few hours and then they disappeared, nothing like AF cramps or aches though as I usually get them much higher up on the left. Not sure what any of this means 🤔

@Gspps and @Bee44 have you started any supplements?
I had 28day cycles then started taking trying to conceive seven seas and it made my periods longer. Last month was 32days and this month it looks like day 36 AF is due.

So glad someone else is in the same boat!
I keep getting cramps like af but nothing else, a bit more discharge (sorry for tmi) and been feeling super moody!

I can't think as to why else I'd be late at all!

Maybe your cycle is a bit longer and still too early to test?

So horrible having no idea what's going on 😭
I shouldn't be late for any other reason as I haven't been stressed etc, unless it's a hormone thing :/
Let me know how your test goes in the morning!x

I've been taking folic acid and vit d but since the first cycle and other cycle was pretty normal, unless it doesn't start straight away?xx

@Fireplacedreamer only folic acid which I've been taking since a few weeks before I came off the pill. I did look at the seven seas tablets but read so many reviews about them causing longer cycles so decided to steer clear!

@Gspps maybe it's just my body trying to trick me! I've had no usual pregnancy symptoms (eg the nausea or sore boobs that everyone seems to get) but I have had heartburn since ovulation day and a metallic taste for 3 days so I was feeling hopeful for that reason! I'll keep retesting until I get an answer either AF or a positive test, they're only IC's so I don't feel bad wasting them!!

I'm the same, 2 days late, negative test. No symptoms of anything, just bloating and increased cm. No new supplements. Very frustrating!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 yup tested this morning, still negative as can be , I'll attach pic if I can, now on CD32

I did have a tiny spec of blood last night when I wiped, thought that meant af would start over night but nothing 😭

I'm thinking I either get ovulated really late and test isn't showing up yet, or there's just a hormone problem ....

Sorry both. I don’t have any tests left, so I’ll test again tomorrow / Wednesday if period hasn’t arrived. 3 days late now....

I’ve only had this once before, years ago, before ttc. I was inexplicably 2 -3 weeks late, not pregnant, no reason for it at all that I could think

Tested today with a Clearblue early detection (three days late now) and negative!

It's so weird isn't it how it can just not be here for no reason at all😓

I've had to come home from work today, as I had the worst dizzy spell I've ever had the room was spinning and I really thought I was going to faint. Feeling better now but head still feels a bit funny, no af still 😢

Just feeling poop, waiting for something to happen😭 hope you're all well ladies x

I really have no idea at all what it could be 😢 I'm cramping all across my pelvic area aswell so I'm not sure if af or just nothing and my hormones are all over the place

I'm exactly the same! I'm two days late and tested yesterday and today (keen i know Blush) and both was negative yet no sign even though last week I had the usual signs I get before I come on like bloating and fatigue how strange x

Do any of you have a lot of (tmi sorry) cervical mucus? I've noticed I've had quite a lot, and don't normally. Also no usual pms symptoms, or sore boobs etc

I noticed a lot more last week but not so much this week and then nothing else but I've had days of random nauseous and dizziness for no reason that I don't normally experience as well as feeling very fatigued last week

So Pinkpong and Gspps are both feeling dizzy and a bit crappy. I am feeling fine, just lots of cm to the extent I keep checking whether period has arrived. And bloating, but that could just be because I'm late. I did have EWCM throughout the 2WW, so I'm wondering if I ovulated late / kept gearing up to ovulate but then didn't this month. My ovulation kit showed all flashing smileys, no peak, until I stopped testing. EWCM after I stopped testing.

Its the not knowing that's frustrating!

I'm also 5 days late, too many negative tests than I'm willing to admit.. normal amount of CM but my cervix is high, closed and soft which may be an indication of something. Slightly sensitive nipples but no other symptoms.

I'm feeling generally out of sorts also, had an upset stomach all morning, got a fuzzy head, and feeling a bit bleugh and sicky

AF arrived for me today 😩 back to the drawing board! Everytime I pee on a CB I always seem to get AF not long after like they're jinxed or something, I pee'd on a CB last month and the same happened then, pee on an IC and nothing happens 🙈. Good luck to you guys still waiting for either AF or BFP!! Hoping for a BFP next month.
