Hi ladies

I'm 23 and my partner (27) and I are TTC baby #1!

It was our first month trying this month and AF is due 2nd/3rd of March, so far just BFN! My cycle is roughly 26/27 days! But didn't expect to get pregnant first cycle so I'm feeling ok 👌🏼

Anyone else TTC baby no 1 with a similar cycle? 🥰 xx

@kty09 I'm kinda chill at the moment but also checking the calendar excitedly to decide when I should start using my opks for the first time lol. I only bought a few CB ones cos they seem so expensive and wasteful! But I'm eyeing up one step strips on amazon for when I run out...

@farmer123 @catmumsoph92 Welcome! And I hope you're both holding out ok this week! It's so hard not to test early, even though a bfn is disheartening and a squinty-eyes maybe-positive sounds like torture to me! (Yes, I'm also telling myself this so I'm not tempted to test early this month haha!)

@taytay2020 wahey !! Haha bet you're glad to get trying! How many days late were you this month?

@genevive123 I was 5 days later than my best guess, but I suppose my best guess could have been completely wrong! I only stopped the mini pill in January so I don't really know what my cycle length is yet. (I just went from when I noticed EWCM, nice.) Hopefully opks will help this month so I at least know what's going on.

I'll also be making sure that the next couple of weeks are not too tiring! No DIY, some nice walks and fresh air and lots of good mental health! We're not slacking off another month! We're doing it!

Ooh I might even write a shopping list designed entirely around not wasting our evenings making food! (Cue cunning plan laugh)

I think Premom is great. It pinpionts my OD every cycle. I BDed on the purple days. Hopefully I will get pregnant this cycle.

@Genevive123 which CD are you now? I’m CD7 and a very slight second line on the OPK was visible this morning. I’m hoping they get darker and I see my peak this month 😩

@taytay2020 that makes sense you'll get to grips with your cycle I'm sure :) I feel the same this month no slacking and no dog preventing sex 🤣

@Kty09 I'm cycle day 8 today ! Don't stress too much about there not being a line there yet it just appears all of a sudden ! I got my peak on CD 12 last month :) what is your OPKs looking like? I'll grab a pic of mine x

IM cd19 today if i count that brown spotting as a period! Got my strongest OPK this morning at 35%, (I know it's still low) so hopefully it carries on increasing! Probably be back to barely visible tonight!

@EllieAdam there was nothing wrong with premom, I just looked at femometer and thought it was prettier! I think they all do much the same thing

@Genevive123 ah I hope so! I’m hoping this weekend they start to get stronger. I forgot to take a pic this morning but haven’t even logged any others as they are literally not even visible! I’ve downloaded femometer and bought the LH strips which arrive tomorrow! Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 My hubs is probably away again next week so hope I get my peak at the weekend x

I’m on day 2 of flashing smileys. Easy at home are at about 45% (0.45) so on track to ovulate at the weekend 🤞🏻

@Kty09 similar here my DP works away from home Tuesday- Friday so hope it does happen this weekend.

@Neom87 how long is your cycle? :) I use Femometer too! Try not to stress to much as they suddenly go dark! :)

@Kty09 I really rate femometer the app is great make sure you grab pics for the app tomorrow :) mine has gone from 11% to 20% this evening so should start getting a darker line tomorrow / Thursday

Fingers crossed you're ovulating at the weekend ! Even if you ovulated on Monday just make sure you DTD plenty this weekend !! :)

@genevive123 that's the million dollar question!! I've been on the pill for 18 years (since I was 16) and I cannot remember how long it was prior to that! I stopped taking the pill in January and had a withdrawal bleed a week later but then didn't know when to count from as your not supposedto count the withdrawal as a period. Had a strange spotting/period 21-26 Feb. Just done another opk and it's gone to 49% from 35% this morning so I think something must be going on!

Has anyone got the run up of opks approaching their peak that they can post, so I can see an example of what they tend to look like x

@Neom87 that totally makes sense !! My OPK did drop randomly too but just keep an eye on it over the next few days ! Did you manage to get a pic of the 49%? Wohoo defo coming up so it's definitely not far off how exciting ! I can actually show you mine from last month xx

Hhmmm...not sure what's happening as that post worked. It must be being funny when I attached the photo, I have a picture of today's two but my reply won't post with them on!

@genevive123 your peak is blazing!! Its strange how it suddenly dips, that's what would put me off, thinking I had missed it or something but goes to show you need to keep testing!

@Neom87 it is strange I assume it's where I was drinking too much and weeing too much 😂 but the peak was definitely there!! Xx

Just for the record last month was my first month using OPKs and I got a bit over excited testing and I'd take two pics to double check it was right 😂

@Genevive123 oooh that’s fab to see yours I’ll deffo keep going with them and upload to the app as of tomorrow! I’ve been at work thinking no more drinks now until I get home so I can test 😂

@genevive123 no judgement!! I do the exact same , but then delete them and leave the average reading because sometimes it says different results so I like to double check it! Haha!

By my calculations it OD for me today! Made love last night and just now Haven't been using OPKs or anything tech this first month, just going by my cycle. Have been looking for EWCM, but I'm confused - how do I tell the difference between that and DP's semen when were'r BDing regularly as well?

I did think this last month too - I guess you would get a better idea checking after you haven’t BD for a good few hours?!

Oh my god, finally got my first peak, its saying 166%! This stuffs finally getting real, but also very scary!
