Here we are then, if it worked!

A nice new shiney thread to fill up with gorgeous cakes.

I'll start with a gooey sticky pecan pie at got at the W.I market yesterday morning

I want to cry

Went to Boots today and got 2 digital tests and 2 ordinary ones. As I was at market today I had to nip off to the public loo and used one of the ordinary ones (not easy when not in your own loo!!). Faint line.

I tried to tell myself to wait until first thing tomorrow morning to use the digital one (first morning wee!) but could I? Could I heck!!! As soon as we got home I raced upstairs to try it. Yep, it was a big fat negative.

I know it probably makes no difference as to what time of day you do it.

So I'm sitting here with still sore boobs feeling like I still don't believe the result. I suppose it means I'm in for a nasty AF when she decides she's taunted me enough.

I'm 37, p**d off and wondering what the hell to do now. I said to DH earlier that I hope we can have at least one bean before I'm 40.

Sorry gang, just feeling sorry for myself. Hands up if you can spot the girlie who got her hopes up!

Jules, I'm so sorry for your sister and yourself. Big hugs to you both.

Cheekster, congrats on your bfp. I can understand the worry. I hope your bean sticks like superglue!

Evening to everyone.
Jules I am really so so sorry*
Cheekster. Sit tight, be positive and it will all work out.
Lissie. I love you, you are so brave it puts us all to shame.

We have had a beautiful sunshiny day today. We all went out for lunch and then a bit of shopping afterwards. To finish off the day DH took us all to the local Ice-cream parlour on the sea front! Beautiful. On a day like today it is so hard to feel negative and down so I am hoping to spread around to everyone my great big positive vibes.
I was out on the sauce last night so also v v hungover. I loved being able to go out and not have to worry about have I drunk to much, is it too smokey. Last night I thought to hell with it all!!!! Had a great time.
I think this may be the turning point for me. No more feeling sorry for myself

LoveAngelGabriel · 10/11/2007 20:11

grinningbee - your post sounds so pissed off and upset and wll, sad . Hoping you get a BFP soon.

ronshar · 10/11/2007 20:11

Bugger I realy should check before I post.

GB That is exactly what happened to me this week too! It is shite isnt it. I think seeing not pregnant on the pee stick is worse than no line, it makes it so stark and cold.
I was sure it was all go this time, was it heck.
Heads up. Hurry up TEW.

ClairePO · 10/11/2007 20:38

So sorry GB

splishsplosh · 10/11/2007 20:50

GB - I'm sorry to hear your news, you really deserve some happiness, hopefully next month it'll happen

Cheekster, great news. Hopefully the pains aren't anything to worry about - I know I had crampy pains for a few weeks with both pgs. They were bad enough that I took painkillers occasionally and I didn't test til a week later, i was so sure how I felt meant af imminent. So it doesn't necessarily mean things are going wrong. Fimgers crossed

Lissie - it's good to have you back

Jules, sorry about your sis, only positive thing I can think of is that she's got you to suuport her

Evening everyone else

Jules - thanks for the wine - want some chocolate brownies or apple lattice to go with it? (visited the Italian market again today, and couldn't resist. I'm weak!) You're kind to offer soft cooked eggs and liver - obviously I am tempted by such a delicious sounding combination, but you know what, I'm sticking to cake

Dog is whining tragically downstairs.. dp hates dogs, and doesn't let her upstairs..she's probably got a whiff of my plate of cakes and is hoping I'll take pity on her!

hmmm I think AF is on her way - slight spotting today and now an upset tummy which I normally get - only been 24 days too and only 9dpo and I'm normally a 28 day cycle but I guess things take a while to get back to normal after a mc

splishsplosh · 10/11/2007 22:35

Claire, sorry af onits way , especially early, that's extra unfair.

Jules, even the dog says maybe not . I wish you hadn't said that about watching your figure, now I'm feeling greedy!! - I'm trying to eat more healthily, and I've been doing OK (ish!). But it's Saturday night..that's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it!

sweetkitty · 10/11/2007 22:43

grinningbee - oh honey I so so feel for you I was hoping beyond hope you would have a BFP on a CBD, those faint lines have tortured you. Hate saying this but I hope AF turns up soon at least you will know where you are then and can start ttc with gusto

jules - thanks for your kind words, I hope both you and your sister are pregnant again soon at the same time and have lovely little cousins to play with, life is so unfair sometimes, you have had more than your share of bad luck some on universe it's time for some good!

clairePO - sorry you think AF is turning up but as I have just said to GB in some ways it's good to have that CD1 and start all over again and know your body is working again after the mc.

big hellos to everyone else hope the weekend is being kind for you all xxx

I'm not getting my hopes up, the way my tummy feels is exactly like just before my period.

Mmmmm wine - am so jealous. What flavour ben & jerrys?

splishsplosh · 10/11/2007 22:52

Ben and Jerry's - yum! I haven't had ice cream for so long, partly because I haven't been able to get at my freezer, so have been saved from the temptation to buy. Because if i did succumb, I'd have to eat the whole pot, and that would be just too impossible

jules - course I did rubbed the bump for you then threw a load of babydust at the screen for you to catch. Unfortunately I am veggie so pate out but will join you for a virtual glass of wine oh and any chocolate thats going.

That's the first thing I noticed the increase in peeing, didn't want to even think about it kept thinking I was just drinking a bit more.

I would love love love both you and lissie to get BFPs this month (and everyone else on this thread) but you too have suffered far more than most and it's not bloody fair for you and if you believe in cosmic ordering or yin and yang or fate or God of whatever they better be listening, give these two lovely ladies a bloody BFP or else

sweetkitty · 10/11/2007 23:04

*God or whatever not God of whatever

right am off to bed having upset the powers of the universe

My idea of paradise Jules. Caramel Chew Chew & wine. Why is it that you can never just have a little bit of Ben & Jerrys, you have to eat the whole pot??? Or is that just me??
I had Brie yesterday, I love Brie.
