@Nuggetlover27
@27DONFIN
@Babyghirl

Please tag anyone I’ve missed from the old thread.

I’m currently enjoying my first glass of wine in about 10 weeks. Will happily give up alcohol for a baby but no baby I need alcohol 😂

Really hope that’s the start of a BFP for you @Babyghirl let us know when you test in the morning.

@Annny27 Sorry it looks like AF has arrived.

@Nuggetlover27 Fingers crossed for a positive FW

wideskies · 07/02/2021 11:19

Hello all. We are about to embark on TTC after a miscarriage a year ago. We already have 2 DDs, experienced secondary infertility and I conceived DD2 after 2 years and surgery for endometriosis.

I was absolutely destroyed by the mc. I know how fortunate I am to have my girls, yet I can't explain it - it just broke me inside. Life carried on but the loss profoundly impacted my usual positive outlook on life. I am only now at the point of being ready to try again and the fear of another loss is at the front of my mind.

How do you cope with and keep that fear under control? Is there anything that helps? Thank you x

Babyghirl · 07/02/2021 11:49

@chali7
I will tomorrow, how's ur cramping has it eased of any xx

Annny27 · 07/02/2021 12:34

Hate when I type a message and then it disappears 😭😭

I am almost half way through tww (6dpo). Pretty busy with work next week so that will keep me sane!

@Babyghirl glad it seems to have come to and end! Did you do a test yet to see if its negative or waiting a week?

@chali7 cramps are soo soo common but still doesn't mean they don't feel scary :(

@nuggetlover27 any sign of AF yet?

@wideskies sorry to hear of your loss :( its still very up and down tbh I am not longer in so much grief about the miscarriage but its more grief about my infertility now!

Babyghirl · 07/02/2021 13:10

lozza2206 · 07/02/2021 15:34

Hey all 🥰

Wondering if I could join this chat for support... I resonate with absolutely everyone in this chat.

I am 24 years old and I came off the pill last March. We very casually started TTC and after some weird bleeding in June/July I got a BFP that sadly ended in a chemical pregnancy/early loss or whatever you wanna name it 😬
Once that had occurred, that is when I got obsessed! Once my cycle went back to normal in August, we went at it again.
I got my second BFP in the middle of November ... this sadly ended new year with a MMC and I had the surgical procedure on 7th Jan.

I know there is differing opinions on whether to start trying straight away or not. Well I am a woman possessed and we came to the decision we wanna go again.
I ovulated late for me (cd22) counting the day of my surgery as cd1. I am now sat here 9dpo and I am googling every single twinge, burp and ache. I spend my day seeing whether my mouth tastes metallic because that was the biggest symptom for me last time round.

Any advice/help would be appreciated!
❤️

chali7 · 07/02/2021 15:40

Hi @lozza2206 I'm not sure I can help much, as I'm also obsessed haha.

My history isn't great but in brief - I had a MMC in May 2020 with surgery in June. Followed by an ectopic pregnancy in September 2020. We started TTC again in December. The first cycle of TTC again I was as obsessed as I was last year. I had a faint positive which I think turned out to be a chemical pregnancy. For cycle 2 I decided not to track, and just go with the flow. I'm now around 5 weeks pregnant. My only advice from this really is just go with the flow - but I know its very hard and not easily done. I'm sorry for your losses and you're in the right place for advise the girls on this thread are lovely xx

chali7 · 07/02/2021 15:42

Thank you @Babyghirl - I'm should have a loyalty card for our EPU really.
I've never had a good outcome there though, which is always made worse without being allowed my OH to come with me. I'm praying this time its good news, but I hate going there and it makes me so anxious 😬 xx

Babyghirl · 07/02/2021 15:49

@chali7
I knw wat u mean my doc still wanted me to go tomorrow to my scan I told her no I will do a test in two weeks to c if it's nagitive and go from there xx

lozza2206 · 07/02/2021 15:50

Hi @chali7 🥰

Thank you! Sorry to hear of your losses... congratulations on your BFP, sending love and prayers this is your 🌈 ❤️

chali7 · 07/02/2021 15:54

I don't blame you @Babyghirl it's great to have them but when you've had bad experiences that waiting room brings them all back up.
Thank you @lozza2206 - fingers crossed for you xxx

Babyghirl · 07/02/2021 16:10

@lozza2206
So sorry for your losses and find yourself on this thread but also glad you found us for support, I have had 4 miscarriages 5 if you include a cp going through my most recent one as we speak so I'm no longer trying to I get my app for the fertility clinic which should of been In Jan but with covid and that they where closed for 4 weeks bck opened tomorrow so going to give them a ring and see what's happening as I need answers could not go through this again as it's mentally and physically draining me. Try to go with the flow and don't get to obsessed as it will take over your everyday life xx

lozza2206 · 07/02/2021 16:33

@Babyghirl very sorry to hear of your losses! I definitely think that's the right thing to do... each time it gets tougher to go through. Have you watched the programme on channel 5"miscarriage: our story"... it's quite positive. I am hoping they can give you some answers. 🥰

Babyghirl · 07/02/2021 16:52

@lozza2206

scrumdiddly123 · 07/02/2021 17:37

Hi ladies, I’ve just come in search of your new thread to see how you’re all doing. @Babyghirl I’m so sorry you’ve had another loss 😢 absolutely heartbreaking and so unfair. I hope you can get some answers and treatment if needed to help you ASAP.
I think of you all often and can’t wait for the day you all join us on the pregnancy thread 😘 Crazy to think I’m now 31 weeks and there’s only been one BFP since mine 😭 let’s hope they all come at once this month and next 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

chali7 · 07/02/2021 17:42

@Babyghirl none of my MC's have ever been "natural", I've never seen what happens so I wouldn't know what I'm looking for but it does look like it yes. So sorry its been such a long process for you xxx

lozza2206 · 07/02/2021 18:22

@Babyghirl it's not too late! My colleague had her first at 43! Positive thinking and taking the steps always helps get your goals! 🥰 I think that's what that looks like... I had the same experience, it bled for 4 days, then stopped and a few days later came back with a vengeance. Time for sofa, films, wine and chocolates xxx

wideskies · 07/02/2021 18:47

Thanks for the welcome and glad to have found this group x

Babyghirl · 07/02/2021 18:58
