I’m currently enjoying my first glass of wine in about 10 weeks. Will happily give up alcohol for a baby but no baby I need alcohol 😂

@Sweetbabydust1989 thank you! It's amazing having people who have gone through similar... I am mentally prepared for either way. I just feel for my partner, he is so amazing but he wants this just as much as me and I worry men tend to not talk as much as women xxx

@lozza2206 my partner doesn't no about my positive test I have kept it to myself until Tuesday... this tread is amazing I use to hear such negative things about Mumsnet but this thread goes to show how supportive it can be especially when we are doing through the same thing xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 gosh that is will power! I struggle not telling my mum and sisters! But that's what loss does to you and it's really a shame it stops excitement! I feel positive for you... isn't it true that after an ectopic you can sometimes get phantom twinges where it was? Xx

@lozza2206 oh I have wanted to tell him believe me but I want to no 100% if it's an ectopic etc so I have kept it to myself... erm my ectopic was picked up at 4 wks 3 days as I was in so much pain after it was gone I didn't feel much after... I am so scared as I have had mild cramping... I keep getting odd stabbing pains xx

@Sweetbabydust1989 the issue is mild cramping is common in pregnancy too... so who bloody knows!! Wish daily scans were a thing 🤣🤣🤣 xxx

@lozza2206 oh tell me about it my epu have left me too it not even taken no bloods yet I have to wait until Tuesday to be seen I believe it's another ectopic xx

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me joining you. I am not quite ready to start trying yet but am hoping I will be able to soon.
Over last weekend I had a late miscarriage at 18 weeks. This was preceded by a miscarriage at 5 weeks and another at 9 weeks - all without a period in between. We are waiting for the post mortem results, but it is looking like there might be an issue with my being rh negative and the baby being positive.
I am desperate to crack on (I’m 37) but know I need some time to heal (I have some counselling lined up) and need to wait to see what the post mortem tells us. I think I need to be in the company of people who understand and hope you don’t mind me piling in!

Thank you @lozza2206 whilst I’d rather not be in any company, it’s good to be in company on the journey, if you know what I mean. I’m yet to go back to work and am dreading having to listen to everyone’s sympathies - I was obviously pregnant and most people knew about it.

@russianred yes I get you! We are the group of gals no one wants to be part of!

That part is tough... it is the part I struggled with. Emotions change every second but we are all in the positive mindset it will happen. I hope you get the support you need 💕
