Hi can I join? Sorry to hear of some really difficult journeys.

We've been TTC #2 since around July. Conceived August and had MC at around 6/7 weeks then this month had a MMC and surgical procedure to remove the pregnancy at 11 weeks so I've effectively conceived every time we've tried I just can't hold onto a pregnancy 😔.
Just waiting for a negative pregnancy test and hopefully another period before trying again although unsure when either will come 🤷‍♀️

Not tracking ovulation this month as I think the positive pregnancy test will throw it out but may have ovulated so who knows if something could have happened.

Hi ladies - there are a few really rough rides for some of us here, and if the way I'm feeling at the moment is anything to go by, trying to conceive after a miscarriage (just one in my case, so goodness know for those of you who have been through it twice or more) is a rollercoaster all of its own.

Sending so many good vibes. Hope we can all pull each other through this x

nizo1245 · 22/12/2020 10:36

Hi all, hope you don't mind me joining.
Been TTC since having a MC in April at 12 weeks. It took us 8 months to get pregnant that time, so we've been trying for a while.
Next AF due on 4th jan, so hoping that relaxing over Christmas will work some magic.
I wish I hadn't spent years of my life avoiding pregnancy, as people all around me are accidentally getting pregnant all the time, and here I am desperately trying with no success.

I've gone through phases of being really positive about letting it happen when it happens, and then being completely obsessive and worrying that there's something wrong.

I had an internal scan following some pelvic pain a couple of months after the MC and all seemed to be fine, but haven't had any other investigations done.

Looks like a lot of us have had a rough journey so far. Hoping for some positive news for us all going into 2021!

SEpoppet · 22/12/2020 11:18

@nizo1245 so sorry to hear about your journey so far - sounds rough. I totally know what you mean- everyone around me seems to get pregnant instantly upon trying ! It is difficult to be rational sometimes and stay positive. Might be worth a trip to the doctor next month, as you have been trying for so long? Fingers crossed for this month though xxx

nizo1245 · 22/12/2020 11:47

@SEpoppet I know! I think I lost the ability to keep smiling and nodding a while ago with all the announcements at work.
I'm actually quite glad that covid has meant I'm working from home all the time.
Who'd have thought actually trying would make it harder Hmm

Yeah, planning to contact the docs early next year if we're not having any luck.
It can be a bit hit or miss at my doctors surgery depending on who sees you so I've been putting it off a little, though I know if we do need help there will be long waiting lists.
I think I put so much pressure on myself after the MC that I accidentally sabotaged it as I was literally so obsessed and stressed out about it.

Life seems a bit cruel this year, but hoping for a good 2021!

Eppy123 · 25/12/2020 16:46

How is everyone doing? I thought I would be on track to ovulate around NYE but I’ve had high/peak OPK’s today, been tracking my temp for the first time this month and it’s gone up slightly today. So I guess I should get to it...

Merry Christmas! 😂😁

33Carr · 25/12/2020 17:40

Merry Christmas all!
Happy Christmas BDing @Eppy123 !!
I'm still waiting for AF over here!

Aozora13 · 26/12/2020 09:29

Hi everyone, mind if I join? Santa brought af yesterday, which takes me onto cycle 6 ttc DC3. First 2 were conceived easily but I’m nearly 40 now and thinking my eggs aren’t as fresh as they once were! I also have v short cycles so next af due 17 Jan. Looking forward to new year, new BFPs all round Xmas Grin

Farfaraway1 · 26/12/2020 09:39

Hi all, going ok here. Just trying to have fun, relax and DTD as much as possible! Won’t be testing till early Jan so ages to go.. or so it feels like..

ronniemipperton · 26/12/2020 11:42

Hi all, hoping for a Jan BFP here too. It’s my first cycle since my periods came back (still breastfeeding my nearly 11 month old) but not sure I’m ovulating regularly - I’m CD16 and had faint lines on ov tests a couple of days ago but absolutely nothing today. Will keep testing but not feeling optimistic! But it took a loooong time to conceive my daughter (several years and 2 MCs) so wasn’t expecting #2 to happen quickly, especially not while I’m still feeding.

Good luck everyone and sorry to all those who’ve had MCs - it’s heartbreaking, I know.

SEpoppet · 26/12/2020 11:58

Hi all, all going OK here. Not doing OPKs so just waiting until a feel ov pains and DTD every other day until then (next week hopefully)... good luck all who are bonking over the next few days Wink

Catmum55566 · 26/12/2020 15:27

Merry Christmas - hope everyone is well!

CD 11 here and got an unexpected static smiley on my clear blue sticks. I usually ovulate around day 19/20 so seems very strange. Wondering if this is a false peak? Or if the chemical from a few weeks ago has messed up my cycle? Confused - might have to write this cycle off!

Idreamof2more · 26/12/2020 15:36

8 dpo over here not a single symptom in sight x

SEpoppet · 26/12/2020 17:28

@Catmum55566 this has happened to me before - I had two weaker than usual positives (not using clear blue but using the premom app where you take a picture of the test) and then a third strong positive about a week later which is when I think I actually ovulated. Apparently you can have a sort of 'on/off' surge for a while before you ovulate sometimes... do you have any cheapy ones? If you know how strong the usual line is you could compare? X

Farfaraway1 · 27/12/2020 08:10

@Idreamof2more it’s still early - fingers crossed! When are you thinking of testing?

Catmum55566 · 27/12/2020 09:28

Thanks @SEpoppet - took your advice and did a cheap one. It is not as dark as ones I have had before. Both lines look the same to me at the minute. I will keep testing until my usually ov date and see what happens. Are you in your TWW?

@Idreamof2more I agree 8dpo would be a bit early for symptoms, fingers crossed for a BFP soon though.

Juno231 · 27/12/2020 10:06

Hi everyone, mind if I join? TTC #1 cycle 13. I actually ovulate twice in Jan so feel I'm in with twice the chance 😅.

Haven't had a single BFP all year and all mine and OHs tests have come back fine so we're just waiting for an appointment with the fertility clinic in Feb.

SEpoppet · 27/12/2020 11:34

@catmum55566 that's good, it might be a smaller rise before the main event then! Not yet in TWW, waiting to ovulate in the next few days (around NYE!).

Welcome @Juno231, fingers crossed this is your month!

SalemsPot22 · 27/12/2020 11:35

I’ve had ovulation pain but no positive opk yet and I’m in cd16. Feeling so worried about it all!

Catmum55566 · 27/12/2020 17:37

@SEpoppet, oo that is close to my predicted date, NYD, probably will be in the TWW together! Assuming the peak the yesterday was a false one!

@SalemsPot22 how long are your cycles? Day 16 could be too early if you have longer ones.

Tokyo21 · 27/12/2020 17:47

5/6dpo.
First month TTC , got positive opk on 22/23rd dec can’t quite remember. Had awful af cramps about a day later but they only lasted a few hours.
I know I’m probably too early for symptoms bcos implantation doesn’t usually occur till 9dpo but I have been extremely tired recently and started falling asleep at 4/5pm and waking up around 3am!! Totally abnormal for me but I don’t want to get my hopes up and put it down to pregnancy because I am recovering from an all nighter I did on Xmas eve lol!
Any ladies in same position , would love to hear if you have any symptoms yet.
I took a test today (even tho I know it was too early ) still wanted to! Of course it came back negative , my period is due on the 4th/5th January

SalemsPot22 · 27/12/2020 17:57

@Catmum55566 I don’t know as I’ve only had 1 period since coming off the pill. So I’m not sure if I’ve missed ovulation or it’s just a bit later. I did a cheap opk today and there is no second line at all.

NatJ24 · 27/12/2020 18:28

Hi all. Can I join?
We only started TTC in August and got a BFP in October but then found out this month that we had had a MMC at 8 weeks. Currently waiting for a negative pregnancy test following the MC and then we want to start TTC again. Not sure when that will be or when ovulation will be so just waiting for now.
Sorry to hear about everyone's miscarriages or struggles, hopefully 2021 is our year 🥰

kam2020 · 27/12/2020 18:43

@Wombat84

Anyone else now trying for a jan BFP? 14dpo and cd27 today and now have pink spotting on wiping. Just waiting for cd1 again now x
I'll join you girls if you don't mind, I'm around 11 DPO due 30th Dec but depends which app you look at ConfusedI'm not hopeful for this month, BFN today. Assuming I'm gona be trying for Jan, lots of luck to us all, hope everyone had a nice Christmas Flowers
idkwhatsgoingon · 27/12/2020 19:35

Hey ladies I hope u are all well and have had a lovely Xmas. I hope u don't mind me joining. I've had a MMC in September unfortunately. I was 18 weeks along Sad. And then I had a haemorrhage as not all of the placenta came out! After some talk with DP we are finally ready to try again. We didn't really DTD much this month but I think I'm around 6dpo maybe?
