Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns

Anyone else?

@mamaatthegym ahhh lovely to hear from you! it's so hard to switch off and "not" try when we know our cycles so well! I'm in the symptom spotting/trying not to test stage 🙄 Few more days and hopefully I'll know either way.

Sorry you feeling ill! I'm the same full of cold. I hate having cold it makes me feel utterly rubbish!! Xxx

@mamaatthegym nice to see you again! I can totally understand how "not trying" is actually not really different to actively ttc. I wish there was a switch we could flick to turn the babymaking madness off.

I'm 7DPO and I have zero symptoms to spot. Literally, nothing. Doesn't stop me from staring at the FRERs in the bathroom cabinet though does it? 😅 I resisted this morning, but I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hold off!

@Mybobowler I've been reading the instructions today for my FRERS. 🤣🤣 I really wanted to wait till earliest Sunday but think I'll cave tomorrow morning....

What is everyone's thoughts on the positive OPK =pregnant theory? Apparently if you get a positive OPK it's a sign of pregnancy. My first thought is that if it's positive on OPK surely a PRegnancy year would be as well? X

Hi @mamaatthegym good to hear from you 😊 I’m waiting for AF to end and counting down to next fertile window, although not going to use OPKs this month as they made me more stressed. We’ll just see what happens I guess!

@May2311 aren't they measuring different hormones, so I'm not sure a positive opk would mean a positive pregnancy test.

I think I might be out, there was blood there when I went to loo earlier, another short cycle so frustrating!

Af hasn't arrived yet and negative pregnancy test, af will probably arrive over the next couple of days 😒 as got a dull heavy feeling in my tummy like af is coming

I've just caved at 10DPO and think I've got my BFP! ❤️❤️❤️

So, after posting earlier that I had zero symptoms to spot, I'm now in the "pregnancy or PMS?" twilight zone. I've had some strange twitching sensations in my uterus (could be gas, tbf) and little shooting/stinging pains too. Neither are particularly remarkable really and are very likely just to be PMS and yet, here I am, reading Babycentre symptom spotting threads from a decade ago and wondering if it's too early to take a test (it is).

@Mybobowler yeah we tend to be cycle buddies. Pretty sure it's AF, last two cycles got peak opk cd16 and af Cd22 I think the timing is too spot on for anything else, plus think flow is a bit heavy for implantation (it's not heavy but not just spotting either), I'll know for sure tomorrow though. Still got sore boobs/nipples so no idea what's going on with that!! We definitely know how to drive ourselves crazy with the symptom spotting!!

@mrssunshinexxx I'm so sorry about my last response! I did type out a full response but hubby came home so in my excitement I must have posted it and deleted some accidentally! So the response was supposed to say....No I'll be due 5 December however I was 2 weeks early with DD!

@mrssunshinexxx when I saw what had happened I was like oh no that comes across super blunt 🤣🤣 Hubby was chuffed- his first thought was "wow I must have Olympic swimmers- I was looking forward to the "trying" bit" why do men think the most random things 🙈 What's the group called? Yep 10months she will be 11 months beginning of April! You and I can go on this very crazy/sleep deprived journey together 🤣 Luckily DD sleeps through normally so long may it continue!! Xx
