Anyone TTC #2?

Lots of threads about TTC baby #1 so looking for someone baby #2 support!

If so how old is your current DC and what made you realise it was the right time?

DD has just turned 1 and we are thinking about #2 very soon! DD took 14 months to conceive so I’m prepared for another long slog...although a bit panicky that it could happen sooner! Am also still shifting some baby weight that clung on nicely during both lockdowns

Anyone else?

@Cantthinkofaname99 - do you usually get sore nipples before AF?

I've started the symptom spotting as well 🙄 achy back on left hand side and funny taste in my mouth last night. Although I am trying to think if I have that every month anyways 🙈

@LoopeyK I think your next on the thread to test on Friday is that right?

I'm Sunday ( if AF doesn't arrive!) and @Mybobowler your next Tuesday. When is everyone else due to test or AF? Xxx

@May2311 maybe occasionally but definitely not every month, definitely had it the month I think I had a chemical. Although could be the pregnacare making pms symptoms more enhanced. AF is due Sunday according to one app and a week on Saturday according to another, so maybe somewhere in the middle, if it does come I just hope it's not early, as that will mean a short luteal phase.

That's the problem i have never sure if it's just a normal AF symptom or something else!! We will drive ourselves crazy!

Let's hope for some BFP's this month!!

Aaw @dunkedbiscuit I'm so sorry. No matter how much we tell ourselves we won't get our hopes up, it still feels horrible. Are you definitely out? How many DPO are you?

I almost started symptom spotting last night (had some stinging type pain) but then I had a stern work with myself and remembered that I'm only 2/3DPO and literally nothing is happening yet. Why do we do this to ourselves?!

@Cantthinkofaname99 I have the same problem with my apps predicting different AF dates! I have a short luteal phase as well and I think I ovulate earlier from one side (cycles alternate in length) so I'm never totally sure what to expect. Makes it so hard to know when to test but yeah, about midway through the two predictions feels sensible.

Thanks all, yes definitely out for me @Mybobowler I’m 13 dpo and AF has started this afternoon so onto the next cycle we go. I’m feeling a bit sad about it but ok

I’m out too. Would have tested tomorrow but AF arrived this morning bang on schedule. I’d definitely got my hopes up this month but at least I can have a drink tonight!

Well I caved and tested today 🤦‍♀️ wish I hadn't, got a negative result, still 2 days away from af being due but I think I'm out

@Mybobowler I've been doing the same! I'm only 5 dpo and already thinking to myself that I have symptoms 😂
My temping has gone haywire due to broken sleep the last few nights so I'm feeling totally in the dark at the moment and I hate that!
AF due around 1st April I think but for some weird reason my charting app has pushed it back a week after I entered peak day/ovulation info. Why is everything so confusing?!? 🤣 xx

When I feel with my first my hcg level were super low and didn't detect until nearly week after my af was due lol snd when I went for my first scan I was actually 9 weeks not 8 like we thought. Will see what happens over the weekend and keep you all posted, usually by now though I have sore breasts from pms symptoms and I haven't but they feel fuller and heavy, baring in mind I'm tiny, only have B cup lol so fingers crossed there's still a chance 🤞

@LoopeyK sorry about the negative test, but like other have said you are still in with a chance.

My boobs are super achy still which definitely isn't normal for me, keep having to tell myself it could just be pms! I mean I'm only 4dpo so pretty early for any symptoms!

You know after nearly 12 months of ttc you would think I would be able to know the difference in my pms symptoms but it's always different, except my books are always sore but they aren't, usually they are sore atleast 4/5 days prior to my af arriving, maybe that's a good sign?
The tww has been fine for me but 2 days before af and I'm trying not to think bout it

Well woke up this morning and my left boob is definitely tender, sore, right not so much.
14dpo today, birthday tomorrow, would be lovely to get a positive this weekend, but I really don't think we will 🥺 April will be 12 months of trying so if nothing happens next month we are going to book a drs appointment

@LoopeyK I really hope you get your BFP!! But if you don't try and stay positive and think at least we are getting advice from GP!

I have a full on cold but think I'm out- just a feeling! Will see what the weekend brings as well. Xx

Yes I've been using opk this month
I tried cheap ones last Yr then stopped as nothing was happening but my cycles range from 26-30 days so trying the cb opk this month, will find out this weekend nd if not will try again next cycle

9 DPO today ladies - fighting to urge to test which is so unlike me- normally I'm quite content to wait till AF due date!!! Talk me out of testing early!!!

Hah @May2311 I'm a sucker for testing early too! I've been looking up what happens each day after ovulation, which is helping to remind me that there's a lot needs to happen before I can hope for a positive test! Can you do something to distract yourself? Or buy yourself a treat for for same price as an FRER 😅

Hi ladies, I can confirm that TWW takes just as long even when you aren’t TTC honestly it’s felt like forever. I think I’m due Monday but didn’t track so have no idea really. I also said we had a month off trying but we did DTD once or twice after I thought I’d O’d (based on last cycle) so I thought there wouldn’t be a chance anyway...and then 2 days later I got very mild O symptoms so I’m wondering if I did O late and might be in with a chance now but I’ve actually had the worst PMS for a couple of days, mood swings are terrible I’ve been crying at everything, feeling upset and angry, absolutely ravenous when dinner comes around I could eat a horse haha. These are usual AF symptoms for me since I had DD so doubt I am PG but so much for “not trying” I’m also really ill with a cold
