Day 41 Negative Test.

Morning everyone,

Trying for a baby for a year. Normal cycle 27-30 days now day 41, negative "not pregnant" result from a clear blue digital pregnancy test this morning.
Ugh...
Test again (could it be too early) or except it's a longer cycle? Longest I've had since I've tracked in 3 years.
Cramps for a week.
I'm 36 years old if that helps lol..

I'm nearly 36 and it can't help but cross my mind. I just never thought I would be in this situation and although I know I'm blessed to have 2 children already, I always thought my son wouldn't be my last. I'm trying to get in the mind set of if it's meant to be it will be but can't help but feel disappointed and worried. I've stopped taking the supplements that the fertility clinic suggested I could take as it's been over 7 months of taking them and nothing and they are expensive. I've now decided just to take the preconception tablets from boots. I really hope we all get our bfp rather than af 🤞🏻 x

Yes, me too @Cjg14 I'm fortunate enough to have three children, but I'm now remarried and would love a child with my new husband. If it's doesn't happen then it doesn't but it is still a stressful situation.
I could never imagine wanting another child at this age, but life changes.

I've started having twinges in my lower left abdomen this evening, Google is worrying me with talk of ectopic pregnancies. Is this worth worrying about do you think? They're sharp but not painful and I'm still having very light spotting that I only see when I wipe. Just not sure the twinges should only be on one side

Could it be AF? If you are worried maybe call the doctors?
Does sound a bit odd! Maybe best to get advice.

Morning all, how are you all getting on? My list of weird-isms is now: Spotting, slight twinges on left side, sore boobs, stuffy nose, vivid dreams. I have no tests in the house so will either need to test later today or wait until tomorrow. I'm far too much of a control freak for this waiting!

@missnessa84 I'm thinking if the twinges continue I will give the doctor a call tomorrow just in case

Hi ladies, so I've taken a ic and it's negative again but I have also taken a ovulation test and it's high/peak yet again! Have any of you taken an ovulation test whilst ur waiting for af to turn up? X

Hi all, looks like I'm out. Two days of spotting which stopped last night but AF is here this morning

Oh no @pizzaandcats least you know where you are now. How many days did you get to?
I have a feeling we might all be experiencing the same thing.

I got to 46, called the doctor today and I'm waiting for a call back to see what's next for me as we have been trying for nearly 2 years now.

Hope to see some good news coming from the thread soon

My AF arrived Saturday it has definitely been the worst I've ever had. Cramps yesterday had me in tears! Very heavy for me I think it's just about slowing down. Was very worried earlier at work but no pain now thankfully. I really hope this cycle isn't as long I'm gonna try and chill out I think 🙈

Oh poor you @sociallydistained sounds horrible, I'm dreading mine turning up, it can be bad on my longest cycle 36 days... 52 now.
Hope you feel better soon, and chilling is a great idea.

Hi everyone, sorry I havent been on in a while, just caught up now.

Im so sorry for you ladies who's AF arrived, its so hard but its also a relief after waiting so long for anything to happen.

I am still currently waiting for AF, I did do a test a few days after I tested on that Tuesday but none since and that was a bfn 😞.

No more AF symptoms or anything for that matter, I still feel tired a lot of the time still so I have no idea.

How are you all getting on now?

Hi everyone, I'm now on day 61 with no sign of af. I have had terrible stomach pains but not like af cramps. I'm really over this now and just want af to show up! I did see a post the other day of a lady who was on day 80 and then got a bfp...is there still possibly hope?? I doubt it but why isn't af happening 😔

Poor you that's so long. I'm really over this now. What's going on?
I read a similar post, I'm wondering if perhaps they have ovulated much much later than they think. Or missed AF then got pregnant.
So in fact it's not 80 days.
Who knows, we can hope.
