Morning everyone,

Trying for a baby for a year. Normal cycle 27-30 days now day 41, negative "not pregnant" result from a clear blue digital pregnancy test this morning.
Ugh...
Test again (could it be too early) or except it's a longer cycle? Longest I've had since I've tracked in 3 years.
Cramps for a week.
I'm 36 years old if that helps lol..

Thanks in advance x

@Sunnybeam I've increased cm. Do get an increase around AF time, but not like this.

@missnessa84 me too but I've been having it for the last week or so and it's abit different to what I have before af usually arrives, constantly feel 'wet' if that makes sense?

missnessa84 · 22/11/2020 09:29

@Cjg14 yes that makes sense. However my cervix feels low, and soft. More confusing Blush

@cjg14 sounds like me, although I only had cramping for 1 day which I assume was maybe ovulation.

I must have had implantation last night if it was as I suffered with some back ache but still think its too early to test yet.

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 10:20

@missnessa84 sounds promising to me, your cervix is meant to be soft during pregnancy although it can take a few weeks to start going soft too, but if its soft already then that could be a good sign.

Cjg14 · 22/11/2020 10:30

@missnessa84 I don't know about the whole cervix thing, what do they say about it and how do you find out if you don't mind me asking?

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 10:51

Cjg14 you find out by feeling yourself, Google how to feel for you cervix and it should tell you step by step.

Cjg14 · 22/11/2020 11:30

@Sunnybeam yes thought it would be 🤣 just wasn't sure what it all meant and how you know If you know what I mean but will have a look thanks 🙂

missnessa84 · 22/11/2020 12:29

@Cjg14 The bf said it felt low.... haha although he is feeling very hopeful that I'm pregnant, so maybe not the most reliable source! I don't regularly check to it's position, it can explain pregnancy but not conclusive.

My cramps have gone, still feeling the need to wee often, day 43 now. Confused

@missnessa84 definitely sounds good for you, I definitely feel more pregnant today, more discharge and im feeling very nauseous today, still no AF, cannot wait to take that test now on wednesday.

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 14:36

@cjg14 im really hoping its our month this month fornus all, have you checked your cervix?

Cjg14 · 22/11/2020 17:11

No I haven't looked online about it yet but will do. Had cramps earlier and felt really wet so was sure it was af but after checking, no it wasn't which prompted me to do another opk and it was high again so am I trying to ovulate now? Who knows Confused

missnessa84 · 22/11/2020 17:50

I've felt a bit sick today at times, and the uti type feeling is there. Think better go to the doctor for that.
Do any of you think a uti could delay AF?

OP posts:
Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 17:50

Its possible if you've missed your period and are on your next cycle, have you taken another test yet?

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 17:53

@missnessa84 hmmm, I dont think a uti can no, but you can be pregnant which can cause a uti. Thats what I've learnt through a lot of browsing, id say to definitely get it checked out because you don't want it spreading and definitely stick to the plan to test again mid week as like I said pregnancy can cause uti.

missnessa84 · 22/11/2020 18:29

@Sunnybeam it's possible I've missed a cycle but almost unheard of with me. I will get it checked, starting to get a bit paranoid about stuff now, like maybe something medically wrong with me. Better stop looking at Doctor Google!!

OP posts:
Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 18:34

Worst thing you can do is look at Google for symptoms because all kinds of things pop up, if I ever have a symptom I always write early pregnancy or possibly or ttc with it so that way its more specific, also if you write mumsnet after symptom checking you can then see older posts and see if people have experienced the same thing and the more people who have the more relieved youll feel.

Annannanna · 22/11/2020 19:59

My cervix is lower that it was the other day, I've only ever checked it twice. Is that a bad sign? I thought it should be going higher if pregnant??

I think I might have skipped a cycle and ovulated earlier this week without realising it as I was looking out for AF or BFP instead! Totally missed my window if so! Sad

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 20:20

Its not necessarily whether its lower or higher, its to do with how soft or hard it is, yeah the cervix should be just out of reach but no one ever notices how much it changes during pregnancy with a bump in the way.

How far dpo are you? Have you taken any tests?

Annannanna · 22/11/2020 20:32

I'm 12 days late for my period, not sure when I ovulated as I wasn't tracking properly. I will definitely use opk next time!

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 21:43

I wasn't sure when I ovulated this month either but I did have cramping for one day and then back ache for 2 days after so gathered that could have been ovulation and I think I had implantation last night because I suffered with more back ache and been feeling nauseous today, it did stop earlier but its come back again 🤢 also feel exhausted, slight headache and hard boobs at the top which is something that happens only when im pg.
So now I'm thinking I maybe tested too early, maybe you have too, id say wait a bit longer and test again.
Im waiting until Wednesday to test as that's the earliest I can.

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 21:45

Also I definitely ov later this month so its definitely possible, ive never ov'd this late before.

Mummy2219 · 22/11/2020 21:45

I am 6 days late had positive opks for 2 days now

Sunnybeam · 22/11/2020 21:48

@mummy2219 have you dtd in these 2 days just incase? Also I'd definitely take a test, if it is ov then at least if you dtd you have a shot this time.

Sunnybeam · 23/11/2020 11:41

How is everyone getting on? Anything yet?
