No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

@lastbany thank you for confirming! I'm glad I am sane. At least somewhat. Haha. I am cycle day 36 and AF is 6 days late. I tested last when AF was 3 days late. It was very very negative. Not even a sign of a second line. I honestly haven't been tracking my ovulation, but I am guessing I ovulated late since it took this long to get a very slight positive. Now to decide if I should call the doctor today or wait a couple days to see if the line gets darker then call.

@ImpatientMama yes I see line son both most definitely! I'm cd34 but usually have 28 days cycle I wonder if to buy a frer I did take Sainsbury's they say early detection b are 25 iul and frer I think are 6/10 just hate wasting the money haha
I don't k ow what to do honestly still have cramps but very intermittent

@lastbany I am irregular but based on the app I use to track my periods, my average is 30 days. I feel ya about wasting money. Ha. I have been taking supplements too if that helps. Helped me get pregnant last time too. They are called Conception. This last month I took a slightly different one. I forget the name but there are lots of options on Amazon.

@ImpatientMama I've been spoilt! I fell preg with my two eldest without trying was young 19/25 I them at 31 fell preg on the coil!! Abs then at 35 with my youngest on first try month after coil removal (second coil) my baby is only 11 month so I feel surely things haven't changed tht much but then I think well could be! I'm scared I'm having early menapause I don't know why have it in my head!! I have sold some trousers on Facebook they are coming now with £10 cash I'm deffo going to shop! Gonna buy a pack of two one I'm gonna take this afternoon lol and one in morning! I've decided ! I have to because I think if neg I'm deffo out! I have a doc app over ohone Tuesday so if negative gonna leave till then ! Will let you know results later xx

Ok stark white on the frer I really don't think I am preg now! Day 34 late by 4/6 days cramps for 12 days! Fed up

@lastbany good luck! Definitely let me know! I am going to test again in a couple days and if it has gotten darker (which is hopefully will) I will call the doctor. And hopefully get an appointment before the holiday so I can get it officially confirmed.

@lastbany i was looking so hard for that line for you! But I don't see it. 😕 I would for sure test in the morning which is the best time. Good luck!

@ImpatientMama ye caus they will just book you a booking app with midwofe who then will book your scan etc! I might leave few more days and test the morning or even Monday morning so then doc tues xx

Absolutely stark white on mine too, I did a First Response for the first time too. Had a feeling it was going to come up blank but thought worth a try I guess. Don't see any way of me being pregnant now either, that's 19dpo and even if I ovulated late it should still be around 14dpo. Just need to wait for AF and hope it arrives otherwise no idea what to do. Have a call with the doctor Tuesday anyways so can ask then!

Ok ladies. A couple days ago my tests had not even a hint of a second line. Trust me. I looked very closely for one. I caved and took my last two tests this morning. Am I crazy, or is there a VERY faint second line? I don't trust the blue dye test 100%, but the pink dye one does have a second line...right?! I am going to buy more tests and test again in a couple days to see if that line gets darker. If I am crazy, let me know, because it's possible. Haha. 😂

@lastbany it's so frustrating isn't it 😞 why is there this confusing grey area, I need a clear BFP or AF to come, this BFN and no AF is just so hard to deal with. I've already been struggling with this mentally and have been worried about my cycle etc so this doesn't help. My BF bless still has hope but I'm just like how can I be when there isn't even a faint line!

I also think this month is the most relaxed I've been so it's just such a rubbish feeling. And makes me regret not doing OPKs and BTT cos I've no clue if or when I ovulated!

I didn't do OPKs or BTT with my previous pregnancy, so I felt no need to do it this time. I feel like doing those would make me stress more. But I know lots of others do it with success. I will keep praying for you all, and all the ladies TTC. I look forward to hearing about your BFPs soon! Hopefully mine is the real deal. 🤞

@ImpatientMama yeah I didn't to start with, I just went with the app for an ovulation estimate. But the more I read online about what others did to track, I thought why not! OPKs are ok but the BBT tracking is a bit stressful, doing it first thing and making sure you've had enough sleep before it is hard and then one month it implied I'd had an implantation dip, gave me a lot of false hope and became obsessive checking! But at least it confirmed I'd ovulated. Might just do OPKs next month again and see! Thank you! I hope so too, there are def lines there! And I'm sure it will get darker as the days go on!!

With dd2 I didn’t get a bfp until af was nearly 2 weeks late! Xx

@Mrsmummy90 did you not? Were they all totally BFN with not even a faint line? Did you ovulate late do you know? AF is now a week late and 3 BFN, one was FRER. My cycles are normally around 24/25 days and this is now CD32. The wait is killing me!!!

@HJen22 same here did a frer yest (late on granted) but still stark white!! Just don't get it cd35 for me today with cycles around 28/30 just think even if I ovulated mega late surely would see something now! Plus my problem also is we dtd like max around when we thought and tht did us in for rest month haha so think we dtd odd time for rest like every 3 days or sow thing I know only takes one time just think what's going on?!!!

They were all stark negatives. We dtd 3 days after ovulation so god knows how we caught! We were tracking my cycle to avoid getting pregnant as dd1 was only 8 months old but it didn’t work 😂
I figured something was up because I was having a drink one evening and my taste had changed and I hated it. Did a few tests and they were all bfn. Then after nearly 2 weeks o got a blazing bfp xx

@lastbany I have been thinking the exact same, we DTD from the end of AF every second day (sometimes 3rd) to cover just before and after fertile week then have a rest haha so I'm thinking if I ovulated late too we'll have missed it and there's a chance didn't even do it once if I ovulated after the 20th 🙈 I've expected AF that week so wasnt bothered haha! We did say we'll just DTD all month rather than track but that's more exhausting! I didn't even think about late ovulation because when I have tracked it's been early! One day on CD9 so we start DTD right after AF normally and that covered if early! Still hope for us yet though if no AF. I have another FRER and I'm just going to have to wait another week if AF doesn't come I think.

@HJen22 I Judah looked we did 18/22/29 all cd after the day 15 so no idea!! Usually ovulate around 15/17 I believe so even if was day 18 surely would show now day 35?!

@lastbany that's what I keep thinking, after going for it FW we then only DTD 15th and 20th, and even then that's still 11dpo yesterday! And the chances of doing it bang on the right day after what I thought was FW I would have thought would be slim. But I guess the body doesn't always do what we think! I don't want to falsely hope that maybe I'm just one of the ladies who doesn't show up for a while. This is my first TTC and it's not how I'd expected it to go. A late AF should be BFP and all happy days 😂 if only!
