No AF and BFNs 🤷‍♀️

Hello! We are trying for our second child and I am frustrated. I am sure several of you can relate to being frustrated with this whole TTC thing. 😅 Anyways. AF was due 3 days ago and has not shown her ugly face yet. But I have also gotten nothing but negatives (and one invalid). I was planning on not testing again until AF is a week late. Anyone get their BFP that late or even later? I am irregular, so it could just be a late period? I just want to know if I really am pregnant or not, so I can move on! Thanks for any insight you all provide! 😊

Feeling the day ladies, no idea what's going on. Another day late and no sign of AF for me too, and I was convinced I'd wake up to it this morning! It's so hard, the TWW is now turning into 3! I'm now 5 days late and am panicking I've just not ovulated which my BF thinks is silly, but I can't get myself excited or I'll be even more devastated than normal. As much as I want to do a test I can't bear to see a negative. So I'm holding out.

I'm worried I haven't ovulated too but I've never not had a period in my entire life and why all the symptoms? It's so frustrating.

Btw guys if any of you have prime then FRER's are on an amazing deal at the mo £5.09 for 2! Ordered mine yesterday they're arriving today... I may have to order more whilst they're cheap especially if today and tomorrow's are BFN's too 🙄

@sociallydistained I don't think I've ever missed one either! Certainly not since I came off the pill end of March anyway, I've been a little obsessive tracking 😂

Are FRER the best ones to do? I've only ever done the cheap ones from my local shop and the hcg strip thing that comes with the ovulation sticks.

I just don't think I can face another negative test. But I'm getting so impatient!

@HJen22 I've heard they're the most reliable. Both of mine were clear blue but one was out of date by a lot 😂 but 2 negs on those.

@sociallydistained I'm being totally ridiculous and thinking if I buy good ones online I'll tempt fate and my period will come 😂🙈 that's the stage of crazy thinking I'm at! This is just a whole new level of learning, I figured I'd either get a positive test or AF, but oh no it just can't be that simple can it! Haha!

Yesterday we just thought F IT after DP bought a bloody clear blue digital for £13!!! And it was negative. Completely deflated by that because if I'm pregnant I'd be at least 3 weeks so surely it would show up something on there? But I don't know so feel what the hell!

@sociallydistained if you didn't track ovulation then there is totally still a chance that you ovulated late and there just isn't enough hcg yet in your system! I read some stories online some people take ages to get a positive so there is still hope til AF arrives.

I know from my app that it my cycle lasts longer or shorter and I didn't confirm ovulation through anything it can then change the date!

I have been doing OPKs and did 2 months of BBT but I found the BBT too much. It's too easy to read way too much into everything. So I did nothing this month, and have no idea when I ovulated. But the month before it said CD9 after OPKs and BBT! So if it was the same as last month AF should definitely be here by now!

Day 5 of no AF. Holding out testing until AF hasn't shown for a week. I have 1 Clear Blue and 1 First Response Early Response left to use. I guess I will just use both on that day and hope for the best. If I am still negative, I will definitely set up a doctors appointment and request a blood test. I just need to know either way and move on. I hope they don't turn me away or make me wait another week to test. Someone on my tracking app says she is 6 weeks late and her doctors just continue to tell her to wait a week and test again. That is beyond frustrating. There is no way I would make it to that point. I would go to another doctor. Anyways, hoping that something happens this weekend whether it be AF or BFP. 🤞

@HJen22 There is still hope for us both. Really wishing you the best. My tests haven't arrived yet and I need to leave or work so another agonising afternoon checking in the loo and thinking about test taking 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have had cramps on and off for ages and as of Sunday I felt they were increasing slightly and definitely a sign of AF but I swear I've said the same thing every night that they are definitely stronger today meaning AF tomorrow. Feeling the same right now but also a little sign of hope that I've been thinking the same all week 😂 ... crazy stuff.

@sociallydistained definitely hope for us yet, I really wish you all the best too! It's such an agonising wait during a normal cycle, let alone this! I just came out a walk to take my mind off things and get some fresh air!

Hopefully cramps and no AF is a positive thing, I had cramps last week in the lead up to AF which have totally disappeared. The only thing I have is feeling constantly like AF has started!

@ImpatientMama that's crazy someone had to wait that long! Hopefully next test is a BFP and no need for the appointment! Really hope this weekend has some answers for us! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I have been cramping a lot and having discharge that is watery. Throughout the day I go to the bathroom thinking AF started, but nope. 🙄

Freshman year of college I had 1 maybe 2 periods the whole year. I went on birth control to regulate it. Was on it until July 2018, 4 months before I got pregnant with my son. Never missed a period between coming off the pill and my BFP (which I got day 2 of no AF). I was on birth control again several months after my son was born and took my last pill mid-August. I thought it would be a similar conception experience. But nope. I guess it's true that every pregnancy (if I am pregnant) is different.

I think I'm out guys. I have gone over my periods since coming off the pill at the end of august and they are more irregular than I thought. I really feel like I'm gonna be a week late now and that's part of the course of my periods adjusting. I was only tracking periods on Fitbit and it has moved my fertile days now I've input my precious periods correctly so I don't even think I was fertile when I thought it was.
I just feel so stupid for suspecting I was pregnant now and telling DP I thought I was. Honestly wishing everyone here their BFP's soon though!

@sociallydistained maybe try a different app. I use Ovia Fertility. I like it a lot. Got pregnant with my first one using it. They also have an app for pregnancy and parenting which I used as well.

@sociallydistained there is nothing to feel silly about, I've had plenty of months where I've thought I was PG and wasn't, it's sucks 😔 when AF arrives it's a brand new month and another chance. The moving of fertile days is so annoying, it's happened to me and because of that we've tried to DTD over the course of the 2 weeks every 2nd or 3rd day, I guess we maybe should even a little longer if not confirming ovulation, i find it feels so planned though, and knackering! You never know though, not totally out until AF arrives!

Thank you. I am almost certainly out I've done a FRER and not even a hint at a line and I'm sure there really would be one by now. I think I'll expect AF by the weekend. My symptoms this month have been off the chart. Really not sure how I'd guess I was pregnant before AF in the future after this 🙈 what a roller coaster!

@sociallydistained Yeah my last test was a FRER and it also showed no hint of a second line which bummed me out. I am going to try my best to wait to test again until Sunday, bit I am SO tempted to test tomorrow just to see if anything changed! Ugh. This waiting is dumb. Haha. Good luck to you! Wishing you the best @ImpatientMama ! It's hard when you see people positing their BFP starting with faint lines and getting darker and you don't even get a hint! I'm so happy for them and love seeing them but you think wow still nothing?!

Well I saw someone said Sainsbury's test were like 10mil actually 25! Anyways bought a pack on way home tonight just took one (should have waited I know) but littally nowt! I can se when look at diff angles a shadowy but I know it's only tht! I honestly think now I'm not preg and I'm going through change or something
Just so fed up but glad didn't spend all money on frer

I am about to break. I am REALLY thinking I will test tomorrow morning since its been a couple days since my last test. I have one FRER and one Clearblue left so I may do both and hope for the best. My local grocery store has a brand which I used with my first pregnancy that is cheaper than the name-brand. So if need be, I can grab some of those for more tests. As my name says, I am impatient. 😅 It is driving me crazy!! 🤪

@ImpatientMama well I took the other Sao today bfn day 34 today usually have 27 day cycles this is a joke now! I have dicots app on Tuesday but I can't see me been pregnant now there's no possible way a don't believe it! Just don't get what has happened

Still no sign of AF for me today. And I stupidly did an OPK which has just caused me way more confusion. I started to think oh what it I'm in fertile window and don't know and we're missing peak time to be BD, it came back high when I fully expected it to be low. I've read you can get an LH surge before AF. I know some say it can detect Pregnancy (but it's not a good method to use) so I'm trying to ignore that, so all in all was not helpful at all really! Still don't want to do another test as I just really don't want to see a BFN again. Ugh 😞

Ok ladies. A couple days ago my tests had not even a hint of a second line. Trust me. I looked very closely for one. I caved and took my last two tests this morning. Am I crazy, or is there a VERY faint second line? I don't trust the blue dye test 100%, but the pink dye one does have a second line...right?! I am going to buy more tests and test again in a couple days to see if that line gets darker. If I am crazy, let me know, because it's possible. Haha. 😂

@ImpatientMama ong deffo line in both!!! So holy for you this is great news!! Can I ask (as I need the hope) what day cycle are you? How late? When did you ovulate? Or think you did? And how many days cycle do you usually have
